i think she was playing dumb about not recognizing who he was, but why?? She had just seen him present the romance montage after all.
It was her way of setting up the "he's a sexy devil" comment. Tina is a woman - of course she noticed the HOT man in the row in front of her.

Of course she knew who he was... he is the hot sexy devil that in a recent interview called her an extremely sexy woman!

Lucky girl that Tina Fey...maybe she'll have a little trist with Rob and all of us in the over 30 crowd can wish we were her.
Tina Fey is happily married with a child...I dont think anyone wants Rob to get involved with crap like that...and I personally dont think he or Tina are the kind that would do anything of the sort, she is a comedian who said that for laughs. He IS a sexy devil, though!
Crazy, she wasn't playing dumb, she knew exactly who he was, she played this for laughs, that's her job/personality. At around 9 minutes into the interview she mentions Rob by name, she and Jimmy were looking at photos of her and it had something to do with looking like a vampire and she said his name.
Seriously, he's jizzing in his pants somewhere right now.

hmmm...i think you're all right about Tina and the Rob comment. And i think, too, she wanted to be sure there was mention of him. Sweet, actually. and yes, "tit for tat". :)
Smitten, do you really want Rob to commit adultery with someone? You think that's okay to fool around with married people? I would lose all respect for him if he did that. The guy doesn't even date single women, I hardly think he would be with a married one.
Two the most appropriate words about Robert "sexy devil", I think! In his eyes there is lurking temptation. And when you look at him you want him so badly, he must be a wizard or devil!
I remember in one early interview he wouldn't say what women he found attractive b/c he'd be very embarrassed if he ever met them. Then, later he says he likes Tina Fey and ends up sitting in front of her at the Oscars. I bet he just about died. I don't think he'll mention anyone by name anymore.
Yep, I bet Rob was embarasssed about sitting there. And he also admitted to crushing on Natalie Portman and her "beauty and grace" and then she goes over to talk to him at the Oscar party. I bet he was beet red from blushing! Her classy beauty and intellect would unnerve any guy, including Rob.

I was responding to the fact that there are so many of us online here who are happily married with children and OBSESS over this man like ALL THE TIME. Didn't mean to be misleading :(

Maybe she was just playing it cool, cuz if Rob had said ,I was the sexiest woman ever, I'd have referred to him as "my future husband."
I think it's somewhat of a setup publicity stunt. Of course Tina knows about Robert fancying her. She publicy had to say something about it so it makes it's way around the media.Therefore she can get a chance to be introduced to her at a party eventually. If she could get him on her show to make an appearance ratings would skyrocket.
