I thought Rob was going to fall into the audience at that one point too. He was shaking hands with someone. I think our Rob was a little soused, you could hear him slur his words a little.
I love Rob, but Taylor carries himself so well. He's articulate, jumps right in with all that he's asked to do and doesn't hide from his fans. He was on the red carpet, presented an award and was there for the NM trailer. What's up with the other two?
They are so cute-and yes Rob was slurring his words-whether from drinking or nerves-he was slurring-it was adorbale-the first you out of his mouth was like "youuuu" so cute! and "fuuurst" cracked me up!

I love Kristen's dress, she looked very pretty, but someone needs to teach that girl how to stand in a more ladylike manner... she just always stands like someone forced her to dress up ... or ridden hard and put away wet and if thsat's the case.. I guess I'm just jealous :)

The thing about Kristen that I really like is she really seems her age up there, even with the slight posture issues and how she stands with her legs. Most girls pose nicely like a beauty pageant contestant, hip out, one leg forward slightly, good posture chest out. And Kristen's lack of pretense is refreshing, she looks like a young girl up there, it's cute.
Robert's faces are hilarious too, and Taylor is just adorable.
oh, and kelly, I just saw your post, lol. Yes, sometimes her posture and crossed arms and leg placements are a bit awkward...lol But I have to admit I prefer that to the goofy poses people like Vanessa Hudgens do, they all need to find a happy medium. Like self assured without looking fake.
Robert and Kristen both have horrible posture and awkward gaits. I'm always waiting or Robert to trip over his own feet, he does this horrid shuffle that makes him look pidgeon-toed. There's even a blog with all these shots of him showing his awkward walking and running--It's Called "Pidegon-Toed Patty"--it's the funniest blog I've ever seen.
If Kristen would just lift her head more, her whole body would align as well. She just has a tendency to fidget and look downward a lot, which slump shoulders. I do have a problem with slouched shoulders.
And that's EXACTLY why I love him!!!
Rosa - maybe that explains why the dress was hanging on her in the bodice? I've seen pics of Kristen working a red carpet and looking old Hollywood glam. The girl cleans up well and this is a nice contrast to how boyish she's looked lately. She looks very pretty.
Still not as pretty as Rob. Slurring, falling of the stage, wonky legs and all he is just gorgeous.

I can't help but feel sorry for Rob. He quite clearly finds these 'occasions' difficult and to make matters worse he's shy and not an extrovert type of character so I don't blame him one little bit for having a few jars to calm him down. I'd have to be practically comatose to deal with all the crap he has to contend with and I bet he was so relieved when it was all over Bless him.
His awkwardness shows in his posture - typical of someone who just wishes he could disappear ...I wish he would stand tall and proud...he's a lovely looking man. As for his walk - I think it's utterly charming and as Cindeloo says exactly why I love hiim too! Perfect in his imperfections. LOl
Usually when a guy is that tall, they tend to slouch a bit so that they don't feel so out of place with the average height people. It's a shame but it's true. Rob's shyness also shows in his posture, but since he used to be so gawky, he's filling in those shoes mighty nicely!!
As for Kristen, I like that she's a bit awkward, it's what makes her cute and she's obviously more comfortable in jeans and sneakers.

"Rode hard and put away wet" refers to the wrong way to take care of your horse. When you ride a horse fast and for a long time or in the heat, that is "rode hard". After riding, a horse should be brushed down to get the dirt off her/him, and the sweat dried off. If not, they can chill or otherwise draw insects, etc. That is the "put away wet".
For people, well, you can just imagine! If Rob and I got all hot and sweaty from doing it 3 or 4 times in a row and then just got up to put clothes on and go home, well then one might say I was "rode hard and put away wet!" Oh yeah, if only....
The scrunched faces Rob and Kristen made I think was because someone started to interrupt them during the presentation. My first guess is that it was Russell Brand, but I do not remember for sure. I was waiting for him to do it again this year.

I keep looking at these photos and marveling at how young Rob appeaars here, and how much older Kristen seems. I am trying to figure out if being in Edward-mode (playing someone forever 17) has put Rob into that 'place' or if he is just more relaxed because he didn't have to do a risky get screamed at-tugged at-mauled by-fan stretch; or if he merely had a good sleep on the plane over and knew he would soon have the opportunity again to do so; or if he had a pint or 2; or if he sometimes makes himself to look older by the way he focuses his face or presents himself, and didn't need to, or was less inclined to give a darn due to aforementioned possible pints (or sleep). To me, he is always a sweet boy; looking 17 or 19 or 23 doesn't matter much to a mother whose mind-eye always sees the little kid in her grown kids and their friends, and I am not so sure what it is to 'look' an age anyway; he just looks even younger and sweeter to me here than he has for a while. (like since the dung hit the whirly blades when Twilight came out.)
Kristen looks quite lovely, and I see no toughness about which so many complain. She looks quite put together and sophisticated here, and although I prefer jeans and sneakers myself, she is really right for the occasion.

I said it in the other thread, but I really do love Kristen's hair here, if she didn't have it cut into a bob, I think she should consider doing that: she looks awesome!
