Javier speaks of the more "intimate" scenes with Rob in a snip from a recent interview.
WCT: How does it feel to be the envy of millions of teenage girls and gay boys, sharing love scenes with Robert Pattinson?
JB: I don't know. [ laughs ] I'm just very happy to have worked with Robert—to have shared this project with him—and I'm very happy for him for his success.
WCT: Can you talk about filming the love scenes with him? Both of you have said they were painful physically to film—really?
JB: The scenes were very intense. It was very difficult to express since they were very intense emotions in these scenes with what was happening with the two individuals. But I was very comfortable doing the scenes because the crew and Robert were very supportive. I was happy how they came out in the movie.

Javier seems to have another version of how that scene was filmed, he felt support form Ron and the crew... while Rob´s version was the one of almost freaking out, love those two different points of view; or Javier is being diplomatic in his answer or Robert was exaggerating things when he gave this answer on that filming.. haha (and we know Rob tend to exaggerate things in interviews hahaha) which could be the case?
I comment this in another topic, I read Reuters and EW reviews of LA, and they didn´t like it too much, mostly because of the script, and they weren´t too impress with the acting :(
I said I thought Javier was kinda hot on a previous thread. Correction: he IS hot.
Mechevpao: Perhaps it's because Javier is Spanish, so he understood what the crew said whereas Rob only heard the giggles. Besides Rob had to play a character who was neither experienced with nor comfortable with gay sex. And he had this other difficult scene, too.
Javier is so yummy I'd eat him up like Paella..
or something else Spanish...
Yeah he did seem a little too confortable doing the sex scenes but hey I would be very confy too if I had Rob as a partner...here i go again letting my imagination run wild!!! hehehe ;o)

I think Javier is fantastic. If he plays his cards right, we may see more of him soon. His performance really was beautiful.
And I love how his answers are really more thought out than Rob's about the love scenes. I'm sure Rob didn't mean them to sound as awful as the interviewers make it out to be, just that it obviously wasn't a comfortable or easy film to shoot.
