Emily- Wow, those women need to get a life. I love Twilight, but I know I'm not Bella and that it's fiction. Those women jumped into a sea of insanity, and I'm nowhere near the cliffs.
Thanks Jovie...But I too must bug out...I have to be at work at 5:00 a.m. For you folks I'm in Central time... and I'm too filled up on my fav vodka martinis to do the math...
But..I'm sure that little light will come on soon....
Luv ya too Jules. Sweet dreams, I think you dream easier than I do. I think I have to put on Emily or Ellie's Rob beanie, to help the dreams come. I'll e-mail you.
I should probably be heading to bed also. Thanks for the fun, ladies, and thanks Dani and Goz for all the Rob goodies we enjoy every day. Hmm...Rob's goodies...with that I'll be saying good night!
Sabrina - lol! Good description once again. At first I thought it was teenagers but nope, adult women. Can you say TwiMom? And Jov - I'll be sending my best wishes for Rob filled dreams for you tonight!
Brrrr! It's 26 degrees in Tacoma right now. We got a little snow on Saturday and Sunday and I think we are supposed to get more on Wednesday. It is really unusual to get snow in December around here.
Really? I hear ya. I do hope it snows on Christmas thou. Where I live it's kind of mild climate year round where flowers grow year round in Carmel. I love living on the coast, I often don't like going inland but worse in the winter time.
When he makes his entrance. I really liked that one also. I was with someone who had NO idea how much I like Rob and I kept everything hidden what I was feeling during watching Rob in Twilight.
I hope it snows on Christmas too, I've never experienced a white Christmas. I just hope it won't impact holiday plans. We always go over to my uncle's house on Christmas Eve and it's always really fun.
I agree, they made him look very good in the gazebo scene, his hair and suit, I loved the little piece of hair that hung down. It's interesting my favorite scene in the movie isn't in the book.
I am going where the are four nieces and nephews, so it should be hilarius. I have a two year old nephew that thinks he's a monkey. Today, he almost climbed on top of the kitchen cabinet part, my relative told me. I am looking forward to seeing those crazy kids. Kids do hilarious things, I'll probably help wrap them up for the snow. It will remind me of the scene in "The Christmas Story' when the mother wraps the kids up for the snow and it takes 10 minutes of putting things on them.
I loved the little lock of hair that was out of place. I think they butchered my favorite scenes from the book and the prom scene was one thing that was actually better than the book. It didn't really fit the vibe of Forks, but I didn't mind a little creativity in that scene.
I agree. You know what would be so interesting would be to see Twilight done from three different directors. Pick one out of three. *smiling* almost 6 hours of Rob.
I like that idea. I have no problem seeing an additional 4 hours of Rob. I would like them to have 3 different screen writers as well. The majority of the script was craptastic.
lol. When he made his entance I think I was biting my lower lip to hide my smile. Then during the gazebo, I held my heart under whatever I was wearing. Oh my pea coat. I have a pea coat and I wore that. I have never bought anything Twilight or Rob related except the books and the second EW mag.
I bought the second EW mag and the Rolling Stone issue. I have a Team Edward and a Cullen crest shirt, but I feel stupid wearing them since Twilight has become so popular.
When I go to a theatre I always try to get the very back all the way up top so people don't see me cry. I cry easily at movies. I think I'll go one more time and let myself try to cry during the gazebo scene, if I feel so inclined.
I usually sit in the middle of the theater. I haven't felt like crying while watching Twilight, but I don't really cry at too many movies. Certain movies make me go into the ugly cry, like I Am Sam.
Thanks Sabrina. I got bumped when I deleted again. I am Sam made me cry also. I watched "The Family Stone" this last weekend for the I don't know how many times and cried again. Movies with mothers that have died make me cry. I've cried in so many movies I can't even remember them all.
I don't know why, but 27 Dresses made me cry. My mom cries easily at movies and she was shocked by how much that movie made me cry. I was trying to suppress my sniffles in the theater, it was kind of embarrassing.
Yeah, I think that was the problem. I couldn't really get into the romance of it because it was so effed up. Plus I didn't really like Kristen's portrayal of Bella, she seemed way to angsty.
That's sweet Sabrizzle. It's a sweet movie. I cried like crazy at the Grey Anatomy season with Izzy and dimple guy, like I told you.
One time I saw Madam X with Lana Turner and I swear I cried for ten minutes after that movie was over. It's about a mother and son and the mother is not good enough in the eyes of the mother in law and entraps her with a spanish guy and then she become an alcoholic and gets implicated in a crime and has a defense attorney assigned to her and it is her son. She doesn't know it's her son defending her. It is major tearfest.
