Ryan is talking about it right now on the show. I can't believe the woman shut down the interview after he asked the Kirsten Stewart question. Rob seemed so freaking embarrassed she did that.

Frankly I'm surprised Rob gave him the time of day after the nasty things this bloke has been saying about him. Rob as always a gentleman.
Ryan Seacrest is a jerk. He wanted to cause a problem. He and all other jounalists were told no personal questions. Seacrest thinks nothing applies to him. He thinks he can do whatever he wants. I used to listen to him until I realized what a mean, petty little man he is. He's now praising Rob, but last year was saying crap about him.
He's a douche, I'm sure Rob knows that by now. He tries to sneakily word the question in a way that doesn't sound like he's flat out asking about it - you can tell because of the way he said "What do you tell to your FANS who are desperate to know..." instead of directly asking what he just wants to in hopes of some kind of response that will make him the famous source of the final truth or some shit. Also asshat, I'm a fan and I'm not desperate or anywhere near it to know who Rob's lovelady is, if he even has one. Not all fans give a crap so stop making it sound that way.

I'm more concern about the the bad review new moon is having here in france. I just read 3 review, le parisien , le monde and they're all bad. Saying some sequence 're kitch. I really want to see it tomorow with my friends and boyfriend and he's really into good independant movie so i'm scared he's going to no to the movie if the reviews are all bad. God I need help just one good review please.
Okey, I listen Ryan a lot, and I have to say, it's only once I heard him saying something negative about Rob, and it happened long time ago - obviously that he changed his mind since then, because lately (not only today, after this interview) he was absolutely respectful and complimentary about Rob. And his question was respectful as well - he didn't ask him if they are dating or sleeping together, he just asked what he can say about her. By the way, Ryan talked about him on his radio show, said many positive things, and in this video Rob was very friendly with him. Even if they had some animosity, it's obviously in the past. And this rep's attitude was very rude. And the funniest thing is that some woman called to Ryan's show and told the story about this woman being rude to her daughter on the premiere.
All media are out of line asking any actor about their LIFE when they're promoting their FILM.
I don't know Ryan Seacrest here in France but what is sure is that there is no way anybody is gonna cross the line with private questions and I am surprisingly happy the women with him cut off the interview because of that! It's her job and she did it well!
We will get no answer to this question anyway... What dissapointed me the most about this Premiere is that I was expecting all the cast on the red carpet for some kind of family picture! Maybe too naive...

You know what I don't give a damn about Ryan or any movie reviews because I can almost bet the reviews will be bad; they always are whenever something this big comes along, and is this popular with fans.
So I say piss on the critics!!! I'm just going to enjoy the hell out of the movie, and the actors performances.
Critics only influence other critics and the Oscars, they don't influence how well a movie does at the box office, or how entertaining it is to the fans.

Considering the source material (the twilight saga is cheesy, but cheesy can be nice too...), it might simply not be your boyfriend's cup of tea.
I'm affraid that the numerous shirtless scenes will be a bit too numerous (even if they are in the book, I know, but when you read, you don't really pay attention to it). Apart from that, I expect entertainment, but not an oscar worthy movie ^_^
Rob, Kristen and Taylor you guys and the rest of the cast are great!!! The movie will be a huge success and the fans will only increase in numbers as the guys catch onto the action!!!
People are calling Ryan a jerk but let's admit that the woman was very rude here from the beginning. Rob is a big boy, and has been doing 5000 thousand interviews I'm sure he would have found a clever way to answer that question. I don't think there was a need to grab him and get him out of the room.
Well, Ryan was doing his job in trying to get the scoop (as annoying as it is). I'm glad to see that Rob handled himself well, I'm sure he'd have found a way out even without the woman interrupting.
But the woman had signalled that they only had 2 min from the beginning.
It's a shame that the red carpet did not simply last a bit longer, so that the interviewers could have asked more than 2 questions.

