Catherine talks about steamy Rob :-))
MTV: Were you gasping back in the day, when you had Robert and Kristen [Stewart] audition by sitting down on your bed and practicing that scene?
Hardwicke: I kinda was, actually. [Laughs.] I was trying to be cool, but I started to realize, "This is gonna be steamy, this is gonna be hot, this is gonna get people going."
MTV: A lot of these actors have found their stocks quickly rising. Who, in your opinion, has handled it the best?
Hardwicke: Well, Rob and Kristen have both done a great job of dealing with all the madness and the excitement, because they're both very serious and dedicated to their craft, and they're looking for excellent work that challenges them. So I think they look at every script that comes to them and think what the challenges can be: "What can I make out of this? How can I make this significant and wonderful?"

I adore Catherine Hardwicke more and more every time I see her in interviews. I love her hippie chick attitude and style and she makes all her commetary very heartfelt and real.
And, the fact that CH chose to film a Midnight Sun scene goes to show how much she is dedicated in to making all the books in to film.
Tess..I know I thought the same about the MS scene.
I love this lady she loves what she does and I can't wait to see the movie.
The DVD...aahhh..can't wait.

The DVD probably won't come out until next Christmas. Dammit, they need to release in June to take a bite of Harry Potter's ass! Sorry I just had an image of actually biting Dan Radcliffe's butt and lost my train of thought.
She was such the director for this!

Oh Jules don't fret! The DVD will probably be out by Summer. And since it will already no doubt make all of us hot, we must watch it in the nude at the same time...yes the crazy twishenanegans we would get into.
I want to state for the record I now have a new crush on CH...she is fab. What a neat lady.
Okay, I am SO excited for the DVD extras - it sounds like there is going to be some wicked cool things on it. Sign me up for the 3 disk-er! The 1 and 2 disk just will not suffice for all of my Rob love.
And Catherine is a ROCKSTAR. Seriously, she is so cool and I love how passionate and creative she is.
