Did anyone see the other deleted kiss scene - not alot of Mormoness there, probably Stephenie had a fit!!!!! Anyway as for this one, my favourite part is Rob taking control and pushing her onto the bed (dominant!), but the kiss itself...have to agree with some of you here, if you disect it, his lips are above hers and it looks wierd or awkward....but I would take it still - not complaining!!!!

I totally undertand though phosphorus. I think its respectful for the actors partners to miss the mouth :)
Perhaps that was the first take and she felt a bit akward, perhaps it was the sixth take and she lost concentration in that one. Perhaps she wanted to show that for Bella kissing a vampire for the very first time is a bit akward, after all, Bella doesn't know what will happen he could be at her throat at the very next moment.
Ah, and actors fake kisses not only out of respect for the actors' partners.

I meant it as a reply to "Why does KStew look like she's not enjoying it." Since some of you obviously didn't know about faked kisses in films, I thought it might be helpful to remind people of working routines on film sets, where a scene usually requires several takes.
I think that was just a comment I agreed on cause GOD DAMMIT, I would definitely enjoy fake kissing Robert Pattinson 100 million takes. :)
I agree with Goz that it's a "I have to have you now" kiss (so hot!) and well, his eyes were closed. That can make it hard to aim.
But, who cares? His lips are divine and he could kiss me anywhere he wants.

Phosphorus is correct about the "movie kiss"-- you have to cross both faces and lips above the other so you get a nice camera shot. Otherwise, the viewer cannot see anything except two heads smashed together and there is no art to it. I've been told it is quite awkward and uncomfortable, especially with a crew watching.
Don't shoot me but I think Rob has such a nice ease and sweetness to his personality that casting directors would be hard put to find someone who wouldn't have chemistry with him.
I highly doubt that he'll ever have to worry again about "chemistry" since he'll be the first one cast! ~Chicago girl now in LA.
PS~I love this scene because Rob's hair is more normal for him and there's no kabuki makeup. He looks like himself and so much more attractive! ~Chicago girl in LA.
