We told you about The Beat 94.5's Holly Conway meeting Rob. Well she talked about it on her show yesterday and she is so cute :) This is one of the best encounter stories ever and it once again solidifies my resolve on NEVER telling Rob I run this blog if I ever accidentally on purpose run into him ;)
There is an "awwwww!" moment when he talks about people analyzing every little look he has on his face. As I keep saying not everyone is perfect like me and can give open eye, awesome pictures all the time. His eyes closed might not mean he is stoned/drunk. Shocker, I know! :)

I said this last night, but I'll say it again. These kinds of encounters totally validate what we know and love about Rob. He is humble, charming, kind and honest. Kudos to Holly for keeping her word and not posting the pic. Encounters like these are positive for both fans AND Rob.

LOVE THIS!!! love Robert, love this blog. Is it weird that he seems like such a cool and fun person that I just want to hang out with him (don't get me wrong he's sexy as hell) After watching the commentary on the dvd i just can't get out of my head that he would be someone that would be awesome to have as a friend. I'm glad to hear there are fans "protecting" him too. He is so genuine and awkward, in a good way of course, and I would hate to see him lose that because of people attacking him for autographs all the time.

Cool story to share! Everyone's feeling a bit jealous of Holly right now, but I must say I think her approach was awesome. She was very polite. I'm glad she didn't post the picture or act like a hysterical fan at all, even though she was dazzled. :)
Holly acted so great and showed respect when he was trying to eat. That's really wonderful that she is a woman of her word. Now she gets why his fans are so obsessed and protective of him.
And many people do underestimate the power of direct eye contact. It draws that other person in. It's like y'all are the only two people in the world. Looking straight into someone else eyes without constantly looking away shows that you are a genuine person. It will even help you in getting a job. Like they say, "the eyes are the windows to the soul". And Rob's soul seems to be beautiful...dazzling...

Hell when are we going to get a real interview with Rob, with proper questions? Not just goo goo ga ga Twilight, and jee ya sing nice, and how's the hot guy idol and screaming thing going.
I want so badly for a serious interview - I want to hear him talk about his other movies and work, about working with Catherine Tate, about
Ashes, Haunted Airman and How to Be about working with different directors and actors he has liked. About his comic presence.
And he calls his modelling career a failure yet now he's being hunted for every mag cover, tell us about photo shoots.
And tell us about the piano, how long he has studied, what he likes etc.
I think Holly is such a great person and approach this situation the way anyone should have. At least one at a time. Haha!
She was mature about it and respected his personal space. tsk tsk to those girls that bother him while he is eating. I don't think she could have done a better job.
She definately is lucky. I know all of us would love to go to Vancouver and run into him like that (as I have seen on most of the comments) but I think the timing would have to be almost perfect.
The interaction sounds exactly like the Rob that we all know and love. I know this makes it harder to move on. I am so proud to be a fan of such a talented person and hope that everyone treats him with the respect that Holly did.
