Hmmmm, that scene, the only thing I didn't like about it was the "lion and lamb" thing, its funny how something pretty poignant in the book can translate to pure cheese in the movie....(in my opinion)
has anyone recently pre-ordered the movie from Target? I finally decided that's the one I want but I'm afraid that since it's so late I won't get it march 21st. so I was wondering if anyone who recently ordered it from there was told when it would come.
@ Anonymous: Her editor should have noticed and done something about it. I sometimes had the impression that the editing wasn't done very well. Which is a pity because Meyer has good ideas (the empty pages with just the months on it in "New Moon", for example, I liked that) and she certainly keeps readers hooked. So she deserved an editor that is thorough and good at that job.
Phosphorus: I do not pretend to be a literary genius or expert by any stretch, but its funny when I was reading her books, I KNEW it was low quality writing bordering on pure cheese, but somehow I was really enjoying them anyway. Perhaps, I just liked the overall plot and the characters, and forgave the details because of it...dunno.

I didn't like it in the book, either. I considered it to be just kitsch.

Okay, so after watching the deleted scenes and knowing that this book is coming out...how can Summit not release a "Director's Cut"?
Bet it comes out right before "New Moon" is released!!!
Phosphorus..yeah, you are probably right, Meyer is alot of things, but she is no Austin (nor is she pretending to be of course)...
Allie2, I ordered from Target on March 1st. It won't be shipped until the 23rd and won't be delivered until the 26th-30th.
