Rob spotted at Hollywood Bowl for the Van Morrison concert.
He is so wasted but who doesn't get wasted at a Van Morrison concert :-) Look at his cheeks on the 4th picture with the big dude.
For those wondering who the VERY unfortunately dressed blond woman is. We think she is his publicist. She was with him at TRL.(Good find Eva)
Oh and I feel like we should have a corner dedicated to Amy. Amy are you Alice in disguise? Do you see these pictures being posted even before they are posted? Thanks babe!
P.S. Rob better give me a job if I fail my defense... Yikes!

Haha adorable. Do you think he went alone or that his friends are somewhere else when the picture is taken? Cute if he went alone or with his agent or whoever she is :)
You're fast Goz. He needed a night like that. I'm so glad he went.
Jovie
Hmm.. very nice. Wonder what's in the 'cup'
I'm sure he went with people, but walks alone to shield them from unnecessary attention?
Amy-thanks again for the find...
Goz- Your dedication abounds for staying so on top of the postings! Just picture everyone at the table as Rob, and I'm sure you're 'passion' in your defense can't help but come through!
Suss- good question on previous comment thread.
excuse typos.. Rob pictures frazzle me..grr
I'm so happy he went. That would have been an incredible show!
No prob ladies :)
Suss, in answer to your previous question,
physically the jawline and hair of course,
but I think what it is about him
Jovie
Sorry, got busy there, Suss
He seems well read. He has said as a literary figure he seems himself like John Self in Money, Martin Amis's book, which is a good book, in the EW article he said he read a lot of Martin Amis in Portland.
Now John Self over smokes, drinks, uses prostitutes, porn,
Rob seems to looks at himself harshly so it seems difficult to tell what he really is like behind closed doors...
But I'm intrigued. It seems he definetly has had his heartbroken in his life. I have to be honest I don't know if I would still be there after I really got to know him. I think he is intriguing and interesting to talk with. I would like to find out. I've never dated a smoker, ever. If he smoked I wasn't interested. But he is so fascinating. He doesn't see himself as goodlooking, interesting or funny when he is, that is absolutely intriguing to me.
Jovie
I'm about to go on a date and try to seem interested when I'm thinking of someone else, that is how much he has intrigued me.
And I haven't met him(Rob), get that?
This is weird, but he doesn't look wasted to me. Beanie is back and I guess that controls some of his appearance LOL
Looks like they had a good night.. That's not the same blond at the radio station that was supposedly his publicist. Hmmm....
sorry for the typos, I'm putting getting ready and typing at the same time.
Jov
Well, it's good to see Rob in his element, music, alcohol and some good times. I think that the fangurlz tend to freak out about Rob being so drunk, but, really who has not gotten inebriated and gone a concert.
I mean could imagine if Rob to a reggae fest? There would be papparazi hell to pay!
Nena--I think that the blonde in the photo is a fan trying to sneak a pic. Both just happen to dress really badly! Sorry, but no one should ever dress like that in LA.
I think the main reason the fan girls freak out is because alcohol is viewed very different in US. In Europe you pretty much start drinking when you are a teenager. I remember going to clubs when I was 15 and having a drink and it's normal. To me the 21 age limit is complete bullshit. Here, they see you drunk 3 times and you are an alcoholic.
I remember my parents pouring me a glass of wine with dinner when I was a teenager :-))
Especially with Brits. I actually like seing him wasted. I'm mostly jealous I can't hang out with them :-)
Hey Lynn! I think the blonde is the same from the night at the Whiskey..
I agree with your comment about tailgate parties before a show... I can recall a few times I did that before a couple of DMB shows.. (and during)
Rob at a reggae fest, Omg Lynn I think I might PAY to see that!!! Can you imagine him at one of those concerts - Good times would be had by all, LMAO :D
Oh and I must add I never did drugs/weed in my life. It's a cultural thing I guess, alcohol is just alcohol and unless you over do it, it's just good times :-)
Goz - I completely agree. It's so flipped in the US.. It's OK to blow someone up on TV, but not to show someone making love (or having a drink)..
I try to remember that a lot of his fans are quite young, and they're taught that drinking is taboo..
Goz---I couldn't agree with you more! Many American schools still institute a zero tolerance and drinking is often viewed as like taking street drugs, which is complete crap. I love the European approach with alcohol, there tends to be less taboo and much less binge drinking.
I did my own share of partying back in the day and I would go to Tijuana almost every weekend. It's amazing that I never got attacked, raped or arrested. Yes, the drinking age should be lowered.
I have to agree with the drinking comments. I also grew up outside of the US and I don't think I have ever seen drugs, let along use them. Alcohol is always around, specially at concerts ;) I don't drink myself but I don't see people having a good time like completely wasted... oh the horrors..
