I have seen the spoiler pics (who didn't!), but I know very little else about this movie, mainly just that Pierce is in it...until now and it looks really good!!! I am super excited to see Robert show folks what he's got besides a pretty brooding vampire in complete obsessive love!

Yes finally!! I was trying to watch this on another twilight fan site and I simply couldn't open it, I was going insane for a moment. Then I remembered this wonderful site and came running here, lol.
And WOW I think this movie will be great! Robert looks amazing and smoldering as usual and I like the lead heroine they chose with him. All the actors that appear in this trailer seem to be doing a great job, and this looks like it's going to be a great movie. Wow...Tyler.
And thank goodness there isn't a lot of swearing, a little swearing I don't mind, but I dislike it when they overdo it in some movies or shows because then it just becomes tasteless.

Wow,I´m really exited about that movie. It´s so good to see him play something so different to Edward or any other "young role". And I´m glad that he seems to be so alterable. Its just a little trailer, but it looks like he´s really in his new role without any mannerism of his own or of any of his former roles. Something, I think, differs him from Kristen, and I mean no offence here. Kristen is so young and has a lot of talent, I´m sure she´ll develope. Might be I because I saw some scenes from adventureland today where she always went through her hair :-)

I haven´t seen all of Adventurland, so I actually shouldn´t judge about her acting skills there. I mean, who am I to judg her anyway...whatever I loved her in Into the Wild.
Okay, so after watching this, I have a few things to say(all good, I promise!):
1. I didn't think it was possible to be this excited over a movie that's not New Moon right now, but this trailer proved to me that it is.
2. This couldn't be more different from Edward, and although I do love him as Edward, I'm really happy about that.
3. I think this movie could prove how good of an actor Rob is outside of the Twilight series, as well as how much range he has as an actor. DEFINITELY a good thing!
4. LOVE the ashtray scene, so funny! And so Rob. It just seems like something he would say in real life lol.
5. I actually think he looks sexier in this movie than he does as Edward.
Oh yeah, and lastly, I think he has a very promising career ahead of him, if he wants it. I feel so lame though, I was like a mother watching her son, I felt so proud of him haha. Is that ridiculous?
Maryann, I was thinking the same thing! Ever since he said he might write music for a soundtrack, I've been wondering. And that guitar music sound right up his alley.
I really hope they edit this baby right, because it's a much more subtle movie and the ending needs to hit at just the right note for that big impact. Was worried the madness this summer would affect his 'acting' as well.

It looks great, I think he's gonna stun with his range, this just might be the film that will show he's too bloody good and charismatic to be typecast. He has one of "those" faces that just steals the attention of the audience on screen, you have to look at him.A natural born movie star. And he's good. And he'll grow to be better. And he's as handsome as hell.
When you add that to his personality, charm, intelligence, charisma... it seems so rare these days to have guys like him - talented in so many ways, nice and kind, smart, well-bred AND -read, funny, who look like THAT and still remain down-to-earth and humble.
So when somebody ask me "What do you see in this guy?!" I can't decide what to do : say to them "open your eyes", "have you been living under a goddamn rock?" or just "fuck off, you witless dick."

I effing cried at the damn trailer. What the hell is wrong with me? lol First of all, its is said that the audience will need boxes of tissues with this one. Really? I think the movie itself will kill me with the subject matter but Rob.. i am speechless! He is going to be AMAZING in this role! And i have to say that he is breathtaking and heartbreakingly beautiful.. it actually pained my heart and made me cry! Oh Lord i am waaaay too emotional for this trailer today! LOL

Okay, I don't know anything about Emilie and her previous work. But may I say that I'm soooo glad to actually see Rob oposite a woman who doesn't look as childlike as Kristen always does? Rob doesn't look like a little boy (for me he's so manly it's almost hard to handle :o) so it's much more adequate to see him kiss someone on the screen, who doesn't look like a little girl.
(Don't get me wrong, of course, this is all about the looks. As I said, I don't know Emilie and I still haven't seen Kristen in NM - in TW she sucked though.)
Can't hardly imagine what it will do to me to actually see him portray a character making out with a mature, full-blodded woman.

