It's good to know what helps. I still have issues and it's been a long time. I couldn't imagine loosing both my parents. It didn't effect my siblings as much. They were much older at the time though. Not that that matters.
Lynn-The innerworkings are not this fun, trust me. I work at the mermaid coffe shop inside the bullseye store. It's my own little microcosm, so I have to have a delicate balance with my other team memebers.
Stacy---I was 26 and I was still a total basketcase for several years. We also lost a cousin the same accident, who left behind a husband and two small boys. It was weird, I had not one hand in that accident but I still felt some survivor's guilt for those kids. Very Dark Edwardesque! LOL
Argg! I keep having to stop myself from going over to fan fiction and reading WA!

OMG, Stacy! I guess some where in the human condition that we all perservere some how. I was told not too long after the accident that I would never forget the love and memories but that it would start to hurt a little less each day. It's kind of true!
You do, but it sure didn't feel like it. It took longer for it to hit with my father because I was young and he had been sick for a few months. With my boyfriend it was hard. It was sudden and I was lost in a wierd way. I went through a very rough time then. I became a different person. I did push on, but it will always leave that mark.
Maybe she was inspired to write some smut.
