My thoughts are with Goz - hope all is okay?! YAY Marcus Foster - I know they heard some great music because Marcus is wonderful - love his stuff!! Hope he makes it to Oz with Bobby Long in January. We Aussies feel kinda out of the loop with everything that is going on in the northern hemisphere :-) Concerts galore with all Rob's buddies, Rob and Kristen having some together time, it's all good!!

Hey Kate - thanks for the post and for no speculation. I am so happy that Rob is able to get out with friends to do one of the things he truly enjoys. He loves music and his friends and always seems so happy spending time at concerts with friends. He has been working so hard - good to see him relaxing. Sorry to hear about Goz.

Y'all didn't hear about the attack on someone's account the other? It was all over the news and Jimmy Fallon said something even. He loves twitter.
Yeah, somebody had accounts for LJ, Myspace, twitter, and one more I think. So the hakers attacked those sites so badly that they shut down for a long time. So LJ is probably still trying to get their site back up.
Damn that person is really hated if those hackers went after their accounts like that. I wonder what that person did? Maybe it's a fellow hacker? Interesting.

I know I said I wouldn't post anymore (sometimes I feel just like Michael Corleone), but I took a break from all of this because I needed a little time to see if I could figure out how to be a fan. To figure out a way to love and enjoy Rob and his talent (and express it publicly) and yet, come to terms with the intrusion that fame has brought to his life. I started to feel a little better when the daily barrage of papp photos from the Remember Me shoot came to an end. I thought, okay, maybe I can come back and play again (if I don't have to see that 'hunted' look on his face on a daily basis, maybe I can pretend it doesn't exist). So I venture back this morning to find "the latest." I haven't had a chance to read all of the comments, but apparently there was quite the fireworks show. And now it looks likes like everyone just wants to forget about it all and play nice again. And I apologize if some will view my comments as stirring the pot again (and if you do, just ignore them)
I found the comment (and the support of it)...'put your head up Rob and suck it up boy' to be very interesting to say the least. THAT BOY AND THAT GIRL OWE US NOTHING EXCEPT A PERFORMANCE IN A MOVIE THEATRE THAT WE HAVE PAYED TO SEE!!! NOTHING!!! If they wish to keep their relationship private, that is their choice. Neither are fame whores and this level of intrusion into their lives must be nearly unbearable. He doesn't have to hold his head up or suck up anything. With what has happened to his life, he has every right to be distant, difficult or belligerant. But surprisingly, he is not. He is still kind and gracious for the most part. But the first time he ducks his head and obviously avoids the glare of the camera, and that shitty comment gets shot at him. It really shocked me coming from this blog. And for the record, do I believe they're a couple? Yes. I do.
I believe there was something between them from the time they first met nearly two years ago. He, she and Hardwicke have talked about it numerous times. Hell, it's the reason he was cast in the role. But Stewart isn't a typical ditzy teenager who lets herself get swept away. And for all his self-depricating talk, Rob can have any woman he wants and he knows it. I know alot would like to think of him as some sort of monk. Get serious. He's one of the most gorgeous, sexual, desirable men in the world. AND HE'S A FRIGGIN' MOVIE STAR! Now while I don't think he is a slut, make no mistake, that boy's getting all the tail he wants whenever he wants. But I think he had to pursue Stewart and that's one of the things that made her so 'desirable' to him and the fact that I think they're alot alike; artistic, old souls both. But she's no dummy. Had she been like most starlets in Hollywood, she would have fallen at his feet the first time he batted those eyelashes at her. If you really love him as you say and want him to be happy and if at the moment this girl is what makes him happy, then I'd say this should be a very happy time in Robland.
And you don't have to hold your head up to a pack of jackals Rob. You don't have to smile. You don't have to suck anything up. You don't have to comment on your personal life. You just have to try to live it as best you can despite the madness and insanity that your life has become.
And I won't sign off again with..."I won't be posting again" or something like it. I will. Not often. But I will. I wish it could be the fun and games stuff again (that was fun). But what has happened to him is just TOO MUCH and I'm afraid it's going to continue for him for at least another couple of years (until the Twilight Saga mercifully comes to an end), and it just isn't any fun watching all of this play out on his face. It's downright painful. Once again I've opened my big mouth. But this time, no apologies.

