WHY WOULD he do his own stunts?? He's too valuable to Summit anyway... plus the stunt guys have 100s of broken bones. Look at Elizabeth Taylor: was incapacitated when young and suffered all her life. Better stay safe and healthy and let the stunt people earn their dough. Look at poor Shia with his mangled hand: he'll never be the same. I wouldn't let Rob OUT... let alone do any kind of stunt.
Well, it's just that some actors seem to enjoy doing their own stunts (and then they go on about it during promotion too LOL). But like most of you, I was under the impression that most actors take care of the acting, and that the stunts men are hired for a purpose.
From what was on the DVDs bonuses of twilight, Rob did a couple of "stunts" such as the running during baseball, or am I wrong? But thankfully, they did not rely on him for the driving and the big stuff, he doesn't seem that coordinate LOL~
Observation on Rob having the rep of not being athletic. For a guy who supposedly isn't, a lot of his roles involve physical stuff.
Goblet was full of wirework, running in the maze, working underwater, dropping out of trees. In Airman he had to do a lot of moving around without using his legs - not easy and needs upperbody strength. There was a lot of wirework in Twilight.
Not saying he's the world's biggest athlete, or always the most co-ordinated, lol, but I think he's a lot more capable than some give him credit. And either he likes the challenge or he's having to take a karmic path. :)

glad he's not doing the stunts, we don't need him hurt!
Ted C. is an asshat.
Rob also needs a stunt double to walk the streets. Can Summit do that too so that our boy can go out?
What a jackass! Who cares that Rob doesn't do his own stunts. Most actors don't. Besides Rob admits to it and has said that he's not athletic.
