About the paper cut comment ...besides not being very believable (acting wise) why does she have to state the bleeding obvious(excuse the pun). I do not think it is well done and the attack by Jasper that looks like it is in 'slow mo' looks wrong??
Okay so it is obvious that the trailer does not quite do it for me, but this one I do like better than the one put out by Summit.

katy~I'm thinking when your dealing with a subject that moves super fast, you have 2 options. Have them move super fast~then you can't see whats happening or do the slow mo thing. I like how they did it because if they stuck with how it was done in the book, it would have come off as really cheesy. Plus I'm sure things will be cleaned up in the final product. For me everything looked 1000x better than Twilight~just the whole look of it

So many fan made trailer are better than the studios. I know the first was a "teaser" and was exciting to watch. I just have one issue with Bella still wearing that ugly raincoat in the forest with Edward. Didn't she get more fashion sense? And what's Edward doing all dressed up? Just my thoughts......

yeah I completely agree Katy, her acting at the papercut is awful. Hopefully they'll fix it.
This was so well put together. I enjoyed it very much. As far as "announcing" the paper cut. I think that is natural. In an office when that happens, almost everyone winces and announces they have a dreaded paper cut. But K's acting is bad. But then, it always is, in my opinion. She always looks like she is standing around waiting for someone to feed her the next line. In every project I have seen her in, there is rarely any emotion in her face or her voice, no matter what the situation is. She does not look or sound scared, sad, happy, upset, anxious, nothing. I just don't get it. I don't want to hurt her as an individual, but watching her act is very frustrating. I can tell by the script that she should be scared, angry, or whatever, but I get none of that from her. I just don't get it.

This is the second trailer this girl has done. Her first NM trailer was amazing also, but she used Steven Strait as Jacob (who I think would have been awesome, but Taylor is cool too). I'm glad she made a new one. Love it.

XoRob yes I am sure they will tweak up the scenes and we are just seeing a rough cut but I think the scene would have been better if Jasper was standing in close and there had been a scuffle. After all they are supposed to be standing around watching Bella open her presents. Jasper looks like a little guy (with big hair) off in the corner of the room alone.
Momma yes I agree it is mostly to do with her acting but wouldn't it be more normal to go "Oh shit" or "damn" as a first reaction.
I know I am critical, but I so DO NOT want them to stuff this one up as I think they did with the first one.
It always amazes me at how good some of the fan made trailers are.

Wow I thought this was excellent for any trailer, let alone a fan made trailer. I have just seen The Messengers and thought Kristen did a great job. I think what people need to remember is that she is a fan of the books, she's terrified of screwing up what she loves, she seems very self critical. She's also very young. Cut her a break peeps, imagine it was you who had this huge phenomenon to live up to?!
With regard to the papercut scene, I think the worst thing is that she just left her bleeding finger out there in a room full of vampires. I'm sure she puts it in her mouth in the book (or maybe I'm hallucinating that?). But that's down to the script and direction and not to do with K's acting!
