"I Love You, Man" co-star Tom Lennon isn't surprised that "Twilight" couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are up for Best Kiss at the MTV Movie Awards, but frankly, he thinks his kiss with Paul Rudd is more deserving of the Golden Popcorn.
"Pattinson, Stewart — no doubt some great Frenching going on, and I respect that, but for level of difficulty, if this was the Olympics, kissing Robert Pattinson is like a three on the difficulty," Lennon told MTV News. "There's no trick to doing that. I don't know why you get awards for kissing Robert Pattinson. You're not going to find anybody down in Times Square that's gonna run up and wanna kiss me. Rudd did, and that's points for difficulty."
Lennon furthered his bid to win by arguing that the two guys worked really hard to get the kiss right. "What you see onscreen in 'I Love You, Man' is not just the first take of that kiss. We did that kiss no less than 30 times from three different angles. I went for tongue. A lot of people wouldn't have done that."
He added that "every single take we would try to change the kiss just the slightest bit." Which kiss made it into the film? The one he likes to call the "death blow," mixed with some "creepy" eye contact. It's only a matter of time before we find out if it was also a win with the voters.

Hehehe, Tom Lennon is awesome. That "I Love You, Man" kiss was pretty awesome, but it didn't get my blood boiling like Rob and Kris did. Sorry, Tom! (Even though he got to kiss Paul Rudd, which can't be too bad!)

i can never tire of watching that outtake replay...
The Tom/Paul kiss was funny and slightly creepy, but the Twilight kissing scene is HOT!!! I remember seeing that in the theater...forgetting to even breathe...feeling all twitterpated...whoa - now that's an award-winning kiss.
And Goz - pleeeeeze don't ever feel dorky re-posting your awesome creations...I love this one!
Hehe.. he has a good point there, but still voting for Rob and Kristen for best, even though I´m sure it didn´t required too much acting form her to show lust in that kiss.
By the way, apparently you can vote more than once for those awards, I tried and it let me, which is total crap, I expected better from MTV, multiple voting leads to cheating, not fair, even if Rob is nominated or not.

Godze, i think you should have posted the gif-version of the outtake rather than the YouTube clip ...cause there's one last frame, which is missing from the YouTube version here, and i think it's so crucial... watch it, and tell me i'm right --the way Kristen/Bella slips under Rob/Edward and he starts pulling away, as if he's uncomfortable about the proximity... I don't even though if that was acting, or for real...poor guy...

lol tina, loop means it keep repeating itself. That's why when Rob get between her legs it looks like he is getting up, because the next part is them sitting up on the bed.
But again, that's how I see it :)

Godze, your mind is playing tricks on you :-) it's editing what ur eyes see, cause u don't want to imagine Rob suffering in bed with KStew... and here i am, feeling sorry for the guy- i mean, for a 22 year old hunk, how does it feel, when a girl- even if you're all professionals and surrounded by guys with camera and stuff - puts her fingers in your mouth and get THAT close to you, or improvise in any other way that's not in the script (and we've all read the books- it's definitely not in the script, even if Kathrine decided to play around and perhaps deliberately shot them as "extra" scenes for the DVD and the hype)... i just can't imagine what someone in his position would feel like- i don't think he can separate reality from fiction that well...
Maybe that was the original kiss that was reshot because it was too steamy and that is when he says "stop" and flies off the bed.
Hell, because RP made it hot that's why. Without any help from "dead lips" Kristen.

I think I'll have to agree with Godze on this one...he was pulling away. Although, that might have been reflex because it freaked him out! Catherine did say that he fell off the bed because he got too passionate. :)
I love this scene. So HOTTT!! Yeah, the guy on guy might have been uncomfortable for the actors who are not gay, but I vote on what moves me. And that kiss moves me. Where is the husband when you need him?!
