So we've been beating around the bush for two weeks now, and I think its time for me to officially and without question declare my love for everyone's favorite Brit. I love me some Rob. I love me some Rob with a love that is unholy and bordering on frightening. I would break that guy. But while he is most certainly handsome, and most certainly smack-you-in-the-head swoonworthy, what I adore most about Rob is his wit. His Brit wit. The guy is FUNNY. Someone please explain to me why he has not hosted SNL because he would kill it!! Was he the inspiration for Jack in my Redhead Series? Oh hell yes. Alice doesn't shy away from her fanfic roots and the publisher shared a wonderful quote from Alice about her experience with the Twilight series and its influence on her writing:

Reading Twilight, and in turn reading fan fiction, made me rediscover what it was that I loved about reading. I had been an avid reader when I was growing up, and somewhere I lost my passion for it. I was still reading, but it was a lot of non fiction, science, economic, very dry stuff that I thought looked impressive while reading on a plane. But it was Twilight that turned me back on to STORY. To invest me so thoroughly in characters again, to make me wonder, what might happen next? Or what might have happened if so and so didn't do this and that. And fan fiction gave me that extension, this wonderful way to see what else was possible for these characters.

We officially kickoff the festivities tomorrow, Dec. 1st, but we're so pumped up, we wanted to start the season of giving now! Rob The Giver inspires us. :)

I've been an avid Twilight fanfic reader for over three and half years. I also know many of you venture into that world so you might be familiar with a guy who had a tendency to bang some walls. ;) Well that Wallbanger is now a published Wallbanger.

I have vivid memories of being curled up in my leopard Snuggie on the streets of Westwood, camping for New Moon premiere, and reading. One of the fanfics I was reading was this story. It was fun (and funny), sexy (with sex), and I loved figuring out which version of Rob matched Wallbanger in my mind. I do that with all fics, don't you? Since VFRob was a big deal back in Nov. 2009, he influenced my Robmatch when I read this line: I could picture him: soft faded jeans, hiking boots a la Jake Ryan from Sixteen Candles, off-white Irish cable knit turtleneck sweater, hair all in disarray.

Oh yeah. I'd like to go to there.


The publisher for Wallbanger has graciously given us 5 copies of the eBook to giveaway to our readers! For the next 5 weeks, we'll be gifting out Wallbanger and Alice Clayton's first series for the runner-up. The publisher has another gift for us after the season but we'll tell you about that giveaway later. ;)

Here's what Alice had to say about fan fiction, Wallbanger and Rob:

Fan fiction gave me a voice. It gave me a community. It gave me the courage to trust my sense of silly and throw it all at the wall and see what would stick. Writing fan fiction was the single most broadening experience of my adult life. Other than Shirtless Rob Day. Which is still the best day ever. (Tink: AMEN.)

Wallbanger was such a fun story for me to write, and while I wasn't sure if I would ever publish it, it just kept calling to me. Or thumping to me, yeah thumping. That's how Wallbanger rolls. I had to put it back out there, I had to trust that this story, regardless of where it came from, was strong enough to stand on its own. And the response has been overwhelming. I'm so proud of this book, and the community it came from. When each chapter of Wallbanger went up, I got emails from readers around the world, telling me what they liked and what they loved. What made them laugh and what made them mad. And as new readers discover the story of Pink Nightie Girl and her Wallbanger, they tell me the same things. It's amazing.

It's beginning to look a lot like ROBmas!



Robert Pattinson is so talented and so are his fans! It's the most wonderful time of the year and we want to let it snow, let it snow, let it snow with Robert Pattinson holiday videos! So fire up your computers and grab those amazing Rob pictures and/or video clips to put together a festive RobHoliday video to celebrate the season.

Entering the ROBsessed Holiday Video Challenge is a chance for you to share your gift with our readers but also win cash prizes! All you have to do is make a Robert Pattinson video capturing the RobHoliday Season spirit and you can win $100 from us! The runner up will win $50 and third place will get $25! The winner will be decided by your fellow ROBsessors.

Official Rules:

1. The video must be about Robert Pattinson.
2. The video should be 90 seconds at the minimum and 4 minutes at the maxium.
3. The video must have a minimum 5 second banner at the beginning and end that says: www.robsessedpattinson.com RobHoliday Video Challenge Entry (VERY IMPORTANT that you do this or your video will be disqualified)
4. The videos should be posted on YouTube and the link to video for the contest entry should be sent to robsessedgiveaway@gmail.com. If your video is restricted in some countries (which YouTube will tell you) then you can upload your video on Daily Motion.
5. The prize for the contest ($100 for the winner, $50 for the runner up, $25 for the 3rd place) will be sent to the winner via Paypal. It's the winners' responsibility to get a Paypal account. ROBsessed will pay the transfer fee but any charges incurred on the winner's end will belong to the winner. The winner can also choose to receive a gift card from Amazon or Fandango. (All prizes are paid by ROBsessed, there are no sponsors.)
6. The entries will be numbered in the order they are received. After Dec. 20th, a post will be made on www.robsessedpattinson.com . The order of the videos will be decided by a random number drawing. ROBsessed readers will vote on the video they like in the poll we'll post. The voting will be open for 24 hours. The video that receives the highest number of votes will proceed to the next round. (ROBsessed will screen the videos before putting them up and reserves the right to decline.)
7. Last day to send in the video entries is December 20th 11:59pm PST. The winners will be chosen by ROBsessedPattinson.com visitors and will be announced on Dec 25th
