However, wait until you hear what happened next. Kristen and Nikki were in the car ahead of him (also with their window down), so when they made it onto the road the fansgirls stormed the vehicle trying to get pictures of the girls. Of course, this caused Rob's car to be stuck behind them. So there he is, Robert Pattinson, in front of I'd say a hundred screaming girls.... CHARGE! They completed bombarded the vehicle and one girl even tried to jump in his window. Of course, Rob was then advised by his security guard to roll up his window. All the guards were trying desperately to hold back the girls so the cars could drive away. Once they were able to move, the girls proceeded to chase the car down the street.

Sad indeed girls, very sad. Have a little self-restraint. I was incredibly excited to see RP as well, but there's no way in hell I would have ever behaved like 80% of the other girls there. FYI - chasing people is not cool.

Anyways, Rob's a sweetheart and actually Kristen was all smiles as she drove by too. Very cool of them. Too bad their fans didn't have a little more respect.; April 9, 2009 at 11:40 AM

Just thought I would clear something up. The "Mounties" were only protecting the filming at Tofino They were off-duty officers that were protecting the set. The officers did it to fund raise for cancer research. I guess the production company donated. They may be doing more off-duty work. My guess is that is a paid bodyguard.; April 9, 2009 at 12:09 PM
