Those last two scenes broke my heart.. each of them struggling to see something of their old selves in one another.. Dali needing/wanting a little acknowledgment for what he'd become.. I'm going to love this movie..

I don't think we need to worry about the quality of the film. Paul Morrison, director, is highly respected in the film community and every clip I've seen is stunning. Rob has totally nailed Dali's personality.
Maybe we can get this into wide release if we start a campaign to get our local theaters to show it. What do you think ladies? We have TONS of influence when we choose to use it!

What the French! How much longer do I have to wait to see this?? All this anticipation is killing me. I'm excited to see Rob portray such a character. I studied Dali for art history and although he was very talented...he was also very...hmm...strange. IDK how else to put it. So yeah, I will get a double dose of excitement when I see this!!

YES!!! I can see we have a movement started here. Let's all bombard our local theaters with requests to show Little Ashes. I'll bet if they get enough calls, emails, letters, etc; (and maybe the same to the corporate offices) we'll see some action. Wow I'm amazed at his performance! I can't hardly see any of Rob, he has completely become Dali. You can see the inner struggle these men are dealing with. A relationship that was forbidden during that time. Dali was such an eccentric man and I think Rob has captured him perfectly.

Hey Crazy, found you again ... Rob's parents were in the audience on the Ellen show the day that she had him on as a guest. I'm not sure but I'll bet you can find it on YouTube 'cause it was a rib-tickling, gut-yowling, hilarious interview. He was SO FUNNY and so innocent at the same time. They showed his parents at the very beginning of the show. They just look like ordinary folks. But have you seen his SISTERS??? They are both rockin' gorgeous just like him ~ especially Lizzy.

A great thing about playing Dali is you can be really weird and it will fit Dali's character.
