Ellie---I was going to hold out and watch the whole thing...but it is a time sucker, too! I think that I may have to see it in the theater one more time after I pay up and see The Changeling.
I'm hoping to go sometime next week with my friends from work. I got a bunch to read the book, so they're anxious. but obviously not as anxious as me... duh!
I went on Wednesday with katie, her friend and her mom. So much better the second time, but there were obnoxious guyss talking, so I really had to concentrate on the words, sometimes (olive juice!).
And I picked up a lot more things going on, like Rob asking Kellan,"What are you doing?" after crashing into each other in the field.
I'm seriously loving this movie, now that I'm past the cheese factor. This second time on Wed,and again at home last night, I just concentrated on Rob. His expressions amaze me. And the good thing about it last night was that I could "rewind"! lol
I know, you pick up on so many more things the second time. I just love watching Rob shiver in the forest scenes....his lip quivers so much that words could be dubbed in---love it!
The rain on him really got me..kind of like watching him a shower...only with clothes on! :)
I am such a fan of Catherine Hardwicke's, that I saw past the cheese the first time. I really envy her artistic vision of things...it's the dreamer in me. I would love to be a documentary film maker...perhaps in my next life!
And I love the parking lot scene with the sunglasses. Cute line: "that guy's not looking. No, wait, he looked". and that smug smile...
Oh, the rain was almost comical...he should have been shivering then...but, I think that was the stuff that filmed in LA and it was probably 80 degrees there!
That is my favorite scene besides the meadow....Edward the rockstar!
Did you see the article about open auditons for New Mon? there's openings for a principle player and extras. They listed the cast, but Elizabeth Reaser ws not on it. CH is listed as director.

I played that one over and over last night. I was afraid the connection would stop an dI wanted to remember everything. As well as the kissing.
I'm glad CH is on board. It wouldn't be the same feleing as this one. It would be like Harry Potter where there's a different vison for each movie, no connection between them.
My friends' husbands were freaking over Bella being oversexualized in the bedroom scene...this is coming from ppl that have not read the books. I told them that the scene was way tamer then anything out there and Bella's always wanting it in the book....duh, she's 17!

I know that a lot of ppl disliked her work on Twilight, but, I really like what she did...it's so her style....character driven and made for you to feel like you're in the film.
She reminds me a lot of Alison Anders, another female indie film director.

Hey, first time post, and thank god for you all, since my Rob obsession is reaching new heights. I don't watch Tyra, but I can't believe she had "Edward Pattinson" in the captions. I mean, come on! I could see if she had "Jacob Lautner" because he was in the movie so much less than Rob. Ugh. That's like when Billy Bush called John Krasinki "Jim" at the Emmy Post-Show coverage.
Talk of Rob playing with the thong panties is not helping to settle me down tonight! :) NOT that that's a bad thing.
