Interesting. Then again, when do dads (even movie ones) ever know what the kids are really up to?
Burke just returned from filming New Moon in Vancouver, where he and Rob sometimes grabbed drinks at local dive bars.

Well, sad to say, i gotta go. The hubby slept in, but he's no up and ate 'em, and we have soem running around to do this afternoon, so i better wrap it up for now.
You tell em', Billy! And we looooove that Rob is a goofball....there's nothing sexier than a guy who can make me laugh. Aside from a guy who's tall, lean, has a gorgeous smile, great hair, and a killer bod. And also happens to be intelligent, articulate, multi-talented, and completely humble and down-to-earth. Oh wait. Rob meets ALL of those characteristics, doesn't he? Yaa....that just miiiiiight explain my phenomenally big crush on him.
As for KS, I cosign with Monika in that I don't give a damn. She has a boyfriend. What really makes me sad is that Rob seems to have hopelessly fallen for her (the way I've hopelessly fallen for Rob. ahh, the circle of life). But I can't shake the feeling that KS is not thaat interested, but enjoys his attention and feels like she has him wrapped around her little finger. I sense this youthful arrogance about her....I don't know, I might be wrong. And I can kinda see why she's not under the Rob spell like the rest of us. Keep in mind the fact that she initially met him when he was a relative nobody. He was instantly smitten by her, and ladies....you know how it is when a guy shows too much interest in you from the get-go. It's unfortunate, but sometimes nice guys do finish last. And sometimes a guy who is TOO interested is a turn off. Also keeping in mind his neuroses, as mentioned earlier, and the fact that he does a have a girly kind of giggle....it doesn't exactly put him in the "bad boy" category.
I'll bet you this much.....if Rob stopped flirting with Kristen as much, stopped showering her with attention, and was suddenly being spotted around town with rival established and respected young actresses (as opposed to bimbo socialites or models), I'll BET YOU KS might start to see him a little differently. It's a shame how we women operate. You lose interest in us and seem unavailable, and it can suddenly peak our interest. Just some advice, Rob. You can thank me later....maybe over coffee. Have your people call my people ;)

Hmmmm...why judge Kristen over a remark her father made? Doesn't make sense to me...parents and kids are mismatched all the time. Didn't know this happened, but I would have WAY stuck up for Kristen on the blogs if I would've known about it.
Show- I have to agree with KK and SB on this one. They are not showing us that whole spark thing like they did before. It has faded. Rob needs to bring his A game to get her. Hell he needs to get a game like we said before.LOL

KK- See she was being so bitchy at the time by insulting the fans calling us insane and saying how if she left the role the fanswould really be mad. Like see was so important that the movie would fail without her.Kinda of toying with people.
Then when her dad said those things it felt like it was another personal attack coming from her. Just through her father. Because it was first reported that she was coming. Then at the last minute she's not. So see how everything look really bad???

KK- Yep, that's were alot of the hate came from. And it took her about 3 weeks or a bit over a month I think to apologize. That's when the Nylon magazine interview came out. It was some mess in that too. Regardless the kiddies were like see I knew Kristen didn't mean those things. Everybody else was like okay will let you slide on this one. But mess up one more time... Oh and people still wanted Summit to fire her and get somebody else because the main complaint was that she didn't "appreciate" this opportunity in being in Twilight.

Okay, There are a lot of comments to get through so if I'm repeating anything sorry.
First off, I think it's great that Billy would stick up for R/K that way, there has been speculation going on for a long time and until I hear it from the source, I take everything worth a grain of salt.
Secondly, I never understood all of the Kristen haters I think she did a good job as Bella. The first time I read the book, I kinda got the impression that she was tongue tied at times. I think K tried to potray that in her performance.
I really like how he is a goofball, he's probably a lot of fun to be around.

Yes, underwhelmed is a great description of her acting.
Billy, on the other hand, like Shani said..."stole every scene he was in." I actually find myself saying in his deadpan way, "well, good luck with THAT." LOL. He's damn cool. I'm glad that he and Rob are friends.
Agree with the underwhelmed comments in relation to K's acting but to be fair there were a couple of scenes where Rob's acting left a bit to be desired. I mostly put that down to bad direction and also lack of 'brilliantly written' dialogue.
The whole, does he love her (K) or doesn't he, bores me to tears. Life is too important(says woman writing on a fan blog on a Saturday afternoon??)to waste time on useless conjecture. Whoever it is HE chooses is really none of my business so I just wish him happiness and success with his choices.
KK if you stand alone on the subject of not being into Rob's
appearance than I probably think I will stand alone when it comes to the NM movie. My only interest in it is for Rob to play his part well. I will want to see the beginning and the end.
The Jacob/Bella bit in the middle and the whole werewolf thing.. NOOOOOOT.
yea girls keep dreaming, billy knows EVERYTHING, if you really liked rob you would want him to be happy with whomever he chooses to fall in love with
Katykeene, I stand with KK (and have said this from the beginning) on the Rob appearance thing. It really is about Rob as a person and his appearance is a distant second.
I do agree with you about his acting in "Twilight"--some weak moments there. I think he was his best in "Little Ashes."