I totally agree with Didiette. I am sorry-why do the stars do a promo tour or the Red Carpet if they get to choose the questions asked? Most people would die for the attention that Rob and the other stars of New Moon are getting. I do think though, it is a good idea to have a designated "bitch" do the dirty work rather than a sullen star refusing to answer a question. And Rob's answer, "See New Moon" sort of said it all!!!!!! That's the bit of my life you get to question!~

Journalists don’t have to listen to the publicists as said above. I’m actually well surprised that RS pumped the question, with KStew’s dad being the producer of his show. It actually shows someone who has the balls to do it since all the interviewers in Hollywood seem so impressed with Rob that they only want to be his friends and not be cut out.
And the blond lady is just the worst publicist I’ve ever seen, judging by her bitchy attitude since the beginning. Cause it’s a reflection of the sate of mind of people surrounding Rob, and it consequently throws a negative light on him. Cause she’s working for him.
And believe me, I really like Rob and I’m aware that he needs some space and a private life. And also I don’t really know this RS guy since I’m not living in the States. But, professionally he was right and the publicist was just impossible.

Minuit passé, Kristen dad is not seacrest's boss. He works for some stuff with them but not all the time. He also works last year for the oscar or for kimmel show.
Is true that journalist don't have to listen to the PR. Is also true that this question is not relevant for new moon , is a private matter. So the PR can tell his client to not andswer. this is not journalism this is peopolisaration. So as an actor you have the right to say stop when you feel that the question you have been asked is not related to your work.
Also this is a red carpet event not an interview, so they can't spend that much time with each reporters.
Ryan Seacrest a professional? Of a sort. He chose to spend his time with Rob asking the one question he knows will get the 'pull it' reaction. Which is why he did it. Fodder and ratings.

I think i'm just going to try something else maybe a couple of picture of sexy Kristen with her short dress for the europe tour and her interview. That woman was way out of line and instead of letting Rob handle it she jumped in behaving like a raving banshee and letting Rob look really bad.
Rob could have said "I dont answer the question. Next!" and if he would have insisted on asking THEN the woman could have jumped in and said "times up!". No fuss, no argument and no scene.
Just shows that some people cant keep their shit together while in a stressful situation but choose to flip out and behave in a very unprofessional way.

Ok. I gotta comment on this. First off, yes, the woman was rude-and she looked like the wicked witch of the west-LOL. However, Secrest asked for it-and the fact that he got dissed was hilarious! He's cocky, arrogant, and should have known better. I'm sure the press were told no personal questions. Besides, again, he should know you NEVER ask personal questions at a premiere! At those things it's ALL about the movie. It's in poor form to ask about anything else. What an idiot. I'm sorry for those who may disagree, but I think he asked for it. I'm sorry for Rob though-what an uncomfortable moment. Sheesh! He handled it as delcately and nicely as he could though. Good for him for that. Maybe now the press will leave the Robsten thing alone for a while. Yeah right. As if. LOL!

Okay honestly this whole robsten thing is getting so ridiculous, and now I feel that Summit are trying to add to the ridiculousness by not letting Robert talk about it. Robert used to answer this question very well with his sense of humor and honesty.
But now it seems to me that they are trying to play up the robsten card by not letting Robert answer the question anymore. When they start to make a big deal out of it, other people will too.
And please don't tell me it is an invasive question because it isn't, it's not like he was asking him for details of the relationship (if there is one, which I don't believe there is). And Robert used to have no problem answering this question (denying it and brushing it off with his sense of humor). But now it seems to me that Kristen is rubbing off on him in a bad way. And I think that the studio is pushing it this way as well, to keep the rumors going. And it is really starting to annoy me.
I know that Robert especially would never play silly games, but it seems like he is being pressured into it. I'm beginning to think that it is all a marketing ploy and since Robert and Kristen aren't romantically together, they are pressuring Robert to stay mum about it so that the rumors can go on, so that the movie will get more attention.
Only I don't think that those rumors help the movie at all, as a matter of fact they detract from it. And there are those of us who don't give a crapsten about this stupid issue, and they're really starting to get on my nerves by not letting Robert be himself.

I can understand Rob's people "handling" the situation. The focus is New Moon - you're selling the movie, not the tabloid fodder about the co-stars. It's a thin line to walk but it looked to me like Rob was also sending out flares, so to speak, to his publicist and manager. Ryan should know better frankly!

That woman who is a Summit(obviously) employee has to watch out for interviewers such as Seacrest did her job and quite marvelously I should say. IF Seacrest can do what he did ask away even though told NOT TO DO, that lady CAN ALSO do what she did, interrupt him.

We all know journalists/interviewers/gossip columnists always have the edge because can publish, and write and talk, and start gossips and such and say bad about stars . . . so I don't blame that woman at all for doing her job.

