Extra has this piece about Rob's fashion choice from the UK premiere:
The "Twilight" hottie sent heat waves through chilly London for the "Twilight" premiere in this dark brown, two-button, notch label Dolce & Gabbana suit. He also sported a white shirt and charcoal tie by famed designers D&G.
and yahoo has a video of Rob at UK Twilight premiere HERE, it doesn't load well for me but AJ says this video claims New Moon will be shooting in Canada and Italy.

Yeah I read in one of the British articles about them shooting in Canada and Italy. But I kinda took it with a grain of salt. So much of the British stuff has had inaccuracies. I'm hoping they will still film in Portland they kind of have to Cullen house and Bella's house are in the area.
Though I have heard that filming in Vancouver is cheaper than the states.

Are they still going to be shooting in Oregon and Southern Washington? Although the "Forks" and "Port Angeles" in the movie don't look like the real towns I think it would be pretty noticible if the school, Bella's house, the Cullens' house, and all of the other buildings looked completely different.
Lisa - Rob is the one that says it will be filmed in Canada and Italy.
AJ---I would imagine that Summit and the Twifranchise producers will choose to film in Canada for financial reasons.
Lynn - yes it's cheaper. They film a lot up here. Brokeback Mountain was filmed not far from Calgary where I live.
AJ---great minds think alike...I almost mentioned BBM (one of my all time faves). Yes, the mountains and forestry make for phenomenal backdrops. Rob's quivering lips will be back in action!
Yes, he'll be freezing his skinny butt off. They will either film in lower B.C. or near Banff is my guess. Fewer fans to bother them either way.
AJ---I am clueless to Canadian geography (dh makes fun of me all the time...he's from Ohio and sounds like a Canadian). Lower British Columbia further south by the US border, right?

Words cannot express how excited I was when I read the part about filming in Canada. Finally something exciting might happen here! Except for they're most likely filming in Vancouver and I live in lousy Toronto... sigh
I'm from Canada! If they decide to shoot some parts of the Italy scenes in canda, theuy sure gonna do it in quebec city. It looks just like europe... and I know that's what they did for Catch me if you can. It would be so cool!
