I absolutely love this scene, and I think it should be in the movie...it would just one sweet moment, I mean they ignored all of the Cullens and this would be just something to fix that.
Aw, that should have been left in, there wasn't enough Carlisle/Esme time. Nice to see them interacting with each other...
I actually wished for more Carlisle/Esme, Alice/Jasper, Rose/Emmett time, one on one, so you got to know their relationships more, and less of James/Vic/Laurent running through the woods, guy on dock getting killed, guy in warehouse getting killed...I know they had to set up the whole James thing but I found those scenes super tedious...I skip through them when I rewatch Twilight on youtube....

That was cool. I agree with all of you, it should have been left in the movie. It just gives it a feel of how close the entire family is. Also it gave me goosebumps to see some flirting going on between Carlisle and Esmee.

It's a good thing my Doctor doesn't look like that I'd be sick A LOT. Agree. Why the hell did they take out so many of the romantic scenes? This is great. I love how you can see Edward and Bella out the window and they are soooo sweet together.

Yeap Alie and AJ i think you got it covered between ye that's what I heard too and I would have loved to have seen this in the movie. I think (especially for people that didn't read the books) they didn't let people get to know the other characters at all. I love the others as much as Edward and Bella and I think the movie audience are missing out big time!

Anon~I agree that the killer vampire storyline in the film hurt the romantic focus of "Twilight."
This was a lovely scene. What a shame they cut it!
How did they cut this and then leave in the "buttcrack santa" scene? And by the timer in the corner, it is 46 seconds, it isn't as though this would have pushed the movie into being way too long. Most of us would have been happy to sit through another hour --or more-- of the movie! (except the chinchilla droppings--wtf?) I guess that is why I am not a movie maker....
