I'm with Rose and Em, I wouldn't know one designer from another...but would look good in just a pair of RayBans. doesn't matter, it could be anything, clothes OR props...
Lynn- breastfeeding can get in the way of a good night of drinking that's for sure. I'm BF right now and I look forward to the day when I can toss a few back without calculating how long it will take to be out of my system.
Yikes Dana! I'm glad everything turned out okay. Childbirth is such a crazy thing. Sometimes I think it's a miracle that everything even goes as smoothly as it does. Women rock, seriously. We're so much tougher than men.
Dani - Make sure and measure that inseam several times. "Rob, you'll need to hold absolutely still for this to be accurate. You wouldn't want you pants being too snug in the crotch, would you?" *mentally subtracts an inch or two to ensure proper tightness* "I haven't moved at all! And don't you think 8 times is sufficient?" "Hush. Do you want to make it 9?"
Bringing forth a child is such a woman's extreme loving sacrifice and I know a relative that just came back from Prague to get pregnant and she just flew back yesterday with two embryos implanted. Some people go through a lot of trouble to get pregnant.
I pumped in a rental car (while driving) on one of the major highways in LA after my shit of a boss (thank God I don't work for her anymore) decided to send me to LA for 3 days when the babe was 2 months old. My boobs were huge and painful the whole time... yuk.
Rose - I was just drooling over my copy of InStyle today. Not sure what designer he was wearing...I guess it really doesn't matter. The man is sex on legs and can wear whatever he wants.
Lynn- yes a breast pump might ruin the "what happens in vegas..." mood. I was lucky enough to go to vegas before I got pregnant, and thank God for that because who knows when I'll be able to go back.
I didn't breast feed past the first two months. He never latched on, I pumped the entire time. And then one day it just dried up.
People tried to make me feel bad for not breast feeding though, like I had to explain it to them why. I seriously almost yelled at this woman when i was at the natural foods grocery and she was up in my business about it with the questions.
Like damn lady. My boobs my baby my problem and what is with the crazy bitches on the leche league cramming the guilt at you.
Sheesh! I wasn't breast fed and I'm still awesome. Wish I could have for Hay but he is a healthy boy regardless.
Dana---the baby was so ready to wean that it only took 3 days (she was almost a year). And, it was truly worth it! We went made quite the impression at the Olympic Gardens!
Dani - that does piss me off. All the "you're a crap mother" shit that people throw around. My good friend had a little boy a week ago and he just wouldn't take to it... she's beating herself up about it, but jeez... I was bottle fed, she was bottle fed... most people between the age of 10 and 30 were... it's fine!
I stopped BF with Jimmy when he was a little over 8 months and at that point he was drinking formula as well. With Angelina I am going to try to make it at least 6 months--unless she gets teeth--then we are done
Dani---you do what you have to do as a mother! I live in the land of the earth mothers and all my friends BF so it was always the norm. My older two did both and were fine!
Ellie---I saw an attachment parenting group at Legoland one time and it freaked me out to see 4 and 5 year olds nursing. Some things are best done at home!
Dani - Don't even get me started on the guilt trips of not breast feeding. People will tell you anything. They'll have a lower IQ, they'll get tons of ear infections, they'll whatever. People can make statistics say whatever they want them too. I don't care if people breastfeed or don't. Awesome if you do, you're not a bad mother if you don't. I tried and tried and read every book people told me to and met with specialists and I finally just said, screw it. Motherhood is hard enough without making yourself feel guilty about things out of your control. That's my little rant. I'll try again with this next one but I'm not going to drive myself crazy over it.
Anyway, back to Rob. I think Rob seeing himself as a doll would creep him out more than anything.
Lynn- thanks. When I was a teenager I loved the name Jordan. It was between Angelina or Avery. My husband picked Avery but since our son is Jimmy jr. after him I got my way and we went with Angelina.
I asked my husband if he ever wished he could have bf our daughter, and he said, all the time. Sounds icky, but he was referring to the closeness between mother and child.
Jovie - it's a comedy series. It's on BBC America I think, and you can rent it from Netflix. HILARIOUS. So funny... everyone here has the right sense of humour for this show.
I'm not into dolls. Can't stand them and I'm not one of those single women who like stuffed animals on her bed, that's shit. I am classy, my house is classy, modern and not cluttered. I hate stuffed animals on a bed. I wouldn't have to push stuffed animals off my bed for Rob when we start kissing on my bed.
Of course, he had to taste it, too, in his COFFEE!!! Can we all have a collective EEEWWWW???? Okay, it was from a premie bottle, I didn't squirt it from across the room...although I was perfectly capable of doing that, too...
Ladies, surfer guy is here after me calling him back. Have fun talking breast feeding and babies. I'll write for advice if I ever need it. I know where to turn to if I do. But I'll only become pregnant if it's Rob.
Thanks Lynn! Nite lovies! I'm going to get your movie Lynn now you know how I'm a sucker for the book scences. Rob shoving me up against books, I'll leave with that tonight. Sweet dreams.
Lynn, I know, the Twifreak with the Lion and the Lamb tattoo. Yikes. I thought long and hard about my tattoo's and was on the waiting list to get in with a particular artist so I got what I wanted. It's for life... gotta think about it!
Ellie - my hubby had a taste too. Wasn't impressed... too sweet!!!
Kat---my next one will be my maiden name in Kanji characters. But, I want an actual Japanese tattoo artist to do it. It's scary how many ppl claim to know Japanese characters.
And no Ellie, with the economy the way it is and me being a stay at home mommy I don't think another babe would be in my best interest now. I have my girl and boy so I think I'm all done.

