I cannot wait for this movie! I watched Rob walk away in the background of the video the entire time just to get a glimpse of that sexy ass! LOL Just like that scene in Twilight when he walks away from Bella in the hall. Damn, that boy's got a sexy little walk. YUM.
I´m also so exited about that film! And that scene can break your heart! Dali was such a strange person. Somehow the total opposite of how I imagine Rob to be. Rob is kind of postive, goofy strange ;-) That makes me even more curious about him playing Salvador... Thanks for posting, Goz!
Ooh thanks Goz love that scene and ya Keely totally agree about Dali, very strange man but Rob seems to portray him perfectly. Can't wait to see this movie!!
"... Haven't we all had a moment like that? You run into someone where there is still residual feeling. But you can't say or do anything to make it better." That just gives me shivers, Tess. You´re so right! Situaton like that are awful, when you onced shared something strong with someone... I can´t stop watching teaser #6, it´s so nice! Btw, not important, but I wonder how old Javier Beltrán is.
Thank you, Tess :-* I couldn´t find that out when I googled, but I had thought he is older. Maybe it´s the hair ;-) Robs voice or what he can do with it, really suprised me in this film. In some parts of the teasers I´m not sure I would´ve even recognized it as his. A man with a talented tongue ;-) I had a fascination for Dali when I was younger. And as I saw that teaser it remembered me that I once read that his parents had a son before him called Salvador Dali, too, who died. When Dali was born 9 month later they believed he was a reincarnation of that child and gave him the same name. I don´t know where this comes from now, I guess I just pitty Lorca and try to find a reason for this strangeness ;-)
Keely LMAO... talented tongue... God I only wish I knew how many talents that he really has.... I too cant wait for this movie.. he looks so different in a good way!! cant wait to see him up on the big screen again... been missing the man... pictures arent cutting the obsessing lately....
LOL Tenneil, you know what happens to us obsessed people, don´t you ;-) Soon we´re going to kill for new pics from him, hide them under our jackets and look at them at secret places ;-) Just kidding, girl, I can´t wait to see him on screen, too :-)
You're right, Keely. I have degrees in art and have studied Dali for a long time. He was the consummate "performance artist" before there was such a thing. He DID believe he was a reincarnation of his brother.
It's obvious, from what I've seen so far, that the director and screenwriter fought to stay true to the facts (as much as we know)about his early friends and associates. Lorca was undeniably the love of Dali's life and he admitted as much to Ian Gibson, a biographer, on his deathbed. He and Gala were married but never had a normal "married" relationship. She always seemed more of his artistic agent and manager to me. There is speculation that he may have had Asperger's Syndrome, before anyone really knew anything about it, because he had an aversion to being touched. I think he is possibly one of the greatest artists that has ever lived...and that's saying A LOT!
Smitten, I heard that about Ian Gibson and Gala, too. I agree with you and believe he truly admired Gala, but a relationship in a " normal " sense- whatever that maybe ;-)- is something I just can´t imagine Dali to have. Just speculation, don´t want to sound impudent ;-) Never thought of it, but Asperger really fits in here. For me, it´s just so exited to see how our boy will manages to bring that complex character to life :-)
Yeah, Keely, complex and very fascinating to see Rob immersed in this challenging role. He's such an intellectual, sensitive guy. Brilliant casting decision I think.
Javier Beltran looks years older in the Lorca role. Have you seen his videobook on his website? He's super HOT! Egad! I don't know how I'll survive a movie with both Rob and Javier in it :)
The most brilliant casting decision, I would say ;-) Both seem to be great for their rolls. I so can not wait to see the movie. I should get myself a ticket to NY and do some shopping on the 27th,too;-) Yes, I saw it, while trying to find out how old he is. I liked that the homepage was kept in a simple style. I must admit that I never saw a movie with him before.
LOL, nice talking to you, too. Unfortunatly I got to leave now, have to get up early tomorrow morning. It's already 9p.m. here in Germany and I still got some stuff to do. My fault cause I was lazy all day long ;-) See you soon, have fun :-*

wonderful.
The eye contact was so full of emotion.. No words, none needed.
Haven't we all had a moment like that? You run into someone where there is still residual feeling. But you can't say or do anything to make it better.
Just amazing. I'm really looking forward to seeing this.
Austin ladies! ;)

keely-did a quick search, and the best I can come up with is 25 (and this was stated as possibly) from Barcelona.
;)

Laura, I watched "the walk and wiggle" too. :)
Tess, beautifully put.
And SO much emotion conveyed in Rob's eyes.
Oh, I wish I could go to Austin. You ladies need to have a video going 24/7 for the rest of us!

Me either. But what a find! I wish I was fluent in Spanish 'cause I'd love to watch some of his other stuff. Looks like mostly TV so far.
Fun to talk to you, Keely ... where are you?

Oh, WOW, Germany! Sleep well :)
Talk to you later.
