Okay, guilty admission time. Early in the store in the mornings, I go over to the teen mags cuz they are the only ones that have pix of Rob right now and flip through them to my heart's content.
Then I plug in my flashdrive and do a Rob slideshow....

I don't mind his boots. They are so Rob. Like, "I've found a right and a left that match each other, that's good enough! Couldn't care less what they look like." I'm pretty sure the mag is just making stuff up when it says how they were all muddy and tracked dirt everywhere. The finish has just worn off.
