Today, we bring you the fruits of his labor—an exclusive sneak peek at the movie due out on DVD November 17.
In the film Rob plays a down-on-his-luck musician named Art, who after being dumped by his girlfriend, moves back in with his parents and hires a live-in self-help guru to cure his social awkwardness. The process is quite a vulnerable one as you'd expect, evidenced perfectly by this clip in which Art's oddball friend Nikki (Mike Pearce) invites a couple of girls over to help his glum mate forget about his ex. Nikki's one piece of advice to Art? "Don't be yourself." We're not sure who Art attempted to be in this scene, but it's certainly not our favorite dazzling vamp. Edward would never drop such a sad, pathetic (and sort of gross) pick-up line. Click play on the clip below to see Rob clear the room with his misguided attempt at romance.

I can't see this video but it has to be the "I've got an erection" scene!!
I squeeeeeed when he said that.. I would of jumped his bones right there!
Love Robart!
Yeap, it is the erection scene. Poor Robart. So lost.
So sad but funny. Aww, poor RobArt. I just want to give him a hug. He was trying so hard to fit in.
I love this scene hahaha. Mike Pearce really steals this movie if you ask me. It's just the way Rob's character is anyway - even though he's the "main" character he's kinda pushed in the background and his friends often steal the spotlight but that's what I love about this movie. The dynamic of the three of them.. is great.
GET THIS MOVIE YOU GUYS!!! I don't understand how some people say it sucks. They're prob just subconsciously pretentiously so because they're hatin on ROB!(WHICH AGAIN, IS NOT WHAT THE WHOLE MOVIE IS ABOUT. It's not the Rob Pattinson show.)
oh God that is sooo funny! He can do comedy, I don't know why he thinks he can't!
Robart = WIN, can't wait until my box from amazon arrives. :)
Me too RPL, me too.
I'm sure I will watch it over and over.
ADM, I'm almost not sure what I'm looking foward to more, the movie, or the dvd extras! I'm probably going to wear it out, should have ordered 2, damn. :))
RPL, hope there are extras we have not seen, yet. I'm sure I will wear my DVD out. :)
I got the UK version (because I couldnt wait hehe) even though Im in the US. Wondering if the US version will have diff stuff? I wouldn't think so. Anyway, if it has the same stuff, the extended scenes at the pub are HILARIOUS!
I don't know if the US version will have anything different, but one day I was saying that I hoped there would be extras, and Kate said that she read there were a lot of them. So, yay! It's some of my favorite video of him, he's totally relaxed and in cuddle-mode!
Even if it's nothing new, I will watch repeatedly and love every minute! :)
I've said this at least 20 times, but I Love everything about this movie... watching it on a big screen is a must. You can really climb inside everyone's head and forget where you are for awhile. At least this was my experience.
hahahaha omg this scene...makes me laugh everytime.
"..get's denied by a girl.." ?? That's as awkward a phrase as any Art might say. Well, to be fair, I guess they couldn't headline "Robert Pattinson says he has an erection and everyone leaves the room..." lol
I can assure you if he said that to me, it would get a totally different response. Poor RobArt!