OMG!!! this movie looks really good!! im so in awe! Rob looks really amazing in this movie a very different role for him but it really fits. Im going to enjoy this movie when it comes out!

I'm speechless. The trailer looks amazing, and even though I don't know much about the story I have this weird feeling that it will be heartbreaking.
I think that this might just be the best role Rob ever played, and only from the trailer I can say it will do great things for his career. Is not that I don't like him as Edward, or Cedric but all the roles he had played until now have been of fantasy characters or really weird ones like Art or Dali. Tyler's character though looks so real. I am really excited about this movie. I would love to see it but the sad part is that here in Romania no one bought the rights to distribute it, yet.
so im leaving in february to travel in southeast asia for a few months. originally, when the release date was in feb, i was still going to be in the states to see it, but they pushed it back to march and that is soooo sad for me. im considering pushing the trip back so i can remember me before i leave. jk. sort of. but seriously im so disappointed that ill have to wait for it to come out on dvd. i know i sound like a brat since backpacking in southeast asia in an amazing opportunity. i wish i could take rob with me.

What a great treat it was to see our Rob with some real actors! Cooper and Brosnan are solid anchors for this film... although I'm surprised that the actress playing his Mom didn't make it into the trailer. (can't think of her name right now.)
I for one am glad to see him being romantic with ANYONE other than KS!! Maybe we'll actually get to see if he has any REAL kissing skills (or at least ACT like he does- LOL!) If we actually get to see something a bit more sexy... I will def explode! (Quietly and intensely explode, like when the kids are in the next room and you HAVE to be quiet!!!)
BTW... I knew he would not make People's SMA cover. just knew it.

I know I've seen some movies... thought they were "meh" and then the next time you see the trailer... you realize it was the best part of the film? Sooooo not hoping to go there.
I think this film may do a lot more for Rob's career than any of this Twilight shizz. Personally, I also have high hopes for his gig with Hugh Jackman. I will probably have to see that one alone, with medicatin... otherwise, I'll be way in the back, in the corner doing a Dali "solo" number... while I stare wistfully at the screen.

WOW - that's great to see him doing something different! He said somewhere that Tyler was one of the closest characters to himself that he's ever played. Pretty cool.

Holy crap I can't stop watching this trailer. Robler owns me. OWNS ME. Dammit, he's so hot. I think I've wasted about an hour today watching this thing over and over. DAMMIT ROB IF I DON'T FINISH MY MASTERS DEGREE IT'S YOUR FAULT.
I'm so happy for Rob that he seems to be making all the right moves for his career (and hopefully, the people around him are taking good care of him in this regard, including Summit). He's at such great heights of popularity that it's easy for things to fall apart. I've often thought so (and he himself has mentioned in interviews) that he's still learning how to act and this trailer gives me a lot of hope for the improvement I'm seeing in his acting! Yes, Rob is more than just a pretty face and that's why we love him, but I've always thought this strengths lie most in his sense of humor, his intellect, his musical skills rather than acting. I'm glad he found a venue to pursue this further. The trailer hints of a film that moves, emotional but not cloying, deep but doesn't pull you down. I look forward to seeing this movie (and Kristen in the Runaways).
OMG!! Definitely more excited for RM then NM! Iloved NM but to see Rob play a character like Tyler is going to blow me away. 2010 will be such an awesome Rob year, just the thought of Rob in Bel Ami make me crazy lol! If there is one really good thing to come out of Robs intense popularity and appeal is if it gives him the power of choice and influence on the projects that he wants to do. I would love nothing more that to see him play roles in movies or music that HE is passionate about. Win Win really!

OMFG!!!! I know so many people have said this already but i'll go ahead and say it again....I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!! Just from watching the trailer i can tell that this will be my favorite Rob movie. I love his accent...its husky and sexy lol :) BTW, at the end of the trailer does he say: "Someone's been trying to tell me something: Make HER(?) yours forever...I'm working on the forever part."
