Can't believe May is around the corner, time flies!!! Fingers crossed that the critics love it as much as I did, especially Rob's performance. On a side note, I hope this movie and the extra press it is getting due to Rob's fame does wonderful things for Javier Beltran's career because he was absolutely brilliant in this movie (and gorgeous!).
Can you help me find out about any planned UK releases for Little Ashes? The Regent Releasing mailing list is just useless, they are so USA-centric and didn't even mention the recent one night only showing at Cine Lumiere in London. I found out about it the next day and was hopping mad that I had missed it! What's the point of being on the mailing list if they don't let me know about all the showings including UK? It seems almost impossible to get any information about a UK release or UK festival showings for Little Ashes, and to be honest the same is true for How To Be. In fact that is even worse, it is a BRITISH film with BRITISH actors, and yet there seem to be no showings of How To Be at all in the UK. The website says it is showing at festivals worldwide but there is no mention of the UK. If you can help with any information that would be great. Rob has lots of fans in his home country and we want to see his films in his home town of London too!
That first banner is fab. It's from a hugely intense scene in the movie so yeah he is teary eyed :( I'm itching to see this again. I know Im lucky enough to have seen it at all but now I KNOW what Im missing out on!!
Soprano Girl - Regarding Little Ashes, Paul Morisson said at the Irish Premiere that it will be on general release in May in Ireland. I assume that includes UK too but he didnt say that specifically. I dont know if that's now being changed to limited release now though :-/
I have contacted all the Arthouse cinemas in London about Little Ashes and How To Be. The Barbican cinema has already shown How To Be!!! So why didn't the How To Be mailing list let me know about that? I have written to the Little Ashes promotors to complain that their email list didn't let me know about the London showing. I am so mad about this!!!!

Well I never heard of it either Soprano. But a quick google search shows me The Barbican showed "How To be Loved", maybe they confused the 2 films?