I can understand that. Oh, Also how Rob looked in the cafe scene, that was also one of my absolute favorites, with his song playing. Sigh. Did you see the movie with your mother?
For me, and I can only speak for me, I just think they didn't capture enough of what made the book good. I have had so many, many people tell me that after reading Twilight and the rest of the books that it is difficult for them to get into other books. That almost everything they read after Twilight is boring.
That movie does sound really sad! I cried too during the episode of Grey's when Danny died and Izzy was laying next to him in her dress. I think the scene that made me cry so much in 27 Dresses was when her sister (I think) cut up her mother's wedding dress that she wanted to wear. I need to watch it again, it's been awhile.
I think one area they missed was not capturing the sexual tension, like him kissing her behind her ear and sliding his nose and lips along her jaw, etc. and the being in her bedroom all night for nights and nights. Coming out of the shower, etc. and he's in there waiting for her. That was pretty good stuff.
I saw Twilight the first time with my friend who made me read the books. We both agreed on a lot of the issues with the movie. I went with my mom tonight. She hasn't read the books yet, but she wants to if she has time later. I wish they would have just stuck to the book, it would have made more sense.
Yeah, they needed more sexual tension and romance. If you just watch the movie, their relationship doesn't really make much sense. I also wish they would have included the Cullens more.
Thanks Jules. I so, so wish I could have you two read it It has made me cry so much, three times during writing. When I let the relative read it, she asked if we could have a meeting and she opens the door and grabs me and just cries while holding me. She has no idea Rob is the male protagonist in the manuscript. But you guys would recognize him right away. he does some pretty incredible things in the story. I think you would laugh and cry alot. She read me the love making scenes of what she liked and I could hardly hear her read it, I felt like Rob at the radio station. I told her stop. I was cringing. I know she like it but for some reason I couldn't take it. Jov
Sorry about that, I get bumped off when I delete. I think I'll be more careful what I say. Yes, I think she is losing it Sabrina, because she misses him so much.
I don't want to break your heart Jules. I've had a lot in mine and I won't share now, but it has helped me so much in my writing and I wouldn't take any of my life experiences away because of it.
Okay...I'm off ladie...I must go to BED! It's really late here! It's almost 1 a.m. and I have to get up at 5 a.m...... CRAP!
Olive juice to all...Jovie...send me an email...we will catch up soon...Thanks for letting me share my opinion! I love even more for that now! You are one rocking, smart, observant chick!
You are such a strong Woman!!! That alone says it all....
Sabrina I think she loved dimple guy so much, that in her place she goes, she needs that to cope in how much she misses him, even if it's sacrificing her mental state. Sometimes when we suffer to cope our mind doesn crazy things.
Also, when he's in her bedroom and she's talking to him and telling him he's not real and he is waiting until she accepts he is. I think it's him waiting until she can let go of him.
I think she'll become a surgeon who journeys on and have so much compassion because of her loss. I love when the guys attacked her for modeling and not being a serious surgeon and then she said she was the only person entering her internship without debt because of her modeling. I love that part.
also, I like the writing in the show is showing another texture and depth to him that he's not a total prick, that somewhere inside he can actually really love someone and not just think of himself.
Yes, and Alex is finally deciding that he is willing to talk through things, which is what Izzy wanted him to do. I hope that she doesn't throw that away by pushing him away.
Dimple guy was in P.S. I Love you. with the other actress I like, Hilary Swank. I would of seen that movie just because the two of them, but I especially liked when dimple guy sang.:)
I think I've seen every episode also. I've forgotten a lot of things, but I'm pretty sure Izzy had a baby when she was 16 or so and she gave it up for adoption. And then something happened in an episode that brought up the subject.
Hilary Swank lived in a trailer park and her mother believed in her and took her down to LA and they slept in their car until she could get jobs. Of course you know the rest of the story with her Oscars later. I really like her. She is such a good role model for young girls.
Okay, hon thank you. Sorry for the typos, I am getting tired. Okay, this is really good night okay? I feel like a boyfriend when I am trying to hang up with them and we keep saying goodbye five times. lol

