In Style's Party Hopper talks about Rob
Full disclosure: I haven't actually read the Twilight series--yet! I have cleared my schedule this weekend so that I can read the first book--but now that I've met Robert Pattinson, I am beginning to see what all the hype around the movie is about.
Robert was besieged when he arrived at the airport in Mexico and some passionate Italians started shaking his car as he arrived for the flick's premiere in Rome. But when he finally arrived to a chorus of New York City screams, the reserved Robert seemed to be taking it all in stride.
Despite the moderator's best efforts to keep the questions on track, soon the girls in the crowd were asking Robert to marry them, to take off his hat so that they could see his hair in person, to sing a few bars of the song he wrote for the movie. One girl even declared that she wouldn't mind if he---as the vampire Edward, I hope--killed her, to which Robert responded, "I can't kill you, I don't even know your name!" Asked if his supporting role as Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter films had prepared him for the Twilight hysteria, Robert responded with a simple "no." Now there's an understatement.

Every thing about Robert is an Understatement! He is so very Unique... These Interviews that have been surfacing are awesome...
"finally figured out that I didn’t have to play the most beautiful man on the planet, but just play a man in love." He is very insighfull and well worded...
Thanks for posting all the Rob goods!!!
"I can't kill you, I don't even know your name!"---ahh, Rob's even sweet to the masochists.
I want to know how a journalist can write an article about an actor's breakthrough film and not even read the book that it's based on!
Love the pic of Rob....delectable, yummy neck!
Ok, this sounds wrong as I type it, but getting killed by Rob doesn't sound that bad... I guess it would depend how you get kill *internal monologue* hmm... Damn you crazy fangils... stop giving me ideas! LOL
B-Lynn you echo my thoughts completely, that quote about playing a man in love...my fave.
He is so funny in interviews everything he says makes this site of tribute and love more worth it.
Sorry to barge in on the convo but I read this blog all the time, love it! I just wanted to run this by you since it seems that you're all great at conspiracy theories.

I'm referring to #2 & #15
Here are my theories on that interview...he made those statements to either get fans in a frenzy or he's just felt particualarly cheeky that day. Thoughts?
Hi there anonymous. I have only been wandering around here for a few days too and everybody here is pretty cool and make you feel right at home.
And, yeah, that seventeen interview... classic british humor... I can't comprehend why he would like to be in Bush's shoes.
Hey anon, welcome to our blog. Glad to have you. That 17 interview is classic. Cracks me up this one, people actually take those interviews way to seriously, and I think he loves to screw with the media. Its hilarious. I love that he said he was closest to his dog Patty in his family. Too funny.
Feel free to poke around and stay awhile...here comes the welcome wagon. Glad you like it here.
Welcome anon :-) That Q&A is very old. It was during the filming of Twilight and it surfaced again somehow. I seriously think he was just yapping in that interview :P
NOBODY would wanna be in Dubya's shoes :-)
Welcome to all. ( Hey if they let me hang out here, they will let anyone)
Now about the article.. Hmmm killed so you can stay with Rob... um.. sure ok go for it! lol
"Lean a little more to the right, oh wait, what's your name?" hahaha
Ok this photo below is just TOO MUCH hotness. This could have been the damn cover!! I bet the VF people were just overly *dazzled* by everyone (lol) through this entire photo shoot. I mean they screwed up parts of the interview with a few errors (that are now corrected on the site btw!) and they for some reason left out the BEST photos...yeah they were just in shock over the hotness. That is my theory.

Rob cant help but be funny in these interviews, He is a natural at this and he doesn't even know it. Natural Sex Appeal cannot be faked or learned, It just is...
And adding wit to his british humor just makes him one comical guy that is fun to listen to and makes you smile all the time...
Oh and did I mention he is so Hot I can barely pull my eyes away from him, It's a sickness I have and I need help, I think I may be going about my therapy all wrong though because you all arent really helping - lol - we can all be sick together!!! *cough cough*
Lynn ~ too go along with that "I can't kill you, I dont even know your name" Is one from the Radio Interview "I cant bite you, It would hurt!" LOL - Love it...
Thanks for the welcome! I don't know what I love more, Rob's humor or his amazing hotness. Ya, the hotness wins! (But LOVE that humor).
JustJared has the video up now with a quote from the magazine...
http://justjared.buzznet.com/2008/11/06/vanity-fair-sinks-teeth-into-twilight/#comments
"The writer also compliments the two leads of the film, saying, “Together, Stewart and Pattinson seem to be sharing the same opium reverie… with Stewart receiving the more powerful high, her eyes dimming out when she gets too close. There’s wit in their tentative exchanges.”
I'm going to send Rob my name, address and phone number so the next time he's in Houston, he can just pop by for a few minutes and kill me.
I wouldn't mind...really, I wouldn't. He already kills me. Day in, Day out....I just have to get killed over and over again!
