CoverAwards spoke exclusively to Life & Style’s editor in chief Dan Wakeford, who explained why Robert Pattinson has suddenly become the new ‘It” cover guy for the magazine:
“Robert Pattinson is a perfect mixture of obsession and mystery, which makes him a fantastic cover star,” says Wakeford.
“He’s bright, cool and handsome, yet doesn’t have the persona of a boy like other heartthrobs. With the Twilight books and movies so prevalent, Life & Style’s readers are obsessed by him and his character Edward and are addicted to every new piece of information they can get about him.”
What’s the really special part about Pattinson?
“And if that weren’t enough, who can resist an English accent?” asked Wakeford. (who also has an English accent!)

Correction, L&S - how about "addicted to every TRUE piece of information." And you could start by printing his photo the right way around so he doesn't look like the anti-Rob.

Wow... I think Rob is/has been on every recent issue of Life & Style. The only good thing about this, is I get to "see" him every time I'm in line at the grocery store :)
There are tons of those mags with Rob's face on the cover here in Brasil. I always see them, never buy them. But I have my GQ ~ that is a precious one...

I don't need the books,movies, or any lie to obsess over Rob. I liked him before way back in Vanity Fair before he became famous and will continue to follow his career.

Even though I am a Rob & Kris supporter, I don't think printing lies is cute or entertaining. Especially when Rob's beautiful face is tampered with.

IMO Anyone who believes anything Life and Style prints should have their head examined. It's not just the Rob/twilight crap they print. It's all the other celebrity crap they print. Total bald faced lies. Too bad it's so hard to sue the rags in the USA. Sad they can get away with this crap.
