By far the greatest thing I've seen all today. I knew there had to be a reason why he looked taller, but I actually thought the box would be a big bigger!
Considering Jacob is supposed to be 6'7, that box ought to have been bigger!
As for Rob's shoes, I don't think it matters that they didn't go with the clothing; they weren't met to be in the shoot for the poster; else they would have gotten Taylor's little step-box in it!
LOL, I wonder if Taylor had to stand on boxes while they were filming the movie? That must be strange.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who noticed the shoe problem, it's been driving me crazy since the first pics of Edward about to step out into the sun came out. The first thing I noticed was that he had gray slacks & brown shoes. I mean seriously, you would think someone in wardrobe would say hmmm, that's wrong. I certainly don't expect Rob to notice it LOL
I must say, I find it so interesting that people concentrate so much on fashion, especially what men are wearing, nowadays. Back in the day, I don't think anyone noticed what boys or men wore; they wore jeans and T's and flannel shirts (lots of plaid, btw!)and sweatshirts and such; army jackets, and army boots, and it was all good. And if a boy had a rip that he wanted mended, we would cheerfully embroider a mend, perhaps with a nice design. :-)I don't recall anyone worrying about shoes not matching or about changing how a guy dressed if he was comfortable---unless of course it was a mother or a wife! I also am really surprised about people's comments about Kristen dressing like a tomboy, etc. We ALL dressed like that, back in the good old days.:-)
Is this apparent(as seen in postings)change/shift toward wanting a guy to toss his comfy clothes, and wanting his shoes to match, and wanting girls to dress 'feminine', really indicative of what is going on in the world now?
this makes me laugh, I'm picturing Rob giving him crap about it and then everyone having to pull off intense expressions! LMAO
Ha ha, how embarrassing! Poor Taylor; but he's not the first vertically challenged actor to be given an illusionary boost...Tom Cruise can sympathize with him.
Guys just wear dumb stuff sometimes. My 6'6" son thinks green shoes make his size 12 feet look smaller. They don't.
(Besides, those brown shoes might be soft Italian leather and really comfy.)

I actually like Edward's shoes. He's not supposed to be too fashion conscious, is he? It's kind of old school. And if you look at the Volvo ad pic, those earth colours of the surroundings match beautifully with the shoes (or Bella's ugly brown cardigan in this one).
I think it has to do with the whole theme of the movie, and the earth tones they chose....so we have bella's cardiagan and jacob's skin that are more of a brown colour...and someone said: what about Edward? and they made him wear those ugly shoes :))

I like the brown shoes even though they make his feet look huge. Some of the other middle aged fashion he wears in the movie like those suits, not so much ...
Well the box wasn't big enough because he still looks shorter than Rob/Edward!
Love the box! Must really have thick skin to survive Hollywood. Whether they're airbrushing your abs or making you stand on boxes, pride swallowing is a must.