Dana, dammit! I hate to see you go.
I'll even eat cookies if you stay.
Emily- Wow, those women need to get a life. I love Twilight, but I know I'm not Bella and that it's fiction. Those women jumped into a sea of insanity, and I'm nowhere near the cliffs.
Emily, I wish I could dream more.
I hardly ever dream. I want to so badly.

XOXO! LUVS YA!
Jules!
Goodnight Dana! Happy baking!
LMAO, Sabrina. Good wording.
"jumped into a sea of insanity, and I'm nowhere near the cliffs."
I think there is a writer in there somewhere.
Jov- I'll try to get on here a little earlier tomorrow. It's gonna be a super busy week for me.
Olive Juice girls! Nite Nite :)
Goodnight Jules! Hot, sweaty Rob dreams to you!
Luv ya too Jules.
Sweet dreams, I think you dream easier than I do. I think I have to put on Emily or Ellie's Rob beanie, to help the dreams come.
I'll e-mail you.

Sabrina - lol! Good description once again. At first I thought it was teenagers but nope, adult women. Can you say TwiMom?
And Jov - I'll be sending my best wishes for Rob filled dreams for you tonight!
Haha, thanks Jov. I was just thinking of cliff diving in La Push when I read Emily's comment.
Thanks Dana, I'll look for you.
I'm going to try to be one this week as much as I can, after Sunday I fly out and I won't be on for awhile.
Goodnight Emily!
Where are you going Jov?
Thanks Emily.
I hope you have good dreams and lots of them.
Sabrina, what is your favorite part of the movie Twilight?
Colorado, below zero.
I live on the west coast and love it and I am not looking forward to going inland.
Oh, I don't know! I like the cafeteria scene and when Bella goes over to the Cullen's house. I really like the prom scene too.
Cafeteria scene with the apple or when Rob makes his appearance?
Brrrr! It's 26 degrees in Tacoma right now. We got a little snow on Saturday and Sunday and I think we are supposed to get more on Wednesday. It is really unusual to get snow in December around here.
Prom scene when they are on the gazebo?
When Rob enters the building. I think he looks smokin' in that shot. I like when he catches the apple, too. The first biology scene makes me laugh.
Really? I hear ya.
I do hope it snows on Christmas thou.
Where I live it's kind of mild climate year round where flowers grow year round in Carmel.
I love living on the coast, I often don't like going inland but worse in the winter time.
Yeah, the gazebo is beautiful. I thought he really looked like Edward in that shot.
When he makes his entrance.
I really liked that one also.

Wow, that's impressive Jov. I wouldn't be handle that situation without blowing my cover.

Today, he almost climbed on top of the kitchen cabinet part, my relative told me.

It will remind me of the scene in "The Christmas Story' when the mother wraps the kids up for the snow and it takes 10 minutes of putting things on them.
Thanks Sabrian. He was surfer guy.
Also a group of friends.
Like I've said only people here know I'm even interested in him.
I loved the little lock of hair that was out of place. I think they butchered my favorite scenes from the book and the prom scene was one thing that was actually better than the book. It didn't really fit the vibe of Forks, but I didn't mind a little creativity in that scene.
I can hide my feelings pretty well.
I agree.
You know what would be so interesting would be to see Twilight done from three different directors.

almost 6 hours of Rob.
I could probably just try to pass my giggling off as a reaction to how cheesy the movie is, but I don't plan on testing that theory.

