Appalling. Even People is jumping on the bandwagon. I would hope they at least have an interview with him, but for some reason (BS headline), I don't think so...
Call me cynical but I wonder if the reason they (RP & KS) haven't sued these magazine's is that it's Summit who are pushing the idea of a real life couple to feed the flames of interest inbetween movies? But they also say there's no smoke without fire... arg!
Little Red - it doesn't even matter if they're together or not. Even if they were publicly a couple, the mags would still fabricate drama to sell their crap (see Brangelina).
LittleBear - very true, very true. It just seems odd that there's no denial about these multiple repeated stories. I know they can't issue a press release every time but even one would go a long way. I guess it all adds to the mystery...
I never thought People would become a Tabloid. Really sad.
These covers makes me wanna barf, not the pics per se, love those but the effing rumors and headlines, makes me wanna barf every singe one of them.
Sadly this rumor crap will continue for atleast another 2 years or so...I just hope atleast that the Twi-cast will still be friends after all is said and done...
Wow, it saddens me to see People in this grouping. I used to really like that mag, and trusted (most) of what it said, as there weren't too many shady-sounding things, and they usually have direct interviews for cover-worthy stories. Suckage.

I won't deny that I'm pretty curious to know the truth myself!
But both Kristen and Rob are the sort of people to refuse to deny gossip on principle, so who knows, really.
On another note... isn't it sad that Rob's first People cover is so crappy? I mean, true or not... "messy" love life, that's not exactly positive, not to mention seriously unfair. Rob is probably about the tamest celebrity ever!

I think there's no point in denying or acknowledging what these mags say, they'd just say whatever makes them sell in any case. They're definitely not after the truth.
Going down to their level is useless, imho.

I would think he's under a lot of pressure (from himself!) to prove he's more than a character from an already established fanbase. (Sorry, long entry - I think about this stuff way too much obviously!;)

While I love seeing Rob on magazine covers (for legit articles, mind you) it kind of makes me sad that Walter Cronkite, once the Most Trusted Man In America, passed, and has been relegated to upper left corner status in favor of rumor and conjecture. *shakes head*

it was formally the only entertainment mag I would buy based on the fact that they actually interviewed the people in their stories and didn't usually resort to this kind of conjecture
but now I'll be forced to relegate it to the level of trash mags I refuse to pay for...

Hmm...I'm going to hold off on dissing People until I see the article. Has anyone actually read it yet? I can't find it online, I only see the cover. I bet it's only a rewritten piece on Rob's crushes for his co-stars (which is true),so they can get in on a little piece of the Rob hype. I'm not going to judge People though till I see the article.
I too am suprised that People stooped to this level. I doubt it makes it a true story. It apparently is a story that sells and everyone is sick of hearing about MJ. They probably had no other choice.
I subscribe to People and always thought it to be a more respectable magazine, but I can't believe they would join the gossip. I am a little disappointed.

They must not be in the know to publish such crap! People magazine may have been intrigued that US mags sold out their magazine everytime Rob is feature. Business jealousy? I dare say! They can't dig anything dirty on ROB so they try to spark the flame of crappiness!

the only magazine that i would believe out of those is People. cuz technically that is not a tabloid. they have very accurate stuff in there. so maybe now there might be some truth to it...idk though. we will have to wait till eclipse starts i guess to see =]

You shouldn't be allowed to photoshop people to add value to your, also fake, cover story. It's just total deception.

The thought People was above this type of thing. For a guy who is completely UNDER the radar and doesn't seem to be skanking around, hasn't been seen with either co-star in some compromising position, they sure do come up with a crap story!
