What I don't understand is, why must they make a public declaration? The truth is, it's none of our goddam business. But with this runnaway technology, invading their lives on a daily basis (what am I saying? on an hourly basis) for some goddamn reason, we think it is our business. IT'S NOT!!! And they don't have to say a goddamn word about it. Sorry, but for some reason, this is royally pissing me off.
It's pretty obvious that these two are in the honeymoon phase of their relationship. Too bad they can't be left alone to enjoy it in the way they every right to. And they best enjoy it while they can because with this amount of media and fan intrusion, they're not gonna make it. This just makes me so sad. I want them to be happy and I fear that their stardom is going to kill their happiness with each other.
Either that or, they're just scratching each other's itch and this thing will run it's course and soon they'll both be on to greener pastures. Why don't I believe that? Why do I think they might have actually fallen in love with each other? I don't know why. I just do.
As for Kristen's look...she looks just fine. She's a tomboy, not girly-girl although she dolls up fantastic when she has to (photo shoots, red carpets). Apparently her boyfriend just loves the way she looks.
It's such an interesting dichotomy with Kristen Stewart. So disliked, yet soooooo envied. Women are such bitches...yanno?

Ah Nik, ITA! Not surprisingly. ;) I was just telling some friends yesterday how I would feel if I were them and everyone seemed to think it was their right to know about my personal relationship with my significant other, just because we're in the public eye. It's just nobody's business, plain and simple.
I knew somebody would get the "money shot" sooner or later, and frankly maybe it's a blessing in disguise, because maybe R/K won't be hunted down like dogs trying to get them to slip up with some PDAs. I doubt it, but one can dream. :/

amen, Nikola. There's definitely something that rubs fans the wrong way about Kristen. I know she's rough around the edges, and she does say dumb things sometimes. But it's more than that, and part of it is I think that many younger fans especially are annoyed she isn't making herself up 24/7 for Robert to be worthy of him. That really annoys many girls, and I think its presumptious to think they know Robert enough to think they know what attracts him. He's a slob most of the time, I highly doubt he's looking for a high maintenance girl.

Lizzie, I don't think anything has changed; I think for whatever reason Kristen and Rob (especially Kristen) have been covering up what's really going on between them for months now. My guess is that Summit wanted to promote the "love triangle" aspect of New Moon, and R/K having their own real-life romance didn't fit in with their PR plans. pfffft, whatever. Cat's outta the bag now.

I have a theory that they may be together BECAUSE of all the media scrutiny and craziness surrounding them in part.
No one else knows what they are going through with this phenomenon except one another. Sometimes I wonder the more pressure put on them by others, the more they isolate into one another.
Robert himself once said that they are competitive people who joined forces on the set of Twilight and basically saw it as an "us" vs. "them" situation, where they sorta isolated themselves from everyone. I think it's a bit naive to think that people don't like Kristen 'because she doesn't make herself up for Rob 24/7". It's a ridiculous notion. I've seen many pics from just last year where Kristen looked amazing without any makeup or fuss with wardrobe.

REad most complaints about her-they spell it out themselves. She needs to do something with her hair. Yet Robert walks out with it messy, and it's adorable. They say she dresses like a tomboy. Well, she always has, and he likes her, so maybe that's what he likes. They say she isn't pretty enough, or feminine enough, or whatever enough physically. I think this "thing" started sometime during the filming of New Moon (when Michael suddenly exited stage right) or at the very least, the night of the MTV Movie Awards when they spent the night in the same hotel (in a city in which she has a home) before being seperated for several weeks. But yeah, their love affair didn't fit in with Summit's PR for New Moon. So what did our two little rebels do? After several weeks apart, they "snuck" around LA just enough to get the tongues wagging and then their first week back on set, they go out in public and get "caught."

There is a difference between looking like a tomboy, and looking just plain rough and tired. All I'm saying is she needs to take better care of herself. No, that DOES NOT mean she needs to 'make herself up for her man'. It means she needs to get more rest, eat healthier, lay off the cigs (and any other 'substance') for awhile, drink more water and get a little exercise. And it wouldn't hurt if she removed that huge chip off her shoulder, either.
I've already said that she used to look amazing with little or no makeup or fuss with her hair. But if you compare a 'natural' from last year to right now, you can see a drastic difference.
I was pretty indifferent to Kristen until that video at com-con when she is interviewed with taylor and she is asked if she is 'team edward or team jacob'. There were so many ways she could answer that without alluding to anything personal about her relationship, but instead, she gets all twitchy, climbs all over taylor, and says "read into this". WTF is that? Obviously, since they are couple, the media wasn't 'reading' into anything, they are just seeing what is blatantly obvious.

joeya-the reality is we don't know what kind of relationship MA and KS had. They were often in different places with jobs. THere's many more than a couple rumors they were an on/off type of a relationship throughout the years. Who knows? I don't. I think the reality is that we just don't know, so it's hard to make judgements.

