Gossip Cop had eyes and ears at tapings of “Ellen” today, where Kellan Lutz and Robert Pattinson charmed the audience in back-to-back appearances. Here’s what we found out:
Lutz taped his episode first, and it airs tomorrow (Wednesday). DeGeneres offered him $5,000 to charity for him to remove his shirt. We won’t spoil whether he agreed to the offer – you’ll have to watch tomorrow.
Pattinson’s parents and sisters were in the audience for his taping, which airs on Friday. He told DeGeneres he was proud of his body for the first time in his life when he watched “New Moon.”
Apparently he isn’t the only one feeling comfortable these days.
Pattinson revealed to DeGeneres that a woman in a crowd had asked him how she could get his attention, and he jokingly suggested she could get naked.
And she did.
Forget Edward Cullen. It’s Robert Pattinson whose powers are superhuman.

First of all I love Rob and can't wait to see him on Ellen.
But I just had to share the amazing talant that is Sam Bradley. He was in Boulder Colorado tonight and I was lucky enough to sit at stage right and see him perform live.
To top it off I got to meet him and talk with him. He spent about 5minutes with my family and I. He was very friendly.
I know you'll all be interested to know that he said he'd being recording his CD starting in January.
If you get the chance go and see him.You won't regret it.

The Daily Mail in the UK have printed their review of New Moon today - the critic gave it one star only and said it was awful.
Don't care, I just know I'll love it!

CaroleUK that reviewers pen is not the only one that will be dripping poison where this movie is concerned, unless it's gritty, grimy and earnest the it's not valid for them. I don't care either I'm also GOING TO LOVE IT!!!!!

Yes I've seen that this morning....but as tgill said this is obviously going to be the trend with the Twilight films. Knock something simply because it's successful....something which we brits seem to do exceedingly well. I'm a bit surprised actually that this bloke took this view because he gave Twilight last year a very good review...I've kept it in my scrapbook in fact and was very very complimentary about Rob and Kristin and Catherine Hardwicke. So looks like he's jumped on the old bashing bandwagon....pity...

Our radio reviewers will be commenting on it tomorrow, I can't wait, most of them will have more venom than a twilight vampire. Anyway if it rakes in as much money as Twilight, at least! do you think Summit will give a toss about the critics? To quote the great Laurence Olivier theatre is all about "bums on seats"!
i spent so much time on the net perving on Rob that my boyfriend think i am crazy. Anyway Rob is just too sexy. Absolutely love him. Did anyone hear the story about Kellan saying that he was the first choice as Edward? Kellan is so beefy and has no personality. He is desperate for publicity so uses this line to get attention. Rob's the best and oh so gorgeous.

You're absolutely right...I was thinking about the 'bums on seats' thing as I was doing the vacuuming..(very half-heartedly I must say!) And yes....it IS all about making money when all is said and done. What does concern me though is how other actors/directors would see the viability of working with Rob if he's involved in films that get duff reviews. THAT worries me...I want him to be around a long time...
Yeah i want Rob to be here a long time as well. People think that Rob only get teenage fan well i am 30 and think Rob is the best thing since slice bread (beside my boyfriend). I think he will have a long career because he reminded me of actors like Paul Newman and James Dean. He had that something special that other actors of his age don't.
Oh ...just been on the IMBD and they've got the Daily Telegraph review of New Moon.....interesting...not absolutely bloody awful and absolutely brilliant but nothing negative about Rob thank Goodness. The reviewer makes a point of saying that the middle part of the film (Edward's absence) makes it seem like 3 hours! So a compliment of sorts....
lizzibee, a huge chunk of the audience for NM is going to see it primarily for Rob, if he delivers that audience for RM, and it is the same demographic that made over 400million for SATC, then studios will be falling over themselves to work with him, he really hasn't had a chance to shine yet outside the Twilight saga hopefully that will change next March
Yes...the Twilight stuff is a bit of a difficult vehicle to showcase his acting abilities really....I think the best is yet to come. I'm not criticising Twilight ......it was entertaining and at the end of the day that's what Hollywood is all about isn't it?
So I understand he was around the girl for enough time to see that she got naked. What, I thought he was busy doing a lot of stuff and not having too much time to spend in the same place.
The critique is very bad for NM in France also, but it doesn't surprise me. I'm only in for Rob, don't care at all about the saga.
I think it is very sad that so much love and effort was put into this movie, all the actors think it's wonderful and loved CW and then to get panned like this. Apart from Rob I think the critics have their knife into CW for The Golden Compass as they thought the book was butchered As regards NM I think they feel that because the books are so popular they are beneath them as only the great unwashed read them.
As a "housewife with an MBA" (to quote the Apprentice) I take great exception to some pompous git telling me what is good and what isn't I'll make my own mind up thank you! Sorry rant over
