I am not sure if he is making anything out of the DVD sales and/or box office. It all depends on what he negotiated in the past and with him being a fairly unknown actor I doubt he is getting anything :((
I do live in Turkey now. When I started the blog I lived in US. Moved here 3 months ago...
Wow, wish I could be the pretty girl he wishes for. Oh wiat I'm married, but I can dream. Goz Thanks for all of your hard work to bring us all things Rob.
Thanks for your answer! I luv your blog. U are right, hopefully, he is getting a percentage or something. .... Have a good evening!(or whatever time it is in Turkey)
Thank you :)) I hope he had it in his contract that he can renegotiate for the following movies and since he hasn't signed for BD he should hit the jack pot with that one :)
Poor Rob. Goz, do you really think he is as paranoid as he puts on. He keeps saying he hasn't watched the movie, but he had to in order to do the DVD commentary. I just know he says a lot of diff things in interviews, and sometimes it's hard to separate the truth from just Rob playing around. Is he really that paranoid? What do you think?
I think he exaggerates a LOT! I do not believe he "freaks out!" like he says. And I am 100% positive he doesn't have panic attack disorder :) He would have freaked out at Oscars :)
Well, the thing is we never know when those interviews were done... it seems to say early november 2008,right? So we know that he has NOW watched the movie to do the DVD commentary, but the interview is probabily older...
It's always quite annoying never to know when the interviews take place, but it seems that it always takes a lot of time for something to come to print. Which is why things might seem weird, so out of context.
Same with all those articles where they seem to mix old quotes and interviews actually.
And this is why I love Rob: "if I start to change my life to resemble what people expect a successful actor to be, those same people will hate me for changing. So I stay the same, as honest as possible. With dirty hair".
Never change, Rob.. you hear me? Stay true to who you are. Dirty hair and smelly clothes included :)
Tess- Yeah the mall tour was insane with all the girls screaming. I bet he even had nightmares were he was waking up screaming.Going through that mess would've made anybody jumpy. Poor Rob.:(
I respectfully disagree about the panic attacks...remember what he told the GQ reporter he took to take the edge off. Possibly for the Academy Awards he took something for his nerves...???
Anon~A good rule of thumb for a monthly magazine interview is that it was done three months prior. I think this one added the extra, short last-minute interview that was more timely because the initial interview was already out of date.
As far as Rob contradicting himself, I think a lot of this has to do with the "age" of the interview. Things can change pretty rapidly. Also, there can be many answers to the same question...

Rob Weekly-we can dream! He is amazing! I luv him!
Goz-Do you know what he is making on the movies? Should be 50% or more because he is the "cash cow".
I didn't know you lived in Turkey. Cool!

Cool, Goz! Is the NY Times article on here somewhere? I forgot what it said :/

Oh, I had not read the 2cond page, this article is quite good because they are much more precise than others timewise! it's what's often missing.

GOZDE ~ I agree completely. He exaggerates more than anyone else in the whole wide "wuhld". :)
"DONT CRY FOR ME ROBERTINA"
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I still have tears in my eyes from laughing out loud for minutes.
That was quite witty I have to say.
whew.. reading that made me anxious.. he seems to have been having a few very bad days during the period he was interviewed for this.
Doesn't surprise me.. wasn't the Maul Tour in full swing?
Tess- Yeah the mall tour was insane with all the girls screaming. I bet he even had nightmares were he was waking up screaming.Going through that mess would've made anybody jumpy. Poor Rob.:(
Thanks for this, Goz! I really liked this article. His mood sounds a little different than it has in others.
Hello Goz and thanks as always...