I always notice him now. Especially in the recent tidal wave of promo Rob's been doing - I always look to see Nick and Rob's bodyguard and wonder what they're thinking....the most invisible men in the world, stand next to Rob and you're bound to disappear.
Exactly Ruchi, this proves that while he has no qualms about answering the question, he is being pressured into staying silent about it. I repeat by making a big deal out of this issue, the media and other people will too. So now I am convinced that it is all a marketing ploy and that Robert is being pressured into it, because they want the stupid robsten rumors to keep going.
And I believe one thing, if he was romantically involved with Kristen, he wouldn't play juvenile silly games about it (it's just not him). And he's been very cool with this question for a long time (and with his attitude he really downplayed and showed the stupidity of the robsten rumors). And now all of a sudden he gets pressured into keeping quiet so that the rumors can be fueled more, ugh.
And even if he didn't answer the question, if she had just let him say "no comment" his way. He would have said it coolly and brush it off, hence completely downplaying the question in his honest/witty way without having to give an answer. But this woman's rude reaction only served to make this interview a stupid headline!
That is why I am convinced now that it is all a marketing ploy, and they want to milk the robsten rumors for all the attention, and poor Robert is caught in the middle.
I just hope that their marketing stupidity does not end up reflecting badly on him. But I don’t think it will. He will get away from their clutches soon enough.
I don't know how the things work when you're promoting a film...I understand that personal questions are not allowed, but I did not like the reaction of the woman with the "let's go! let's go!". I mean, she should simply remind the rules and ask Ryan for a different question instead of create embarassement. and, after all, the question about Kris wasn't too much personal, because Rob could have just answered saying stuff like: we work really well together. period. but he has been cut off.

If this is a marketing ploy, than Summit is indeed the dumbest studio in history. When your two actors are basically overshadowing the actual franchise they head, that's a problem. That puts them in a position of power, and the studio in a more vulnerable position.
Summit loves free publicity, but it's not even about publicity anymore with "Robsten"--it's like taken on it's own entity and is turning the movie into a secondary interest.
Robert ain't in this movie much--Taylor is. No studio would want Taylor to look like the third wheel throughout the ENTIRE promotional blitz, when New Moon must earn it's box office on his shoulders as a viable romantic lead at the mere age of 17.
Trust--"Robsten" and all the effery around that entity is undermining New Moon and Taylor. Not Robert and Kristen mind you, but the sheer frenzy around them by fans who are more interested in them than they should be. lol

I am aware of the relations between producers and people who are creating a show or just presenting one. And you want to get along with these people, since your’re usually friends with them or just partners.
I understand your position on “peoplesation” vs journalism especially because you’re French but I don’t think it applies to this situation. It is sooooooo different.
This is Hollywood not France and people have a completely different approach to it. And also cause when you see a journalist you pretty much know what to expect if you know the show he/she is doing. RS is asking personal questions he’s doing entertainment not highly intellectual culture. Also let’s face it, New Moon isn’t exactly the most intellectual film of the year.
Agree with you on actors’ right not to answer questions they’re not comfortable with and on preserving their private life but I also sustain the journalist’s/reporter’s/presenter’s right to ask the question that seem interesting to them.
And once again there’s no excuse in my opinion for the lack of professionalism and bitching of the so called PR (it’s because of people like her there are so many stereotypes in this profession). I am so with Ryan on this thing.
And most imp. a PR’s attitude reflects his client state of mind, and I’m not sure that’s good publicity for Rob.

I'm really aware that hollywood is not france but believe it or not paparazzy here or some journalist 're just as crasy.
What i was trying to say is, when you're an actor you have to choose a patern. some actors like to share their private life with public others don't. Since Rob is quite new in this world is time for him to choose in which categorie he wants to belong.
For what i see from him, he would rather speak about the movie, his vision of his works than about his relationship. Which for me is a good think if he wants to be take seriously in the future.
I agree with you that this wasn't delicate with her interruption but she was watching her clock during this and she also try to cut him of before he pops of the question.
Seacrest is also Known for whinning everytime a star doesn't want to be inteview. Thisis just a little incident which has been blown out of proportion like everything twilight related. He did this because he knew very well that if he asked about the fiend, everyone will talk about it. So for me he was great at it.

That lady is not his agent - she's like the ring-leader of the red carpet. She has to make sure Rob talks to every reporter. She started to cut Ryan Seacrest short BEFORE he even asked that question. If you watch other interviews, you'll hear her in the background yelling to end interviews. This had NOTHING to do with Robsten.

