From MTV.com:
"It would be the perfect role for me. That's kind of my dream thing to play a vampire. I always loved vampire movies, but I never had the right script. ... I had a lot of offers from different movies, but they weren't the right things. I think [a 'Twilight' film] would be the perfect movie. I don't know if I'm talented in those things, though. I never tried it. We were in one movie when we were 6 years old, and it was not really good. Robert Pattinson is definitely a better actor than me."
-Tokio Hotel frontman Bill Kaulitz, discussing his cinematic aspirations. The singer told MTV News that he has often thought about exploring his undead, blood-sucking side. "I was at a Halloween party when I was really young, and I was a vampire," he said. "And then I started to wear makeup and stuff. That was the whole beginning. That was the whole story." The band is currently supporting their new album Humanoid, which features the hit single and video "Automatic."

I haven ever seen this guy. He certainly does look scary, and if someone were making a scary vampire movie, with traditional vampires, perhaps he would be the guy.
As for acting-- I hate the 'word' 'DUH' but... as far as I can see, Rob is a better actor than anyone I have seen of his generation or even the next older generation.
Solas hi
Agreed this guy is seriously scary can't really see him as Edward. On a different subject as a fellow Irish Robsessed which one of our "lovely" journalists wrote nasty things about Rob?
Who is this guy? And why?
I don't know, Tgill--I am in the States now. I sometimes get the Irish Times here, but haven't seen anything about it.
Do you buy the comment from the other night, that it is logical that an Irish journalist would comment nasty stuff about ROb simply because he is English? That seems just so beyond passe' to myself!
rpg--I am so glad I am not the only one who did not know who he was/is. thanks for being so reinforcing. :-)
It seems that many in the entertainment world are dropping Rob's name or using comparisons. On the one hand, I can see him being a new standard (albeit unachievable). On the other hand, to make him a new phrase in the English language, especially the media lexicon, is not necearily a good thing, unless the definition is clearly unambiguously good.
solas - Very well said. I totally agree.
I am the only one who thought this was a woman named Bill? Maybe I'm way out of it but I've never seen him before. Not quite right for Edward I think. lol
I'm not knocking him as I don't know anything about him but yeah...hmmm.

You know what they say about the Irish Alzheimers? "forget everything but a grudge" I could well believe that someone would be poisonous just because he is a Brit. Mind you the journalist could have a face like a bag of spanners and just be jealous!!!
Right Tgill; I am going for the jealousy, but sure I've seen ancient grudges alive and (arguably)well.
hrrmmm anytime I see this person I wonder if he is a boy or a girl... but well, personal style of choice, anyway.
I don´t know if celebs like to namedrop Rob´s name or if MTV has this think to get hits in every article they write, to ask the celeb interviewed about Twilight or Robert..
RPG- "and why?" LOL my thinking as well ;)
he does!!look like a vampire but kinda crack drunken vampire not twilight material in my opinion!!I hope I don't offend any1...tokio hotel is not my kind of music they're very popular in latinamerica but I find them to pop and comercial
thank god he knows what kind of talen he has
I just had to swallow back some vomit.
To everyone who doesnt knows this douche. Its the singer of a German boy band named Tokio Hotel. They annoy the HECK out of me with their crapy wannabe rockstar attitude and all that. Not to mention their music is total rubish.
Back in 2007 when they first appaeared here in Germany they triggered scream fests worthy of those last year on Robs Hot Topic tour.
They make crappy music and are only produced to get hold of 14 year olds pocket money. Yuck!
Don't hold your feelings back, there, Pandora;-)
I'm in heaven, both Bill and Rob on the same page!!! Please don't hate on Bill he is a super sweet guy!! He respects talent, look at the props he gave our Rob.
Love em both!!!
I was at their consert last weekend. He is so beautiful perfect skin, amazing eyes, nothing boyish on him though, I liked their performance. It was a full house.Actually they are one of Rob's favoutire bands. Aloha from Hell are more my kind but still I enjoyed their singing.
I'm sure it takes very little to be better actor than this guy. *I* could be a better actress... and wear better make-up! ;)
I have heard of Tokio Hotel before from Italian friends. Boys dispise them and some girls, too!
@Pandora: I think you hit the nail on the head :).
I vaguely remember Rob mentioning Tokio Hotel some time ago, but I was left with the feeling that something was not what it seemed, with that comment. Can't remember if it was because it was from some crap tabloid or because Rob meant it as a joke... or maybe because I'm biased...
Bill is pretty as hell. I've been looking at their recent post at "Oh No You Didn't" celeb gossip site. They were just in New York. Their music is alright. But his German accent is a bit thick to do any American movies. And his twin brother Ted is in the band too.His brother likes to wear his hair braided. They seem to be really sweet and cool kids. They've been in this band since they were 13 I believe and they just turned 20 or 21.
Bill Kaulitz is the leadsinger of the german band Tokio Hotel and they have a huge success in europe. even in the usa they have a bit of success now. 2008 they won the vma for best newcomer :)
Bill Kaulitz is a guy, although there are rumors he's gay, but he always says he's not. His twinbrother called Tom, not Ted. And yes, they're 20 years old, not little boys, they're famous in Europe and in the USA as well for almost 6 years.
BTW they're really one of Rob's fav bands, he already said once he could imagine that one of TH's songs will be a soundtrack in New Moon, i think he said Rescue Me.
I don't say love the guys, just don't judge until you don't know anything of them.