I agree Lynn...I didn't want to say anything mean, but yeah, I don't get the style going on there.. haha.
Tas---yeah, she does look familiar. My goodness, would someone tell her that the 90's called asked for their tights and monkey boots back. She dresses like I did in college in 1990.
Nena---I'm thinking out loud way too much. But, I'm being honest and possibly a little too SoCal snobby.
I totally agree with you Gozde!! Most of Europe has very different views in regards to consuming booze and smoking, etc. He must feel a bit of culture shock being in the US sometimes I would think...he mentioned that in the EW interview, that he was being photographed coming out of all these places and people might get the wrong idea...
I think if you can vote you should be able to legally drink.
Also, Rob made a statement to that fact in an article about people in the US thinking you're an alcholic if you drink like you do in the UK
Jov
You know.. now that I think back, I think this woman is definitely the same one from the Whiskey! Remember the back of the blonde woman? (same page boy hair do) She had on herring bone slacks with suspenders.. so late 80's early 90's.. I suppose she likes what she likes..
Amy---Rob would look blind at a reggae fest, his eyes would be like slits. But, I bet he would be very mellow and funny as hell.
Tas---totally, that has to be the same woman...very scarweeeey!
When I'm at a concert I dance. It would be fun to go to a concert with him or be behind and see what he does at a concert.
Jov
If I was him I would be trying to do something to turn off the teenage girls. I wouldn't want to be a teenage heartthrob, just like Heath Ledger tried to break.
Jov
Is there a picture of them at the Whiskey? I would like to see..
Lynn I totally get you.. LOL, but me being fairly knew here, I have to watch what I say. I don't want to come across as obsessively critical hahaha, which I am a little bit sometimes *hides in the corner*
He is really more than thinking woman's kind of heartthrob.
Jov
People in the US (for the most part, but forgive me for being stereotypical) have very puritanical views about drinking and sex. We're very conservative.
This idea that you're old enough to make the decision to die for country, but not order a beer is completely nonsensical.
I value my nationality, but this doesn't make sense.
sooo OT
Sorry, I meant a Thinking Woman's Heartthrob.
AMEN, Tess!
Jov
Ooooo more screen caps of Rob introducing the forest scene. He looks especially yummy in these...

Thanks Amy, so far my favorite photos of his are from SEX Drive.
Jov
Nena---those pics were mostly personal shots by RPL...Dani may be able to locate some.
Don't mind my snarkiness, I just tend to pick on random bad fashion sense and it seems more magnified living in SoCal. Feel free to talk it up, we love everything except anything that hurts said British boy.
yeah I agree Tess.
For Canada - it's not too bad, our legal drinking age is 19. We're pretty chill in the north :) There is a lot of freedom here I find compared to other places I have been.
Goz, totally agree. I remember in college we used to go at clubs all the time and get drunk and smoke since 16(like 80% of the people still smoke back home). It's not a big deal there. (I don't do any of that anymore).
He probably watched the obsessed fangirl video before he left for the concert and that's why he needed extra drinks last night:)
The blonde lady was in some of the pictures in Rome too.
Lynn, totally agree not a good outfit, def not for her age group(she doesn't look 22 to me).
suss, I love interesting, different and talanted people. I love that Rob is not into all Hollywood glamour and drama. I love his dry humor. This is the first time I like actor that much and I'm interested in their work. He reminds me of some of my friends 10 years ago.
Tas---the parents at the high schools here in town have to sign an oath to not contribute to the delinquency of minors by not serving alcohol at parties. I agree that puritanical/ Judeo-Christian ideals have a lot to do with it.
Americans always tend to be socially retarded when it comes to drinking.
amy- thanks for the screen clips. He looks like he's puckering up for a kiss in two of them (which I would whole heartedly oblige him with)
Let's all TOAST to all of our comments.
Lynn-still giggle/snorting over the socially retarded comment
My fellow Rob lovlies, my date is here, I'm bowing out, but I'll check when I get back. Me being on Pacific time, all of you might of called it a night but I'll still check.
Luv,
Jovie
Tas---I actually hate using the term (to be PC and all). But, seriously socially retarded explains it all and Rob would agree. Damn, I need to move to Europe or better yet, Singapore!
Oh good, I'm glad you guys agree :-))
As for the blond woman, I can see myself going to her and saying "Honey, you should NOT be wearing that" :-)
She is probably some publicist.
Ooh, have fun at your date Jovi :-)
G& L- it is painful to look at.
*hangs head for thinking it... and feels even worse for typing it*
Thanks Goz. I'll try to imagine he's as interesting as Rob.
