Yes, I have been to the festival many times. The screenings are great but the real fun is at night in the taverns. Got invited to a few of the 'private' parties over the years, but felt uncomfortable and didn't hang out for too long (for the most part, when a civilian is invited into the inner sanctum of celebrity, it's usually for one purpose...not interested). And besides, exclusivity doesn't do it for me. Smacks of elitisim. Another no no of mine.

After I caught Last Tango a couple of weeks ago and was struck with the similarity between Brando and Rob, I went out and rented On The Waterfront (hadn't seen it for years). And I've come to the conclusion that I made a mistake. I always said Rob was a hybrid of James Dean and the young Elvis Presley. Wrong. He may have hooded eyes like Elvis, but that's about it. That boy is a hybrid of James Dean and Marlon Brando.

@rpattzgirl.My life has been hell in a handbasket many times the past six years. Here in Greece we say if something doesn't litteraly kill you then it makes you as solid as a rock.