Please define "freaked out"? And please show evidence in my post that I was 'freaked out'. Again, I am merely stating my opinion that Kristen is looking a little rough.
But since you seem intent on painting my post as 'girl on girl violence' (get freaking grip, btw), I will respond about Rob's smoking. yes, it is aging him as well. Fortunately for him, the affect it has on him make him appear more masculine and he has much less of a 'baby face' than he had just a few years ago. This adds to his appeal, IMO. No, it is not fair, but it's the way it is, particularly in the film industry. Men can 'let themselves go' more easily than women. If you want that to change, then don't get on my case, get on the case of the men that hold ideals such as megan fox, angelina jolie, etc up as the perfect female.

4. From looking at those pics again, I may have misjudged something. I'm not sure they were trying to get "caught" at all. They arrived with Taylor and went to a concert with their castmates (and thousands of other people in attendance) while sitting in the dark. They probably thought they were "safe." No darlins, there is no more "safe" for the two of you.

Joeya and Naples- Y'all are both being naive. MA could have easily been the one to break up with her. We don't know them personally or anything about their relationship. There could have been already major problems going on. Rob and Kris have known each other now for over a year and a half. They have built a wonderful friendship that has now turned into something more. You can't blame Rob or Kris for a relationship that ran it's course. Kris has moved on and so has MA.

Shani: you are right, no one knows why they beoke up! It could have been because of all the rumors of KS/RP hooking up that possibly made MA end the relationship. If that is the case then he can now sit back and say I was right. All i'm saying is how is it ok for RP/KS to get involved in a relationship after Rob has hung out with KS/MA while they were dating? He supposedly was friends with both of them. Then there is Nikki, she is friends with both MA/KS and she used to hang out with Rob all the time like Kristen does now! Put yourself in the shoes of MA! I agree joeya_85. Teenage romances are not meant to last, so i don't think anyone ever expect michael and kristen to date forever. But Rob did hang out with the both of them as friends. At the very least, Rob may have broken the 'bro code'. Just ask Barney Stinsen :) Before Yves has a hissy fit, I'm only kidding.
As for Robert and Michael being friends. That was the weird thing to me to be honest. There were always speculation about Robert and Kristen. Kristen always said no, I have a boyfriend. Yet the rumors persisted.
Now, I've always thought, hey, how do you squash those rumors? By seeing Robert and michael hanging out and getting along. Never happened. That's all that was needed to be honest, and it never happened.
So, who knows what rumors are true really, about how bffy Robert really was with MA? I never really bought that rumor personally.

Don't anyone think for a minute that the two of them becoming real life lovers has nothing to do with the continued success of this franchise. It very well could. And Summit knows it. This is one of the more (how should I say this delicately?) UNUSUAL fandoms to come down the pike in recent years. I don't have to go into it all again, but the line between fantasy and reality has become VERY blurred for some of them. And something very important to keep in mind. They've still got four more movies over the course of the next two years to sell.
If Rob and Kristen are the real deal (and I think they are. I think this is going to be a substantial relationship in both their lives and it ain't gonna blow over in a couple of months. It took them too long plus the overcoming of obstacles to be together), but if this love affair is the real thing and lasts until at least the of the Twilight Saga, some fans are gonna drop off. And could that hurt ticket sales? Yeah. It could.

Ashses- No, she did not move on quickly. Rob and her have been friends for over a year and a half now. They also have been holding back feelings for one another. Again, I say we don't know what was going on with her and MA. Something major happened for them to break up.But that's their personal business. And it was rumored that they had a type of on/off relationship anyway.
People jump in and out all relationships all the time. They are not different than anyone else. Everyone has different reasons for doing so.There are many college kids that jump in and out of relationships. It doesn't matter how long someone is with another person. What, do you want them to waste more time being without each other just so you and others can feel better?

Yes, and it's not unique to this fandom or rob/Kristen. Just look at the movie Gigli. And I'm willing to bet you won't see Brad/Angie in a movie together. Mr and Mrs smith worked, but they weren't dating at that time. High profile couples tend to shy away from doing movies together. Overexposure. But, I think 'Robsten' can still do well in the twilight movies. You have the fans that just see them as edward/bella that will see the movie multiple times to make up for the fans lost from the Robsten hype. It would be a mistake, though, for them to pair up in anything beyond twilight, I think.