Yeah, my first reaction to the headline was "what publicist? Rob said he doesn't have one because he doesn't want someone telling him what to do or say". Then in general, I am so sick of the whole... are they, arent' they... it's ridiculous. And I'm wondering, if Kristen is such a private person like she claims, why was she so open with her relationship with Michael Angarano? She never hid that one, as recent as last spring in Vancouver, hugging him, riding piggy-back, all in plain view of the paparazzi. Well either way, if they are together, it's gonna come out, they're not going to be filming together any time soon, so it's going to be tougher to hide, she's going to have to follow him to his other filming projects or even home to England next month. And really, what type of relationship can you have if you're in constant hiding? The stress will eventually tear them apart.
What we need to remember is that Robert Pattinson is still green. He is very new in this type of madness . . . he tends to answer all questions honestly and does not give a thought about lying or about evading questions. He is a baby in the hands of the likes of media pros like Seacrest and the very ambitious or the very malicious movie star reporters.
That lady was there to watch for Robert . . . there are a lot of sharks out there and Robert seems always willing to give his hand to be bitten. That lady is a shark killer!! Good for her! Notice how Seacrest was just starting the question and she was already shaking her head . . . she is SHARP.
I know we all want Rob & Kristen admit they are an item. But hey, given all the circus around them, I WANT them to decide IF and When they want to, not when WE want to.
Ok that was out of line what his publicist did. Rob's right there and he's an adult and I'm sure he's perfectly capable of answering that question by himself! Yeah I would be embarrassed too. I don't like Ryan but I think this could have been handled better. His publicist, whoever that is seems very impatient. I saw another clip where she was practically snapping at people including Rob.
i don't give a damn about robsten, Summit, Ryan, the woman...(by the way, does PR mean PRoduction??) i just want to say that i really feel that Rob looks like a marionette, i mean, it's like he isn't free, he has to do what they tell him. puff...it's horrible
and i repeat, i'm not only referring to the robsten question in this interview, it's always the same "you have two questions", "don't answer that", "look here", "come here"...i think they treat rob like a puppet to obey their interests.
what i meant to say is that i think rob (and kristen) is intelligent enough to know what kind of questions he has (or want) to answer or not
That's Hollywood i'm afraid. It happens to all actors. We just notice it more because it's happening to someone we follow.
On the red carpet compared to the other New Moon actors Rob, Kristen & Taylor had the biggest entourage. Whether it be bodyguards, managers,publicists, you name it.They were surrounded.
Pushed and pulled to all angles.
In one video of Kristen signing autographs for fans her handler actually took the pen out of her had and instructed her to pose for the paps.Kristen's face was a WTF!! moment.
Rob & Taylor were also pulled away from fans.
Unfortunately that's their life now.
ummm Ryan did ask last year "can you see yourself falling in love with kristen Stewart?"
Rob's answer "Oh absolutley"
that woman was most definatley a summit person, and after the "hand holding incident" Summit is probably all over those two, grrr leave them be!
OMG! I just worked up to courage to watch this interview, suspecting I would be second hand embarressed, judging by all the reactions (or should I say over reactions) But I didn't see any drama there (only here) Infact I found it rather entertaining see RS getting put in his place a little haha!
I just wish I could ask you all to stop (nicely of course) because it's this dramatic reaction that corses the tabloid rubbish to start with.
All I care about is the great movie we are about to see with this wonderfully talented cast. I'm pretty sure Rob thought this was hilarious. Chill lovelys :)
I really think that they're making it worse by avoiding the question like that. It's so stupid: Like the things Kristen said in that HB-Interview... That she would have answered the question if people wouldn't make such a big deal out of it...that she couldn't answer it because people would be so judgemental. Actually that was more or less a (dumb) way to confirm a relationship between her and Rob (without wanting to). 'Cause what would there be for people to make a big deal or be judgemental about if Kris&Rob were really just friends? Nothing! In fact SHE and their management are the ones making a huge deal out of it with saying cryptic things like that! Can't they see that they make it look like an even bigger secret to everyone and that they're doing nothing but making people more curious?! Or is that actually what the management wants?!
How much could a shabby paparazzi possibly earn with a picture of Rob&Kristen holding hands if they had already made a clear statement and would just show that they're a couple in a normal, everyday way?! That way it would just become boring for the press and fans. But no, they have to make it such a big secret, even although there are all these evidences by now... that's the only reason they're hunted so badly. They should have just answered those questions in a simple way once and for all! Like "Yes, we are dating - so what?!" or "No, we are nothing but good friends" from both of them ('cause Rob never really said that).
But anyway, I love what Rob says about wanting to please everyone of the fans as good as he can because he knows that the little things he can do mean so much to them! He's even nervous about pleasing everyone of them... That's so sweet. And it was actually my impression of him when I saw him at the red carpet in London last week. He looked so happy when the reporters released him and he could finally go to the fans... he nearly gave everyone an autograph, was smiling all the time, talking to people, shaking hands and taking pictures as long as he could. While Taylor couldn't get back to the press fast enough after writing a few, quick autographs and letting the rest of his fans down. You just gotta love Rob!