Just wanted to mention there's a great pic of Rob on TMZ in a green porsche.
I haven't read the comments on the few prior threads and the pics have disappeared but I have to say I haven't changed my mind one iota about this Rob and Kristen speculation. I haven't been posting as much because I'm still in mourning for MJ.
Rob's in LA and these are his LA buds. He's lightyears ahead of her intellectually and that alone is enough to preclude any long-term liason with her. Yes, many men think with the "little head" but Rob clearly is not one of them. Any guy who reads as many difficult books as Rob does isn't going to be intrigued long term with a home-schooled high school drop-out.
Once the "Twilight" saga is done, I don't see these two ever doing a film together again. Rob's career already shows striking variety while Kristen's is typecast (she always plays outsider girls). I don't think she's very versatile.

JandR - So after that whole thing yesterday morning. I finally got ahold of her and she was laughing so hard when i told her that he was not even there. After the bobby show there was two hours between the 100 monkeys show and when they got there it was already started - almost over. Her and her friends went drinking before heading over there ( I know not an excuse) but when she got in she did not recognize Jackson so she asked some lady and she pointed to one of the guys and said that was him. So the whole time she thought it was him and after they came out and signed autographs and took pics so she still assumed it was him. I said did you realize that it was not him and she said yeah but she thought that he just looked really different from the movie - uh yeah cause it was not him - so the pics she has is with another guy in the band Jared. She is an idiot. But she said the band was real nice and took pics and signed autographs. Boy did i feel like an idiot for posting that part of the story BUT...
she did say that she stands by her story of Rob & Kristen inside the club (she was sober when she saw them). The funny thing about "Moon's" story is that she never even knew Kristen was there until when she saw them leaving so how does she know how they were inside. My niece stood right next to them and I still believe my niece's story.
I did send Goz an email explaining the story of 100 monkeys and i did apologize for causing such controversy yesterday morning.
Goz, so sorry to hear. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Kate, thanks for stepping in.
Nikola6 - RIGHT ON! If we all want to talk about what we'd like to do to Rob if we could, fine. But if he wants to do Kristen, or Nikki, or anyone else, more power to him. If he says he and Kristen are friends, (well I should hope they would be by now or it would be really hard to keep the chemistry going) I will believe anything he says. I have an extremely attractive coworker with whom I go to lunch frequently. We are good friends! I take care of his dog when he goes away, and his daughter babysits my lizard. We get the same rumors, but an a much smaller scale. I used to date a musician and all family and friends were welcome in the bars. It's great that Kristin likes the same music and it's great that she and Rob can go in support of his friends.
I wish we could stop speculating about if "they are" or "they aren't". They probably both are whenever they want, with each other or whomever else they want. Their privilege. It's way more fun to appreciate the little things about him, like his sewing skills, his old clothes, and what we all would like to do for him.

LOL-Kristen is being typecast? Please, she's playing Bella Swan and Joan Jett back to back. Robert and her are in very different places in that Robert just blew up with this movie. That's good, but dangerous too. He doesn't have prior work to fall back on when people just call him another pretty face, and the more overexposed he gets, the more danger of him having "2010" stamped on his beautiful forehead.
Kristen actually is in a better position professionally, simply because she has a solid resume working with choice directors and actors and being a critical darling. She also didn't blow up popularity wise too, until she got linked to Robert. She has more room to deviate from the Swan persona, where poor Robert is stuck with people thinking of him as a sparkley brooding romantic figure more.
I have faith he'll overcome it, but professionally, I say Kristen is in the better position.

