I can confirm that 4 tracks will have Robert singing and playing; his character in the film is a struggling musician, so they are songs he sings in the film itself. This news will be officially announced shortly….

It sort of bothers me that they would be putting out a CD of music from this movie when the character is supposed to be a mediocre musician. That tells me that the studio is just trying to make money of the Rob Pattinson gravy train. If he wasn't so hot right now, they would most likely not be releasing a CD at all. Because as we all know, normally, who of us would knowingly buy a CD of mediocre music?

I totally agree, Anon. I saw the movie, and believe me, the songs were NOT good! The only good thing was watching Rob sing them.
In one scene, Rob was playing his songs for a group of people, and no one clapped. One guy even held up his arm and gave him a big thumbs down! LOL!
Maybe they're tweaking the songs a bit, for marketing??? Studios can do wonders with so-so music.

Not that I need to be wearing my Rob glasses to find the image of him shaving his own head incredibly hot. I agree with you that it was probably very cathartic for him. Of course, the new hair got just as much attention but still, it was pretty out of control there at the end.
Emily - Gotta love the Rob glasses and ear muffs! It still boggles my mind that everything he does, wears, says, or sings is attractive no matter what. I think my theme song for him should be "Every Little Thing HE Does is Magic" (notice the slight change to the original Police lyrics/title) Hehe.
And you're right, his hair was getting pretty out of control at the end. I mean, I love me some sex hair, but it was getting to be more like mop hair for awhile there :) Not that I'm complaining though... Rob with mop hair is still way hotter than most!

Good call on the song! That could definitely be Rob's theme song. The mop hair was still sexy but he seemed so annoyed with it. The short hair was freakin hot. I wish we got to see more of it before he went into hiding. :) Looks like now it's almost back to bouffant length, just in time for New Moon.
And yes, the new banner is so lovely. Did you notice the forearm picture on the top right? I know I'm not the only one who has a thing for his forearms, right? Even dorky Rob is schmexy.
Ohhh yeah, I noticed the forearm shot right away :) Good hands and forearms have always been a weakness of mine, and Rob is clearly blessed with both.
Yeah, I'm sad we didn't see more of Rob with the short hair, too, because it was most definitely schmexy. But, I must admit that the bouffant hairdo holds a special place in my heart :) I'd be happy if he had the bouffant hairdo for the movie, and then cut it as soon as he was done filming so that he had short hair for all the NM promo stuff :)
The bouffant hair totally works for Edward's character and Rob, of course, completely pulls it off. But I still say they should have just left his hair how it always is for the movie. Imagine Edward with Rob's Sex Drive premiere hair. Mmmm...

Just a sad note here.. Mindy sent me two cd's in the mail full of Rob songs and interviews. (sigh) A large elephant must've sat on the package because it arrived damaged with a huge 'crater' in the middle (not a hole) of the 'song' cd.. I could listen to 4 songs, and then right at the beginning of "I'll be your Lover", Rob starts sounding like a dying calf in hail storm.. and it stops.
