Spike TV screamed for more New Moon — and they got it!
The 2009 Scream Awards, which honors the best fantasy and horror flicks, is airing more New Moon footage at the award ceremony and the full cast — including Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, will introduce the clip.
The Twi-cast is nominated for several awards at the ceremony including: Best Fantasy Film, Scream Song of the Year, and Best Supporting Actress for Ashley Greene. Start voting HERE!
The 2009 Scream Awards will premiere Tuesday, October 27 at 10 PM, ET/PT on Spike TV.

Ok. As much as I LOVE to see new Rob material, I'm not going to let myself get excited over this. I can't. The last award show they were at, we waited weeks and weeks, only to get 45 seconds of him. DrunkRob slurring is tops in my book, but, I don't want him there if he's not into it, ya know??
Of course, it would be nice to see SmilingRob again, even if it is just for the camera.
Hopefully they do more than just walk onstage for 45 seconds this time, to at least make it worth THEIR time.
I expect their appearances to be more visibly this time. They have to. They are nominated themselves so...

The thought of sitting through another horrible awards just to see, hear Rob makes me go UGH! But I will sacraficey ears once again because he's worth it.

They're taping it what, a week before it airs? I think they'll still be shooting Eclipse at that time
I hope they don't get heckled, this is a more male oriented faux awards show unlike the mtv movie awards, and a bunch of vengeful nerds might be there...
hopefully because they're actually nomitated for awards means that it makes more sense for them to be there, and we'll see more of him than at the VMA's...but I agree, NOT going to excited about it yet, I'll wait and see what happens.
and yeah, this isn't exactly a teen thing, hope they don't have to take any crap from haters!!
rosa - i agree with you. has anyone read some of the comments on the spike site. some are talking shit that anything twilight was even nominated. i am very surprised that they are going to be there. i think it's in LA. i wonder if they will be done shooting eclipse then or just flying in to do the show.
First..what the hell is the scream awards?? and second...is it important enough that Rob have to go? why they keep sending him to these stupid award shows?
and if they do go R/K, dont expect them to do red carpet or sit in the audience, judging by their routine R/K will probly be on stage for a few secs and thats it, leaving poor taylor to walk the red carpet and do interviews alone *Sigh*......sometimes a failed attempt at secrecy becomes a burden dont you think,
sometimes its best to allow the bird to fly free....and be unburden by the chains :-)
I was really hoping he wouldn't have to go to this because they don't seem very 'Twilight Friendly' and I echo ROSA'S fears. They don't actually finish filming Eclipse until 31st Oct so this must be putting a lot of pressure on David Slade to get it all completed on time.
Twilight really isn't a horror or sci-fi film, to me, even with vampires and shapeshifting boy2wolves. To me, at least, it is a lovestory; NewMoon is really a heartbreaking lovestory, and the vampire/wolf stuff just complicating accessories.
So I can understand why some don't feel it belongs in the horror/sci-fi categories. On the other hand, I think fantasy IS another of the categories, and if so, then, espcially after seeing the fantasies it has generated, Twilight DOES fit in.
IN any case, I hope Rob isn't shaken with screams, and ROb and Kristen are not mobbed, and all who want to see Rob will have a good calm look at himself.
I just checked, and Fantasy IS one of the categories. SO pthhhhhht to whomever at that award site didn't think Twilight belonged there.

The Scream Awards are being tapped Oct 17 at the Greek Theater in Griffith Park (LA).
I'm really tempted to drive over there after work but LA traffic terrifies me.
I am just 2 curious on what he is gonna wear. lol
Dam! I'm guna have to watch another award show. I've never watched so many freaken award shows in my life. MTV, VMA, what else was there? And now this. All so I can catch a glimpse of Rob.