I read your comment Jov, I'm really sorry you had to go through that. I've been really lucky to not lose anyone I've been really close to.
Ah...Jovie you big softie...You havae no idea how many tears I have shed during movies in my lifetime....
Did you read it?
I really want to read your book when you're done, Jov.
Jovie...my heart...is breaking...understanding...re-living some painful memories but amazing re-affirmation of life ones!
Have you been watching Grey's Anatomy lately, Jov? I really don't understand why Izzy is seeing Danny lately. Is she going insane?
Thanks Jules.
I so, so wish I could have you two read it

I don't want to break your heart Jules.
I've had a lot in mine and I won't share now, but it has helped me so much in my writing and I wouldn't take any of my life experiences away because of it.
It just seems really weird, especially because she is with Alex now. I thought she was finally moving on and them bam!, here's Danny again.
Okay...I'm off ladie...I must go to BED! It's really late here! It's almost 1 a.m. and I have to get up at 5 a.m...... CRAP!

Jules, what are some of your favorite tear jerkers.
Goodnight Jules! I hope you have a great day tommorrow!
Thanks Jules, hope you sleep well sweetie.
Sabrina I think she loved dimple guy so much, that in her place she goes, she needs that to cope in how much she misses him, even if it's sacrificing her mental state.
Sometimes when we suffer to cope our mind doesn crazy things.
Yeah, that's true. I'm just really wondering what is going to happen with her. I love that show.
Also, when he's in her bedroom and she's talking to him and telling him he's not real and he is waiting until she accepts he is.
I think it's him waiting until she can let go of him.
I think she'll become a surgeon who journeys on and have so much compassion because of her loss.

I love that part.
Yeah, I wonder if she will be able to let go of him. I hope Alex will help her get through it and that she doesn't push him away.
When people suffer I think that really tests who we are.
I love when stories have that in it.
I agree Sabrina.
also, I like the writing in the show is showing another texture and depth to him that he's not a total prick, that somewhere inside he can actually really love someone and not just think of himself.
She's been through a lot. Didn't she have a baby that she gave up for adoption too?
Okay, sweetie we could talk all night the two of us. I love talking with you but I think I better call it a nite, it's 11:04 now.
Yes, and Alex is finally deciding that he is willing to talk through things, which is what Izzy wanted him to do. I hope that she doesn't throw that away by pushing him away.
I don't remember that about her character.
But that doesn't mean it didn't happen.
I have watched the show since it's debut. I wish I could remember everything.
I think it came up awhile ago, I remember something about it but not the specifics. I love talking with you too, Jov. Goodnight and sweet dreams!
Dimple guy was in P.S. I Love you.
with the other actress I like, Hilary Swank.
I would of seen that movie just because the two of them, but I especially liked when dimple guy sang.:)
Hilary Swank is another person who has an amazing story.
I think I've seen every episode also. I've forgotten a lot of things, but I'm pretty sure Izzy had a baby when she was 16 or so and she gave it up for adoption. And then something happened in an episode that brought up the subject.
Sweet dreams to you too Sabrina.
Rob dreams, if you can have them.:)
Yes, Hillary Swank didn't have much growing up. I haven't seen P.S. I Love You yet, but I want to see it.
I try to have Rob dreams, but it doesn't always work out. I hope you can have some steamy Rob dreams too!
I always look out for book with first time authors and that one caught my eye and when they cast Hilary Swank in it, I was jazzed.
Hilary Swank lived in a trailer park and her mother believed in her and took her down to LA and they slept in their car until she could get jobs.
Of course you know the rest of the story with her Oscars later.
I really like her. She is such a good role model for young girls.
Just believing in yourself and following your dreams, whatever they might be.
Is the movie a good adaptation of the book? I'm really getting sick of movies that butcher the story.
Okay, hon thank you.
Sorry for the typos, I am getting tired.
Okay, this is really good night okay?
I feel like a boyfriend when I am trying to hang up with them and we keep saying goodbye five times. lol
I think she lived in a trailer park in Bellingham, Washington if I'm not mistaken.
lol. dammit Sabrina,
you know I have to answer your question.
No, it's so, so different then the book.
BUT, it is a really good adaption.
Haha, I know it's hard to log off of here. Goodnight Jov, for real this time.
When you read Hilary Swank's bio you will smile and yes I think it was Washington State where they lived.
She has tenacity that one.
Sorry! Okay, I'll watch the movie and hopefully read the book. Goodnight Jov, I hope you have a fantastic day tomorrow! xoxoxo
For real this time, sweetie.
Sweet dreams...
Thank you, you too.
xoxoxo
