I agree Dani, I think Rob makes things up as he goes along sometimes in these back-to-back interviews and who can blame him? I think it's a reaction to how ridiculous or cheesy some of the questions are or otherwise he'd be just repeating himself with the repetitive questions.
qiupang: I wonder if the piano on the beach was Rob's idea or if the VF photoshoot came to mind when he tried to provide an original answer to a question instead of the same-old same-old LOL. Either way, the pose is uber sexy...and makes a wonderful avi!

These are mostly info he provided in 2008 or early 2009.
He mentioned that piano "career" preference last year.

OMG, just talked to some twihards lined up for the premiere. Some flew from Australia just for the premiere and now they are sleeping on the street until Monday! They also blocked of some treets in Westwood(where the premiere is going to be) on Saturday night. Insanity!

i don't take literally most of what he says. i think since he does seem to be a very private person, if it was up to him.. he wouldn't be doing ANY interviews or talking about ANYTHING even relatively personal at all. i don't really find that idea attractive in a person, because i'm all about sharing and loving and being as genuine as i can without giving too much away, but whatever, i can understand and respect his stance if that's what it is. just kind of discouraging to see these more serious and tone-downed interviews lately.
Rob has EVERY reason in the world to be on top of the world confident and he still isn't.
If he really wants to make himself less attractive to us.....he should do movies that aren't love stories and have kissing and sex in them like all of his upcoming ones will have......he should shave his head and get FAT for a role ........or get married..........all of those things might help him lose a few fans......but Summit and other production companies won't hear of that - they want to make money off him and the sexy long haired Rob makes money - it's always about the money.
