(Beginning)He says that before filming Twilight, he was going to give up acting cause he didn't find any job. He didn't get the roles because he wasn't famous enough. (2:21)There's a real depth in the books that's why people are so fond of them. They get really attached to them. (4:05) I was really frustrated by the industry cause I didn't have the roles I wanted. I felt like I was a puppet. It has really changed since I did the Twilight movies. (4:38)I feel like it's my job to make them scream. It's always like that. See? (5:00) The irony in all of this is I've never been like that. When I was younger, I couldn't get a girlfriend. Now, it's the opposite.
As princess zeni, I'm French and the dubbing is plain awful.
I'm French and I must admit that I didn't watch the French TV programms on Rob. The first reason is that they are not interesting at all. French journalists talk too much and dub over his voice instead of putting sub-titles... Annoying ! But the average French public doesn't speak English to start with...
Yeah, I know...Though it's not any excuse, pleas etake into consideration that English is not our native language, and that a lot of French people are really not familiar with it unfortunately, but I can say that it has much improved other the years...French TV always dub over foreign actors as they want to get at everyone, and have the highest audience possible.
Sorry for the inconvenience,
anyways, leaving in Italy, I can say that the English situation there is even worst!!!
The whole reportage is not really interesting telling the story of how Stephanie Meyer first came up with the idea of the story, then sold the franchise to cinema to make movies out of the books, and how the film has created stars. It also says that Twilight (the film) has so much success due to 1. the story (romantic and dangerous at the same time) and 2. Robert Pattinson. They are comparing him to Leo Di Caprio and Johny Deep. They also are talking about the frenziness around Rob and why the 2nd opus is so much awaited. Hope it helps, but Jen already has translated what Rob said.
Yes, thank you for the translations, particularly of the journalists as they spoke a little fast for me. I believe there were some interviews that were not dubbed, but subtitled. That is much easier. No echo effect. :)
