Some people have been debating whether Rob would want the title. Judging from yesterday's interviews, it seems that Rob deep down still wants his heartthrob title (they way he describes about Taylor) and we know our guys has an erratic ego, hahaha.
I know Lainey acknowledge that SMA is Rob's to lose, but she would bet her own money on Bradley Coopers.

I don't think I like Rob in black...he is better in the blues and grays. It's too harsh for him. I think that is what is bugging me about these recent photos. Now the Vanity Fair pics....mighty fine!
Age shouldn't matter. Rob deserves it. There isn't anyone as high up on the radar but Rob right now. People would be stupid to pick anyone else, esp. if they want to sell magazines.

That was nice seeing Emile Hirsch in there :) I'm not sure if they'll pick Rob - they always seem to go with someone older - ya know? This is a wild guess, but possibly Robert Downey Jr. He has Sherlock Holmes and Iron Man 2 coming out so he'll be up for the publicity.

I'm not sure that he really needs that right now... would it add to the fuel of his haters? Would he even really want that?
I believe that while he might be affraid of an early demise (as a backlash tot he hype), he might not really know how to bear such a "title" (even if it's quite similar to the teen choice hottie he got this year contentwise, it gets more exposure).
Then again, good for him if he gets it (the fans will rejoice), and good for him if he doesn't as well (no need for overexposure)~
