Gossip Cop on Rumors Robert Pattinson Film Changed End
Rumors spread online today that Summit Entertainment has elected to change the ending to Robert Pattinson’s upcoming film, “Remember Me.” Gossip Cop does not want to spoil any plot points. But since the alleged alteration was lighting up message boards, we looked into it and asked a source inside Summit for comment.
We were assured by a rep that claims of a major change are “absolutely not true.”
If rumors persist and are further substantiated, we will do our best to clear up any confusion.

I made the mistake of reading the script.....BAD IDEA! I would have loved to see this movie without knowing the ending!! It would most definitely have suprised me!

I know the story and am glad I do, though I haven't read the script. I will be prepared with a large box of kleenex. Can't wait to see it though!
I do not mind reading the script and I would be VERY surprised if they did change the ending cos that ending is what sets this romantic drama apart from others. It would be too cheesy othewise IMO.
The story itself is really good and emotional but that ending is such a surprise it would be to some degree ruin the story if it was changed, as in it depends on HOW it would be changed. Still I am happy to see that GC debunked that rumor (which I had never heard untill I read this post hehe.)
I do believe some PARTS of the script may be changed but not the overal story or ending. Just lil details I guess...that always happen.
Dont mean to offend but i have to say...........Gossip Cop like any other gossip site go by these so called 'Sourses' so when did their Word become gospel?
should we not take their word with a grain of salt like we do the others?
or do folks trust their sourses more when they are saying what they want to hear and believe ?

They cannot change the ending! I read the script and as gut wrenching as it was, the ending is what is going to make this movie highly talked about. The fact that you don't see it coming and then go back and think about all that has happened is what makes this story great. As difficult as the topic is and I'm sure the images are going to be, I've never cried harder over anything in my life, the script is good just the way it is and I hope the movie sticks very close to it.
I personally don't want to know what happens until I see it in the theatre. That way, it'll have that much more impact on me. I already figured I'll have to bring the Kleenex.

The rumour appeared to come from someone posting over at IMDB. I think a lot of posters over there like to up the agitation factor and spread it around. GC at least has to check with a source that has some credibilty ie. an actor's rep, the production company. Otherwise they don't have cred. They are also in a position to name their source.
Even I wouldn’t post a designated rumour unless it’s a credible source close to origin. I just can’t name mine. So I have less cred. Lol Speculation, named as nothing but, is another matter.

I'm so sorry, apparently I have deleted the script for Remember Me as it is no where to be found in my email, sent or saved.
I know a few people that have it, so I'm asking for them to send it to me again. as soon as I locate it I'll send it out for those that want it.
I have the printed copy, worse case, I can always re-scan it.
I read this script, and it was gutwrenching and powerful. The ending is what sucker punches you though, and I warn you, it will. They cannot, MUST NOT, alter it. It's going to be an unbelievable movie, if they stuck to the script pretty closely. It's going to really put Rob on another level as an actor. It's just going to be an unforgettable movie, I just know it.
People really need to think first. If you read the script like I did changing the ending would have them reshoting the whole damn film.*shakes head*

Well I hope they havent changed the ending. I thought it was rather different from many other films.
