my next ff start up is going to be two steppin i do believe
30 - I loved it. I can see where some would be turned off by it - Edward is basically a high-paid whore who is treated pretty badly in a few chapters...you need a strong stomach to handle the way he is "owned" in some of the writing. That aside, I like how he gradually starts to heal with Bella's help and learned to face his demons, love himself and love Bella. It's a really different story.

Do you know why I became a fan? When my dad was dying last year, my friend gave me Twilight to read at the hospital. Then I was given some links to Rob interviews by students. I didn't know who he was. Some very, very late nights, I would watch Rob interviews, and he made me laugh at a time when I couldn't find anything else to laugh about. I sent him a letter in December thanking him. I don't expect a reply, but I hope he reads it so that he knows I am out here with so much gratitude.

i have most of those completed ones on my list if you will. and i have read a couple.
i picked up twilight on a whim for my 14 year old daughter. she didn't start reading it right away, so i did. i read all four books in a week. that was last fall. my robsession kicked in shortly thereafter when she showed me a pic of the cast of characters on photobucket. rob drew my attention right away and i started watching interviews of him on youtube. he too helped me through a tough time by restoring my laughter.
anyway, i've been a fan since then and think i will be for life.

It does get really disgusting around here and has for a looong time. The regulars are the worst offenders.
Hey KK I know you are probably asleep now but I just want to say thanks for sharing how you became robsessed.
I seem to see a pattern here. The common denominator would seem to be watching Robs interviews. I have read it so often now. People saying they fell in love with the person they saw outside the movies.
I myself had seen him in HP and thought he was a very good looking young man. I then went to see Twilight because I had been hearing about it. I ended up getting the books and reading them over Christmas. I fell in love with his music and marvel that one young man has so much talent. Then I watched some of his interviews and was captivated by his humour(mostly self-deprecating). He also appeared so genuine and endearing.Bought out all my mothering instincts and I was a bit afraid for him. I thought Hollywood would chew him up and spit him out.
The paparazzi are painful the stalker fans over the top but Rob just keeps showing his class by handling it all so well.
Thanks for giving me new FF to read you painful people. As if I can spare more time...(sighs)
WA was my first FF also and have to say it has spoilt me but I will check out your recommendations.

People really loose their minds with speculation on photos!!! Personally I just enjoy looking at them, and dont really care who he may or may not be F....ng. Its all just practice for when we meet anyway!
Um.....This is for MEG - First: How old are you? Second: I have seen NO "MIDDLE AGED, GROWN UP WOMEN WHO KNOW BETTER" in ANY pictures with Kellan, or Rob, or Kristin - what I have seen are young women in their early twenties, not that it matters. I'd just like to know, how old ARE the middle aged, grown up women that know better? I'd love to have a manual, so that I'll know if I'm too old to be a fan. Thanks.
