I have become a Rob Porn Addict to which there appears to be no cure. I've stared at his hands for 15 minutes now at work. Can't...look...away.

I spent several months looking at other sites before deciding to 'jump in' on this one (and the decidng factor was, you're all so damn funny), but I noticed something, over and over. Nikola Six- Oh yes! I agree with you totally. I noticed Rob in HP and when he died at the end of the movie I screamed "What the hell are they doing, this guy is a franchise!!" I kept waiting for him to pop up again, then I read he'd been cast for "Twilight" and thought, "Ok..I'm not crazy, someone else noticed"
I didn't see "Twilight" in the theatre, I got dragged to "The Dark Knight" and "James Bond" last fall because I only go to the theatre with two men, my husband and my best friend who wouldn't see anything they deemed as a chick flick if their lives depended on it. (I really need a few female friends not on the Net and hundreds of miles away!)
My daughter got into the "Twilight" books and went on and on about them and about Rob/Edward. She'd lend me a book and grabbed it back the next day. Then an internet friend of mine in Texas wrote to me and wanted to know if I'd like to read them so she could share her experience with someone. I said yes, she sent me all four books as she finished them and we started writing back and fourth about our experiences, plus by this time my daughter and I were talking about them for hours on the phone. Need I say it? All three of us are MAD about Rob! However, it's no longer about "Twilight" or Edward.
He's captivated us all with his interviews and now we've all seen his other work as well.
I have to admit that I've never had this type of draw before either. Elvis had the physical package and a great voice, but seriously folks, he gave terrible interviews and came across to me at least, on the dim side. The Beatles had charm and were funny..but they were loopy weird. (Let's face it, throw Yoko Ono in there and whoa Mama!)
Rob just seems to have it all, at least with me and obviously with everyone else on this blog..I just hope he doesn't change, what a terrible waste if that would happen, he's a breath of fresh that I think we all need.

It's so great to see that I'm not crazy (or going through a mid-life crisis). I'm 38 and thought I've lost it being so obsessed with Rob. My kids think I'm definitely gone!! At least my husband pampers me with all things Rob. My screen backgound, my screen saver, long hours on the web searching for news and pics, the books right on my bedside table...he even bought me the movie on Blu-ray! Plus I have the movie on my iPod so I can see Rob anywhere any time I want to!!!!

Sonia09- I know, right?! I mean he's only 23 years old and the other flavors of the week in the past 20 or more years have not turned my head at all. Ok maybe a few extra heartbeats when Johnny Depp walks on the screen, but besides a calendar and a keychain that's as far as it went. I never knew what movie he was going to be until it was released then I'd wait for the DVD. Plus..he's quite a bit older then Rob.
There really isn't too many people to talk about this to. I know I'm not going to write to him, ask for his autograph if I ever ran into him, I'm not that type of a person, besides a very dirty, nasty look I once got from Joe DiMaggio when he was sitting 2 feet away from in a restuarant when I only smiled at him cured me. I don't approach celebraties. That was my tenth wedding anniversary and I had to sit 2 feet away from this guy and he ruined my whole meal..I don't think Rob would be like that, but I won't be taking any chances. Well ok, I won't approach him, but I might smile..
Lynda, I wouldn't approach him either, but just because I think he gets so annoyed from fans wanting to kiss him, touch him, get his pictures and autographs, that I simply wouldn't want to annoy him more or get him more paranoid. I would just be so excited to be near him, to be able to observe him, and of course, smile the moment he looked at me. A smile says a lot, as we gals know.