I hope that everything will be fine for Goz and her family, my thoughts are with them.
I´m kind f tired of the robsten speculation, all I read is people believing whatever want to believe, we see a pic of a second in their life and we construct a world, their world! we imagine what they feel and want they think, we give advice as to what is better for their personal life and their career.
I don´t know if they are together or not, I don´t know how they are in their private lifes, all I know is about the image they project to the public. Personally I think they could be just good friends or lovers, at this point even though I speculate in my mind, after all it is only their busyness, and all they owe me is a believable performance as the character they are portraying in a movie, I have no right to tell them or argue how they should life their life as I defend no one has that right with mine.
One thing I will say and it is that about this night it was reported by people inside the concert that they were there with a group of people, saw the concert and left separately, Rob took off in Nick´s car, and Kristen in other; after that.. construct all you want to construct in you heads.

I hate to say it but I really will be glad when these Twilight movies are done. Yes they've brought Rob instant recognition and fame but at what cost? Will he be typecast? @ Chicago Girl and Riley: About the acting and the position in the industrie ... both of you are right in a way. Kristen certainly is in a better position but Robert definitively is the better actor.
As I have said several times before, I think her acting skills are limited (that may change over the years, she's still very young). Sometimes she is really good, but at other times not, something is missing in her characters.

As for the two of them and the latest pics I just feel sorry for them. It's been such a frenzy and I don't think this is going to die down soon.

I'm not going to try to defend Kristen because this is not the Kristenobsessed site-BUT-
Whether people think Rob is further ahead of her or not, and he'll outgrow her or not, is really neither here or there…
Whether they're doing the nasty or not, doesn't matter either…
The point is-whether she's his girlfriend or gal friend, he obviously adores her, and therefore that's all that matters to me.
I adore him and want him to have whatever makes him happy, even if it ain't me.

i respectfully disagree with the whole, 'ROB is miles ahead' comment...
when i hear KRISTEN, fumbling around to explain her thinking on a particular scene, i see a very young woman, who is so intellectual, i'm amazed.
she thinks intensely about the rhyme and the reason, she over thinks things actually, but key word, THINKS...
she is deep, guarded, and meticulas to a fault.. so grown up for a woman so young.
there is nothing frivolous about KRISTEN, and for that i feel sorry for her.
listening to others in her field speak of her, they rave about her ethic and dedication. i am reminded of Jaime Campbell Bower, who recently went all tender and spoke of her as being 'so lovely' in a reverent hushed voice.
some say she's low class, i wonder if we put their familys up against her family, who would be low class? they say breeding will tell. i'm thinking she comes from a very 'tasteful'
background. i would think she would be quite 'polished' in any atmosphere, as her family is well connected...
ROB always defers to her respectfully, so i'm thinking, with his broad interests, he must find her an equal...
i dont know, i just think KRISTEN is more than what we want to give her credit for...

@for Dummies I totally agree! I study acting and Love them both for what they say in interviews and such! (yeah, my age it's a complicated thing, since I don't usually agree with people my own age...) I'm never able to get how old exactly is K in a movie, because she takes such roles and challenges if you look for a movie she did, "speak" in imdb... I was impressed!

Riley~I'm wondering if you have seen Rob in "How to Be," and "Dali" as well as his British television work? I've seen all of his roles and I can tell you he definitely won't be typecast as the "sparkly" guy from "Twilight." Robert has shown some real wisdom in choosing radically different roles, from comic (Art in "How to Be") to avant garde (Salvador Dali, the surreal Spanish artist in "Dali"). His upcoming roles outside of "Twilight" couldn't be more different: a NYC drama, French newspaperman, a Western.
Kristen keeps playing outsider girl after outsider girl: "Out of the Wild," "Twilight," "Adventureland," and now Joan Jett. In every single one she's an off-beat girl in a drama. Connected or not, her performances are virtually interchangeable. I wish she'd surprise me, but that's JMHO.
