The poll we conducted in April 2009 said 32% of ROBsessed readers were teenagers, 34% was in their 20s, 21% was in their 30s, 7% in their 40s, 2% in their 50s and 1% was over 60.
Our poll from last week says 21% of our readers are teenagers, 38% is in their 20s, 24% is in their 30s, 12% in their 40s, %5 in their 50s, 1% over 60 :) So looks like we ran the teenagers away, oops, boohoo!
Taket THAT media who keeps saying Robert Pattinson fans are all teenagers. (*sticks tongue out and blows raspberry*yeah I'm that mature :))
Age is a matter of mind, if you don't mind it doesn't matter :)

well i guess most of the teenager already move to taylor side after newmoon came out.i read some comments in other side that they dont care about another rob's movie apart fr om twilight saga,they love edward but not rob.apparently they just twilight fans,not rob fans.i know that little ashes screening at australia didnt sold out.so now i start to believe what rob said that people just crazy about edward not him...btw im still part of robsessed and im 25 :)

i'm a twilighter fan but i love Rob, don't matter how muscular Taylor is, i would never change team and i think i'm more excited about Remember Me than Eclipse right now .

Um, a young 52 here! All of my Co-workers are around Rob's age. They see nothing unusual or wrong about my Robsession. Age is a state of mind and I can certainly wrap my mind around a beautiful, sexy, talented, intriguing young man!!! This whole age thing really gets under my skin...just because a woman reaches a certain age doesn't mean she becomes deaf, dumb, and blind! If anything she can see sexy coming a mile away.:] Anyway I think Robs 21 and over fan base is overtaking the teenagers, as it should. This is my first post here. This is an absolutely amazing site,you ladies do a fantastic job! Thanks so much and thanks for letting me rant.:]
A lot of us, if not most, were fans of Rob before Twilight, and look forward to what he does beyond the Saga, and we waatch his other films in which he is nothing like Edward, and we listen to/watch his interviews for himself, not for Edward. perhaps it is the teens who are seeing him as only representing Edward, and do not realize how rare and beautful Rob himself is as a human being.
We definitely need to do this again in a few months. It could be part of the new Robcyclopedy.

Hurray to all those who are in their 20s! We are the majority here, but those in their 30s are getting close to beating us! We shall not allow it! (just kidding, lol) you can beat us anytime (smiles angelically)...I'm just being a little silly here, lol.

I'm a young 52, too. Love seeing woman my age writing here. I think there's a vulnerability with Rob, that with his talent and goods looks is just devastating!! Rob's just someone we all want to see succeed. And I could look at pictures of him all day.....Someday all these young folk will understand that things change on the outside, but inside, we don't change so much, we're all just girls inside! I think smart women really are supporters of his, we hear how smart he is, as well. I think he brings out the girl in us, and the nurturing "Mom" aspect as well.

I'm a puma. Just love admiring our precious Rob and taking my mind off my troubles and replacing them with HIM!!!! Makes me relive my younger days of being in love and that great feeling you have when you're with a really great guy. Everyone wants that "feeling" no matter how old/young you are.

mya bluesky they would have been ecstatic if they did sell out the Ritz screening of Little Ashes in Sydney Australia as it holds around 800 people!!
And for the midnight screening of NM I happen to know they had other cinemas there too in that one complex alone and sold over 1000 tix! Rob has a lot of aussie fans but maybe the subject matter and lack of promotion to a wider audience was the reason it wasn't sold out. If I could have gone back there from across the country just a couple of weeks after I had been there for NM believe me I would have been there for it!! :)

I hated to be a teenager, never taken seriously, ignored by adults and the people I fan-girled at frowned apon and usually ridiculed..Well...ahem..you get to an age and find yourself back in that very same boat. And the beat goes on..
It's sad, really. Someone comes along and shows off his muscles and suddenly half of Rob's fanbase bolts? But oh well, I'm glad he's reaching so many older people now, he deserves to be recognised for his talent and not only by a teenage franchise. I hope the minority of teenagers who have remained loyal to Rob aren't as shallow as only liking him because of his character Edward or his good looks, because so far I haven't actually met anyone my age who's a fan of him outside of those things, which disappoints me a little, although secretly I'd like to keep them to myself.
