CW owns me, he did before this clip. No wonder why Rob would say he is one of the nicest ppl he's ever met. He sure seems like it on interviews an in person. Very cool guy!
Interesting interview by this guy again, except for the part when he said Rob's last name as Patterson. :-) I thought Chris's views on why Rob is so popular were interesting also, people feel protective of him, that's true judging by the reactions every time a pap takes his picture LOL

Robert's very good looking, worldly in some ways, but also gives off a boyish charms, so it makes all these adult women confused about whether they want to tuck him into bed or else throw into bed. lol
I didn't think I could like Chris any more than I already do and then bam, another awesome interview. HE just seems so genuinely nice and he's so spot on about everything, especially Rob. I get so happy when someone else sees what I (we) see in Rob. It makes me feel like I'm not crazy (not completely anway) for being so head over feet for this boy I don't even know...

Gahh, one of my big pet hates! Why can't people pronounce Robs name?! I hear so many people do it!! Repeat after me... Pattinson. PattINson! Not, Patterson. PATTINSON! Sheesh. Rant over!
I love Chris. He really does come across as one of the nice, genuine people! No wonder they all sing his praise!
I loved Chris W. - or like Goz called him: the "WeitzMaster" :) - before and if possible love him even more now!

Since Rob obviously likes Chris so much I'm really curious what he will have to say about David S. once the EC interview junkets come around. Somehow I have the feeling, Robert didn't get on with him so well - hmmmm?
@Pet73 I have a feeling that more of the cast may not have gotten so well along with David Slade as they did with CW..just a gut feeling I got after the Eternal Twilight convention in UK this past Oct..he seemed to be more "rigid" when it came to his vision of how to bring Eclipse to life and less keen on giving the actors some free room to improvise. Chris Weitz were more into trusting that the actors knew the characters so well so he gave them some freedom.
This is an impression I got after talking to Gil Birmingham at that convention. He wasn't bad mouthing Slade just saying he was more adament on brining HIS vision of Eclipse to the screen more than anything. So I got the feeling that there were some underlying tension work wise there.
I may have read too much into that though lol
Maryann- I grew suspicious the first time when Rob mentioned at CoCon that he became protective of the story and the characters. Even more so, since Rob also mentioned that he usually doesn't behave like that. At this time I really began to worry about EC :(.
I said it already several times that EC is my favourite book and it irks me that David S. probably can ruin it. I hope that Rob (and the rest of the cast) managed to maintain their vision of the story and the portrayal of the characters.
First of all, the banner-wouldn't it be the best present ever to open that big red box full of Rob!
Also love CW. Yes, Rob IS nice, warm and sweet, and yes we will defend him to anyone who says differently! I have my doubts about cast melding w/David Slade. He seems like he just might be somewhat overbearing, but hopefully he has done right by SM's Eclipse.
I watched the Kris, Rob and Chris interview by this guy and loved them all. I think he asks some really good questions. I recommend them.
He does seem to be a very nice guy. I also never understood why the Golden Compass didn't do well. I liked it and had read all 3 of the books beforehand which are FANTASTIC. Went to the theatre to see the movie and left very satsified and sure that two more movies would follow..bummer!

I am scared for eclipse...DS worries me
Even if they didn't have quite the same working relationship with David as they did with Chris, I don't think that necessarily means Eclipse won't rival NM. Could use the 'pearl' analogy, but a bit trite. ;)Depends on how they differ. I think David's visceral edge might heighten the emotional aspect as well as the action. Hoping, anyway.

Yeah, it becomes easier, once you know a person and his appeal, to go about destroying it in the movie.
If people think he did a good job with new moon (specially E/B, then they DESERVE a BD from this guy.
Anyway, i am done with this Tayfest Saga, New Moon was the last straw. All their Tay promoting machinery (to the extent of rushing up E/B scenes, giving rob bad makeup, juvenile editing of his scenes, not including Edwards tender parts in the movie -making him appear more cold...), proves that they have no intention of ever getting E/B right and tender. There is nothing else left to bind me to this series.
But annaz, Rob is the one who should bind all of us to the series. Yes, I agree NM was disappointing in that E/B was not front and center. Truthfully though, I can't wait for twilight mania to be over so I can enjoy Rob in meatier roles.

Here's a recipe for robcake
Ingredients:
* 2 cups boiling love
* 1 cup sense of humour powder
* 2 3/4 cups all-purpose patience
* 2 teaspoons of shyness
* 1/2 teaspoon stubborn powder
* 1/2 teaspoon of sex
* 1 cup smile softened
* 2 1/4 cups of talent
* 2 eggs XD
* 1 1/2 teaspoons old soul extract
* glaze beauty
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 3 - 9 inch round cake pans. In medium bowl, pour boiling love over sense of humour, and whisk until smooth. Let mixture cool. Sift together patience,shyness,stubborn powder and sex; set aside
2. In a large bowl, smile softened and talent together until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at time, then stir in old soul. Add the patience mixture alternately with the love mixture. Spread batter evenly between the 3 prepared pans.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Allow to cool.
Decorate the top .
