Clearly, that's a total joke! Rob has about double the votes. Zac Efron is a total joke, I never got the whole thing "it" thang about him.
Me neither Lynn. He looks like Clay Aiken's long lost twin and I really tried to sit through HSM, I really did. It's SO bad :)
Perez said on the Much Music interview that he thought Rob had surpassed Efron for the best looking guy award. Well YEAH, like we didn't already know that.

Poor me, I had to sit through a field trip to HSM3 last week. My kids were much more entertaining.

Okay it's a couple of posts down and I am so glad rob got the part of Edward but he mentions auditioning for True Blood. He is too young for that role but it made my mind wander to all the X rated scenes True Blood has and...well my mind just wandered :-)

Goz--my dh and I watch True Blood and it so borders on soft porn. We sometimes try to watch it with the kids up and it lasts for about 5 minutes.

Here is my person take on this...
Comparing HSM to Twilight is like comparing Cotton Candy to Apples.
Example:
Cotton Candy (AKA HSM)- is sweet and cutesy in a blonde teen giggly way. But to try and take a bite it dissolves into mush. And to try and eat it every day will sicken you!
Apples (AKA Twilight)- is firm yet juicy and let's you enjoy biting in for a good taste. And to eat it daily just makes you want a little more. (And no one minds a juicy chin now and then)
I rest my case.
I guess I'm glad I have boys...there are some things that I don't understand about teenage girls, even though I obviously was one at one time.
I gotta hand it to the Jonas brothers though- they sure do get the chicks! It's like flavor of the week with those boys.
Ellie- yes thank God my daughter is only 2.5 months. I've got some time before I have to deal with that. But I'm sure there will be a group just as equally pukey when she is a teenager.

Ellie--kindred! I discussed the Twilight midnight showing last night with Audrey and her friend and we will be going about 4 hours early. Her friend says that our local theater will be showing it in five auditortiums.

Dana---Audrey never read recreationally until Twilight and she read first in about four days. I was relieved and we raced to see who finished first. She found the legends of the Quilleute boring, but, she read them.
Now, she thinks my obsession is weird and the Rob even weirder.
I am actually flying to chicago to see the movie with my best friend (who I is as obsessed about Twilight as I am and I recruited her to Twilight :-).
BUT I am not sure about the first night. I will seriously kick some teen ass if they scream. Just watching the videos makes me so mad. and I can't stand screaming people :-(

Jewels----Cajun accents melt me like butter (or butta). Harry says it's the weirdest accent ever. His family is from Georgia and Alabama...so, he just too used to them.
My twilight posse and I are going while most of the teenies are in school. Then when the DVD version comes out, we should all have a similtaneaous watching party and blog while it's on! Could be hilarious! We'd have figure out a good day and time zones...