Okay Paulette, I know I said I wouldn't reply to you, but I think you should know one thing I like Kristen. I wouldn't call myself a fan, but I don't dislike her at all. What I meant was that it seems like he is being told to follow Kristen's "no comment" attitude. And yes that's not Kristen's fault, probably the studio, I should have worded that better. Robert was doing so well before, he doesn't need coaching.
But for argument's sake, even if I didn't like Kristen I should be able to post my honest opinion without having to expect personal insults about it.
And what should we call those who resort of personal insults because someone might not fawn over their favorite actor or actress?
Second I don't think anyone here is analyzing every word of Robert or Kristen, we are simply commenting on what we see happening in this interview.

Reply: this comment made me sad. I hope not, I hope that they will let him speak freely as before. I hope that he won't ever let fame get to his head, and that he will remain honest and down to earth (that's why I like him). I hope that they will leave him be to answer the questions as he pleases.
That lady was rude in almost every clip you see him in from last night. It is one thing to do your job it is another to just be rude. Rob should really look into someone with a bit more class.
OK-I'm back! Please. I don't care who the woman works for, it was obviously her job to look out for Rob and help shield him from such inappropriate questions. Again-he was there promoting the movie. Also, Ryan should have NEVER asked that at the premiere. Not good timing. That was bad judgement on his part. Yes, the woman was hardcore, but she may have been told to nipe that stuff in the bud-and everyone knows how Rob is-LOL. He can't keep anything much to himself-he's sometimes TOO open and honest. Kristin has even said that, as have others that nwo him well now. Just saying. In any case, this is nothing to get so worked up about. The premiere as a whole was an unqualified success, and so that's all that matters.

Can we get back to ogling Rob now and talking about how charming, intelligent and down-to-earth he is?

Just watched Taylor's and KStew's interviews with Ryan S. and everything was cool. And they both spent more time with him, knowing that they were doing the same interviews. Taylor came in and hug the girl at the door whom Rob knew since last year. But since Rob is always being told by Nick +now by the publicist that he has to do things quickly, he entered the box in a hurry, didn't even see the girl with whom he has been playing Guitar hero last year (OK that can happen to everyone, star or not star) and his staff was all stressed out since the beginning. Watch Taylor and Kristen's publicists how they are cool and say hello when they come in. So these people kind of put Rob in the position of the too famous guy to have time to say hello. Look at the girl's face at the end. He handled the question great though.

Seacrest is no better than the vermin paparazzi. That's a shame too because he has such a great career that he doesn't have to resort to this kind of journalism. He did the same thing to Brad and Angie on the red carpet. Once. The next red carpet Seacrest was hopping mad to get to them and Angie slid right on by. Rob and Kristen are promoting their FILM, not their LIFE and the media should keep the two separate. Let them be.

Don't think RS isn't the same jealous prick who made a rude comment about Rob being boring - he's just figured out Rob isn't going anywhere and Ryan makes himself looks stupid putting Rob down.
Well I don't know if people are still commenting about this. I'm just a visitor and a fan of both Rob and Kristen together or not.
Maybe it wasn't the right time and place at the Red Carpet, but I thought Ryan asked the question that's on a lot of people's minds.
Do most people on this site believe RK really are not together? Because I see so much evidence that points to them being together.
And it's the elephant in the room. It's kind of sad that their personal life sometimes overshadows the film, but Rob and Kristen have created this mystery and situation by being together publicly but not addressing their status.
So when people like Ryan Seacrest ask the most obvious question on a lot of people's minds, he should not be labeled a 'douche.'
And I'm not even a fan of Ryan Seacrest!