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 315 of 315 Newer› Newest»Kat---Jordan never took a bottle...I finally weaned her in order to go to Vegas for my 30th birthday. YAY me! such a fine mother!
I agree Rose, he looked so classy in London.
I'm with Rose and Em, I wouldn't know one designer from another...but would look good in just a pair of RayBans. doesn't matter, it could be anything, clothes OR props...
Dani---I love Jean Paul Gaultier! I would also vie for Betsey Johnson to do something really outlandish for Rob.....
Thanks for all the love ladies. You all will be some of the first to know when a baby infiltrates me uterus.
Em keep us informed on your new baby in belly. I love pregnant people its fun times hearing what we go through to give the little squirts life.
REgarding the breastfeeding, I went 15 months...of course, at the end, it was just to get her to sleep. Three sucks and she was a goner...
I just still think the Rob only fashion show would be smoking, rocking hot, we could chose the music also, after the designers.
Lynn, my hubby is a stay at home Daddy - so I did the whole pumping thing for the most part. At about 7 months she turned her nose up at the boob :-)
Anyway... how off topic can we get!
The designer I vote for is Birthday Suit...
Lynn- breastfeeding can get in the way of a good night of drinking that's for sure. I'm BF right now and I look forward to the day when I can toss a few back without calculating how long it will take to be out of my system.
What was Rob wearing in Vanity Fair? He looked pretty hot in those clothes...

Some people go through a lot of trouble to get pregnant.
Oh wait...was that INSTYLE...I'm confused now.
Yes, Yes Birthday Suit. Maybe Rob could do one of those naked ads for PETA.
Dana... pump and dump.... pump and dump. :-)
I vote for that, Dana!
Having my 2 boys was the best thing I have ever done.
Or one of those naked ads for me?
Dana---I mentioned bringing a pump to Vegas and I got the "oh hell, no!" comment from dh. He was the one that pushed me to do it!
I's share the pics... honest I would...
Kathryn--Jules need that photo for the cover of her latest fanfic! hahaha
Kat---nekkid ads work for me!
Could you imagine opening a magazine and finding him with only a pair of Ray Bans on?!?!?
My brain is on fire trying to picture that right now.
http://everglowmedia.net/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=532
Speaking of clothes...have you seen the Edward and Bella dolls?
Love what they are wearing!
Dana---my BFF used to work for PetCo and there was a PETA rep that would come to their public meetings dressed in a parrot costume.
Parrot costume or nekkidness?
Oh.... only a pair of Raybans. Nice. I likey that image...
Lynn- yes a breast pump might ruin the "what happens in vegas..." mood. I was lucky enough to go to vegas before I got pregnant, and thank God for that because who knows when I'll be able to go back.
Nekkid, definitely nekkid.
Kat---let down sucks when the babe is not around!
Emily~ I know...he looks good wrinkled and dirty. But he dresses up REAL nice.
I didn't breast feed past the first two months. He never latched on, I pumped the entire time. And then one day it just dried up.

Does you girls remember the whipped cream bikini in the movie Varsity Blues.
Whipped cream skivvies on Rob...sweet Lord
Those dolls look different than the other ones I've seen. The constipated one.... hmmmm.
Dana---the baby was so ready to wean that it only took 3 days (she was almost a year). And, it was truly worth it! We went made quite the impression at the Olympic Gardens!
The Rob doll sure beats the hell out of the old Ken dolls...
I like the way they posed the dolls to look like the poster.
Pretty cool
Dani - that does piss me off. All the "you're a crap mother" shit that people throw around. If Rob ever read this blog he would probably say,
"WTF?????????!!!!!!!!!!!"
"I'm seriously scared!"
Dani---you do what you have to do as a mother! I live in the land of the earth mothers and all my friends BF so it was always the norm. My older two did both and were fine!
My husband's cousins all belong to La Leche. they BF until the kids are about 3. Or until another one comes along...Kinda' disturbing to me.
Man, Dana I LUV your avatar.
I never knew my pick up line for Rob at a pub would lead to all this talk about breastfeeding.
LOL
Dana---I love the name, Angelina! I wanted Jordan to be Angela, but, it's a hard name for my husband.
Yup, that avatar is pretty damn dreamy. (Did I just say pretty damn dreamy???)
Ellie- It's like in that movie Baby Mama where the kid is like 7 and comes in for a drink :P
Jovie.... lets see what topic you can get us all onto now :-)
Kathryn Portland is filled with naturo nonsense. I fed my damn kid because he was hungry and I won't feel awful about that.
Hi Rob! *waves hello* hope you like the teat talk.
Have any of you seen "Little Britain" talking of innapropriate breastfeeding?
Ellie---I saw an attachment parenting group at Legoland one time and it freaked me out to see 4 and 5 year olds nursing. Some things are best done at home!