Jov
Tess, about the sex and preaching abstinence I have 2 words for ya: Bristol Palin...
#2 & #3 - anyone note the button on her cardigan (yeah I typed cardigan.. it's called that when you're over 40)
Okay that woman might be a fan she has an Edward button sweater :)
Haha, Tess, great minds :P
Okay we might be over analyzing her :P I feel sorry for Rob's future/current girl :-)
Bristol Palin:):)LOL
That is a great example:)
I was wrong the lady was with him in NY, not Rome:

Jov, have fun.
Damn Eva, good find :-)
GOZ! Oh yeah... Can I admit that right after I gave my loud cry of JOY when all the networks declared Obama our next president.. The very next words out of my mouth were: "We'll now Bristol doesn't have to marry that complete tool who knocked her up"
God... I'm going to need to go to confession after these posts.
Some people who were at the show were commenting on the lion and lamb board that she is his other publicist?! I guess maybe he has two? I dunno.
At least she is supporting Twilight!! haha it's hilarious she is wearing his Edward pin.
Eva- great picture of BOTH of them. She's beautiful in this picture. wow
Goz - you're so right about drinking and the Brits. I was going to clubs on the weekends and drinking at 14. Not to the point of being completely wasted, just a couple of drinks. By the legal age of 18, I was bored of it. By 21, I was just an ocassional drinker. Because there was no terrible stigma put upon alcohol, it didn't seem so rebelious to "sneak out and drink it", so I didn't feel the need to sneak out and get wasted. Because of this I think the Brits handle drink better and don't go overboard when they hit 21as I see so many American's doing as they turn 21. If the age was lowered to 18, I bet there wouldn't be so much madness.
All in all, drinking in moderation is fine. Drinking while at a Van Morrison concert go hand in hand :-) A 22 year old SHOULD be able to go out and get a little wasted every once in a while and not get hounded for it.
This topic gets be all annoyed as I hate to hear people slagging him off because he had a drink or two, or three. Leave the poor guy alone. It's obvious he's been brought up well, and knows how to handle himself.
When we see him laying in the gutter each and every night, unable to stumble home... we can all get a little concerned. But go follow almost any 22 year old that isn't in the public eye for a month or two, and you'll see exactly the same thing.
OK, rant over. I know I'm preaching to the choir... this is for any of those fangirls reading getting all uptight about it!!!
Oh... and I think he looks hot with a drink or two in him. Those rosey cheeks need pinching!
Okay we all agree, we need some prudes on this blog :P
That is the longest comment I've ever written... can you tell it narks me!
Oh... and I wrote that before I read all the comments and saw that everyone agreed :-)
Ya'll have been super busy w/ out me. Goz thanks for working so hard on this site when you are already so busy. We will send a letter to Rob if you mess up your defense due to his ever gorgeous presence in this world.
I will be back later and Nena I will take a look for some of those wiskey a go go shots I might have a place to look for em, I can usually track em down. Although clearly Rob enjoys wearing the same outfit all the time, the one above these comments being his ABSOLUTE FAVE! So I will look and get back to ya.
I'm scanning through all this now...but apparently this is all new stuff, interviews, videos, etc...

I posted Amy:-) I was on the imdb board as well, lol. Thanks :-)
God bless all of you for defending the euro/brit way of growing up with alcohol in the house. It was never frowned upon for us to have champers on special occasions or an occasional bit of grog here and there. We were taught to respect it, enjoy it and not get bent out of shape about it. Hell yes, I can drink anyone under the table. But I also know when enough is enough, when charming turns to bullet proof - it's time to quit drinking and go the "f" home!
Have a drink on me Rob! You deserve a little down time. So sorry you have to live your life in a fishbowl now. If you ever need a mate to have a pint with, I'll hoist one with ya!
oh Thank you Dani. I have heard about the set of pictures at the Whiskey for ages but I was never able to see them myself. Don't strain yourself though :)
forevereb, I agree with your long comment. I did all the parties/drinking, etc from the time I was 14, that by the time I was of age, I stopped going to parties and drinking all together. It just didn't interested me anymore. Even though I don't drink at all, most of my old party crew, does not drink that much, pretty much socially.
ok, I think everything about this has been said, I need to drop it and leave it alone hahahaha
Being european and all, I agree with you guys completely on the drinking/partying thing. Here in sweden you can go to any clubs, drink and stuff when you're 18.
And Jovie, I enjoyed reading your answer, and I agree with you completely! Thats kind of what I would want to write if i was good enough in english! And I hope your date was good! I understand what you're saying. Sometimes my mind just wander away to rob when im with my boyfriend. okay, not sometimes. always...