Joeya- MA and Rob were never friends. Ma was around because of Kris. There was a rumor that they didn't like each other.
So the Bro Code was not broken. The only pic I saw of them anywhere near each other was the one at the Juno awards after party or whatever award show that was in Van. Rob was talking to this guy with his hood up while everybody else was looking his way.MA and Kris was on the couch holding champagne. Kris was looking towards Rob. That was the same night Lainey said Nikki left with Rob with his arm around her shoulder going back to his hotel. And they weren't spotted until the next day.
The Nikki part of it...she was trying her best to look like there was really something going on between her and Rob. I believe like so many that they were ONLY fuck buddies. Nikki also was out for the fame. There have been to many pics of out of the way shots of her and Rob from last year when all that started. Nikki is not innocent. She wanted more and Rob didn't. Rob has always said who he wanted...Kris.Oh and lets not forgot Nikki lovely comments calling rob womanly.Yeah...bitter much.
And if I remember correctly last year while doing promotion of Twilight with Edi and Kellan. A fan asked them who in the cast have hooked up. Big mouth Nikki was the first to jump and say that there was some hooking up, but she couldn't say who. That's when all the insinuating started by her that possibly her and Rob got together. And the rumor mill started.

There is a school of thought in Hollywood that real life couples don't do so well at the box office; Affleck and Lopez in Giggli (or however the hell you spell it), Cruise and Kidman in Far And Away and Eyes Wide Shot, Ryan and Crowe in Proof Of Life, Anniston and Vaughn in The Breakup, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton bombed in nearly every movie they made together (with two exceptions; Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolfe and The Taming Of The Shrew). Even Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz failed together on the big screen.
Now Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy were a great screen success for 25 years, but the public did not know that they were lovers. That didn't start to come out until after Tracy's death. Out of respect for them both, the press kept their traps shut. Which brings us to Mr. and Mrs. Smith...
That film was a smash. Why? Because Pitt and Jolie were lovers? Nope. At the time that film was released they had not gone public as a couple. The audience only THOUGHT they were together. Big, big difference and that speculation is what Hollywood thinks, made that film such a hit.
(Also...I know that Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling became a couple after meeting on The Notebook, but I don't know when they got together or just how big a hit that was at the box office. I know it wasn't a failure). But back to Mr. and Mrs. Smith...Me thinks Summit would like to use the same strategy to sell their Twilight franchise. Are they or aren't they?
They are. Sorry Summit. Gonna have to figure out another way to sell your movies. Oh wait...
You have a way. Your franchise stars the most beautiful, desirable young actor in the world.
Some will drop off along the way, but the majority will stick around (and if Remember Me and Unbound Captive are successful, your audience will expand further).
Relax Summit. Your franchise is sold. Let these two kids love each other however they want. If they want. At the end of the day, YOU DO NOT OWN THEM and just try finishing up your saga without them.

Summit will get WAY more mileage out of speculation than confirmation! Plain and simple. Speculaction can go on indefinitely, sparking debates and letting each "side" feel satisfied with their own interpretation of events. This has been going on since the R/K pics at Sam Bradley's show in early May. Last night's KOL concert pics look just like the Sam show pics, showing R/K nose-to-nose, giggling and talking and oblivious to the rest of the world. Except there was no kissing shot, so the open-ended speculation continued ad nauseum for months, despite "morning after" hotel photos cropping up every time they had a chance to be together.
It's pretty ironic to me that R/K dating could have a detrimental effect on the Twi-movies, considering that the entire series depends upon us believing that Bella and Edward are destined to be together and share a bond so deep that we all wish we could find it in our everyday lives. The fact that these two possibly DID find that in each other should, in theory, be the biggest boon ever to the upcoming movies. And yet it puts their upcoming scenes together under an even more powerful microscope, because now we want to see the REAL passion behind the "acting."
I think they're damned if they do and damned if they don't at this point! I don't even know what the answer is, PR-wise, at this point. I think the studio needs to realize that they'll never make every fan happy, but making their biggest stars happy might go a long way in keeping the whole thing afloat. Whatever R/K's wishes are, I hope Summit will respect them (whether that means public declarations or continued avoidance of the issue. That should be R/K's decision, not Summit's.)

One of my long standing dreams was to attend Kings of leon concert live. . I know all the words of their songs by heart …well they are performing this year. Next weekend I’m going to visit my sister and we will attend their concert; I've compared tickets prices tix before from Ticketwood.com
So I'll be analyzing as well as enjoying the concert.