Anyway, back to Rob. I think Rob seeing himself as a doll would creep him out more than anything.
Dana--Eww..I didn't see the movie, and now I don't know if I want to. Creepy. lol
Lynn- thanks. When I was a teenager I loved the name Jordan. It was between Angelina or Avery. My husband picked Avery but since our son is Jimmy jr. after him I got my way and we went with Angelina.
Kat---I use to mess with ppl by flashing them...BF is natural...ppl need to get over it!
Rob would approve of the teat talk!
Dani - really, for some reason I didn't expect Portland to be that way. Not sure why! That sucks though that people judged you on something so minor.
Teat Talk sounds like the name of a morning show...
Ellie- LMFAO
Emily... well said. So true.
All men are fascinated with BF...fathers or not!
lol Kat
and I would love to know more about "Little Britain"
I haven't heard of the movie.
I asked my husband if he ever wished he could have bf our daughter, and he said, all the time. Sounds icky, but he was referring to the closeness between mother and child.

I hate stuffed animals on a bed.

Lynn- so true. My brother-in-law who at the time was 21 asked me what it felt like.
Regarding the closeness--I don't think there's anything like it.
Ellie---that's so sweet! I don't think that my dh ever shared that interest...just a lot of empathy and support.
I'll look it up Kat, I am picturing his smile in #9 as I'm talking to you.
I have his smile tattoo-ed on the inside of my eyelids :-)
Dana---see guys are always curious! There are even websites that cater to that stuff...no mysteries there.
I loved the movie Baby Mama
Of course, he had to taste it, too, in his COFFEE!!! Can we all have a collective EEEWWWW????
Okay, it was from a premie bottle, I didn't squirt it from across the room...although I was perfectly capable of doing that, too...
Kat---any other tatoos?
He didn't like it; dumped out the cup. lol
Ladies, surfer guy is here after me calling him back.
Have fun talking breast feeding and babies.
I'll write for advice if I ever need it.
I know where to turn to if I do.
But I'll only become pregnant if it's Rob.
Ellie---yes, that curiosity was also covered in our home.
Lynn... a couple... but not Rob related :-)
Jov---have fun!
just caught your comment Kat
LOL, luv you
Good, I was hoping I wasn't the only one...
Jov--nite-nite!
Kat---I hope that noone ever gets a Rob related tat. Gawd, even the Twitats freak me out!
See ya Jov :>
Thanks Lynn!
Nite lovies!
I'm going to get your movie Lynn now you know how I'm a sucker for the book scences.
Rob shoving me up against books, I'll leave with that tonight.
Sweet dreams.
Okay, back to Rob:
I would never, ever want to...
Oh, shit, can't think of anything cool...
Night Jov...
I would Never Ever want to walk around wearing only his dirty t-shirt the morning after...
I would never ever want to suck off his Edward lipstick in his trailer after a long day on the set of NM.
Kat---my next one will be my maiden name in Kanji characters. But, I want an actual Japanese tattoo artist to do it. It's scary how many ppl claim to know Japanese characters.
I would never, ever want him to give me his Team Robert thong that Tyree-ree gave him and have him say,"Put it on and take one for the team..." lol
Can't believe I just typed that...
Yeah, I wouldn't trust that it was being done EXACTLY right if it was in characters I myself didn't know...
I want to get something (not text) to represent my daughter. But I'm not sure what yet.
Well, I need to tend to my man! I will talk to you lovelies tomorrow!
Good night!
ELLIE.... LMAO.....
And I forgot that he called me "Love"
Me too... busy day tomorrow before the trip.

*big hug for you.
Ellie- I'm not the pregnant one!!!
But hugs back at ya anyway :)
OOOOPs---That's Emily!

Anyway, a big hug for you, still.
Nite-nite.
Ya wanna be pregnant??? hahaha
Ok I'm really going to bed now. Talk to you all tomorrow.
Same Rob time.
Same Rob place.
Same Rob channel.
xoxoxo
That was a stupid retort. I'm tired. :)
And no Ellie, with the economy the way it is and me being a stay at home mommy I don't think another babe would be in my best interest now. I have my girl and boy so I think I'm all done.
Nite!

I'm really sorry I got that wrong, Dana...nite and talk to you tomorrow.
